Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is considering a bid for Sunderland defender Michael Turner if Man Utd decide to sell the black cats O'Shea, Brown & Gibson for £12m then Wolves will put in a bid of £6m for the 27 year old.

Daniel Ayala of has been linked with Wolves according to the telegraph , the telegraph also states Mick has a kitty of around £20,000,000.How ever I seen in an interview with Steve Morgan who said Mick would not be getting the same £18,000,000 he got last Summer.So this could be all purely speculative by the telegraph.Speaking of last Summers transfer kitty , Mick was given £18,000,000 to spend , Wolves brought in Jelle Van Damme for £6, 5000,000 never really played and was sold on for the same amount.So by that I reckon there will be a kitty of around £12,000,000.

Wolves apparently had a £6 million bid for Johnson turned down but we are denying we placed a bid. But blues do want £14 million as stated in the express&star today infact it was the main sport headline. The only thing keeping him their is Europa league I suppose.
