just heard fletcher agreed a 4year contract with sunderland dont know transfer fee disappointed {Ed011's Note - Source?

O right so all the wa from USA fletcher has jut signed a contract with sunderland LMFAO must have long arms to be doing that
PortonWolf

Heard nothing about this to be honest, not mentioned on the Sunderland equivalent page.

Apparently hes good mates with mike atherton and hes been on twitter saying hes signing also mcgeady after euros

Its on now

Is fletcher good?

No, Fletcher is awful. You should probably send him back.

Pretty sure this is a load of tripe as I checked twitter and other sites and nothing has been said. I may be wrong but seems like a wind up considering nothing in the internet says that fletcher has moved. I'm ignoring the previous posts till actual confirmation comes out.

I see we have a silly baggie w**ker on here

With rumours going around that we could potentially sign sigarudson it is most likely that a player will be leaving. This player is Sam vokes. He is surplus to requirements at wolves. Among our "top strikers" (fletch, Doyle, Blake) I personally reckon that Doyle is closets to an exit. I can just see him leaving but after te euros when he will consider his options

Just watch out for Everton...they're trying to blag us with supposed interest in Doyle hence covering cost of BBS keeping poxey happy but they are really after BBS. {Ed011's Note - I heard that they are also contesting Southampton's bid for Jay Rodriguez.

The saving grace for both Wolves and Saints is that they can pay up front not on the never never Everton are trying on

Hi Wolves fans, i'm a Everton fan and just wanted your opinion on one of your players if that's ok?
Firstly, gutted your lot went down, your a good club with tradition and history and good fans, always have a bit of banter on away days with your fans and I hope you come straight back up.
Anyway, there is a lot of rumours lately that Moyes is interested in buying Kevin Doyle, is he worth Moyes blowing most of our budget on? Don't know much about him apart from he seems to work hard and lead the line ok, i'd much prefer Fletcher who looks a good goalscorer with his feet and head, anyway what's your thoughts?
Good luck for the season and hope you bounce back to the Prem!
Steve {Ed011's Note - He was brilliant in his first season with us but plays better by himself in a 4-5-1 so I don't know how he'd play with Jelavic.

To be fair to Doyle he may be a completely different player next season. I think mick and the coaching team have made him a lesser player than what he is capable of being

Everton fan doyle a decent footballer but not a prolific scorer may shine at everton given you have better quality players if we cud get 4 million from ya that wud be a great deal 4 us congrats on becoming merseysides number 1 team keep up tje gud work {Ed011's Note - I think I'd hold out for more than £4mill. I think £6million would be fair considering our financial situation, and Doyler will be brilliant in the Championship and might rediscover his edge.

Alright mate, nice to see some people have sense On here. Honestly first season Doyle was quality in the prem and at reading I rated him highly, however last season especially he was average but in my opinion McCarthy ruined him, in a good side with a good manager which I believe everton have in moyes he could do a decent job.
Good luck next season hope u do one over the baggies!

He did well 1st season but he doesnt score enough goals and don't seem to be able to partner anyone, he as problem with falling over or diving which i think as cost him alot of goals but he would probably be a super star under a different manager cos mick mccarthy turned into a poor player ,,he as great control on the ball and someone like Moyes would know how to handle him well

He'l be good with jelavic as even though he didnt score many he did not get mny chances and you have a world class manager in moyes who would do wonders so if i was you get him be good for both clubs and hope you get top 4 kike you can with soem good signing's

I think he is a really good player but don't expect loads of goals. He is better as a supporting striker with a proven goalscorer alongside him. Holds the ball up as well as anyone in the prem and works his socks off. I hope he stays. {Ed011's Note - Would you rather keep Doyler or Ebanks-Blake??

Good question ED. I'd keep them both and cash in on Fletcher and use the money to strengthen elsewhere.

He'd be a good addition for Everton because he can be the perfect foil for Jelavic! He's not the typical big man striker but holds the ball up really well and can bring the wingers into play but last season he was total rubbish, I'd say £5m would be a fair price.

Cheers for the comments! I'm not sure, we do need a back up striker to Jelavic who can play on his own upfront because that's the system Moyes prefers, and going by your comments Doyle can do that just doesn't score enough.
Thanks again, and good luck for the season, if you can keep some of your players and get a good price if you sell somebody then in my opinion you will be back in the premiership next season. Good luck.

Just seen a rumour that Brendan Rogers might be looking at Jarvis. I emphasise rumour.
DB

Dont want Jarvis to go but if Liverpool want the best out of Carroll then Jarvis is taylor made for him so it makes sense for Liverpool.

A norweigian reporter has confirmed that the deal between lillestrom and wolves is very close to being finalised. Bjorn WILL be a Wolves player on Monday.

BigWolf

Still in talks, hopefully there will be a positive outcome, but I don't think there will be any announcement of a "signing" prior to 1 July, an agreement to sign or pre-contract at best.

The one good thing about this, if all comes to all, is that we will have ditched that terrible stanglehold of "have to sell before we can buy". (Probably also means that a clear out is well under way).

Hopefully, I'm guessing by now that Stale has reviewed every single game from last season (some probably more than once) and has made up his mind about certain players so a clear-out may well be on the cards.

Bobbybuffon

When he was at Koln, he didn't have very good defensive tactics. I hope he's learnt from that and can bring something new for our weakest area on the field

BigWolf

You keep saying bjorn will be a wolves player by monday which monday are you on about?!

09 Jun 2012 10:57:20
Bjorn Sigurdarson to be a Wolves player by Monday. Watch this space.

Hope so ,

Bjorn n Fletcher wow! backed up by Doyle n SEB, Jarvis n Kightly running wild and a new defence almost makes last seasons debacle worth the anguish. Hope this happens

^Dream on fletcher and jarvis will leave^

Read on bored Baggie says hope this happens! You should be worried were coming back better and stronger

Fletcher and Jarvis will PROBABLY go, I agree they both want to play in the Premier League but unless the right money is offered then Moxey won't allow them to talk, if they have a hissy fit and strike well fine but they'll do it on £0 wages.
