plymouth or liverpool away in next round of cup it is then.

09 Jan 2017 20:00:25
Great draw as long as Liverpool get through and tv don't mess with it. 9000, Wolves! AWESOME!

09 Jan 2017 20:10:47
Plymouth want to beat Liverpool and since they are putting out their youth team again I heavily doubt it will be easy for them, but since Liverpool are so weak with their youth team I believe they will slip up and go out of the cup. Meaning we will beat Plymouth and move into the 5th round. COME ON YOU WOLVES

10 Jan 2017 12:38:32
On the evidence of the last game I doubt that. 28 shots to 4, 18 corners to 0 and 77% procession to 23%. All Plymouth did was stop Liverpool scoring and they were jammy b*****ds at that. Plus they cost me £100 on my accumulator. Not that annoyed about it.

10 Jan 2017 14:58:19
Plymouth to win on penalties, after another 0-0 draw! BEAUTIFUL!

11 Jan 2017 10:06:59
Do we really want Plymouth away?

Let's face it, we're not going to win the FA Cup. So let's hope for a game at Anfield whether it's an Ojo- or Coutinho-flavoured team they put out. That's what we're aiming for next season, right?

13 Jan 2017 17:28:32
Do we really want Plymouth away now the game has been selected for BT Sport's televised lunchtime game - getting to Plymouth for 12.15 KO would be a mission, 3pm is bad enough

09 Jan 2017 17:16:37
Has anyone else heard anything about Omar Bogle from Grimsby? I heard before the window opened that we were looking at him but nothing since. I live on the Isle of Wight and a couple of Portsmouth fans have told me that he is "class" apparantly. I know Rotherham have had a bid of £850,000. Surely £1mill would be worth a punt.

09 Jan 2017 18:06:49
Maybe Rotherham are after him as we're takin Jamie Ward from Rotherham? Just a guess.

09 Jan 2017 18:09:24
Sorry I mean Danny not Jamie who is at Burton.

09 Jan 2017 19:16:29
Omar bogle would be 1mill well spent, you can tell he's hungry too. watch him on YouTube

09 Jan 2017 21:36:55
Bogle looks a decent lad, Big, Powerful and quick. He would be worth a punt at 1M! Maybe get Taylor in from Bristol Rovers as well; he wouldn't cost much either!

10 Jan 2017 09:52:44
My friend is a Grimsby fan and has been raving about him all season. I think it will take £1.5m to get him (or some sort of deal involving one of our kids going the other way on loan - I see Aaron Collins is back from Notts County) . He seems to be the real deal to me though, and he's a local lad - played for Sandwell Town and the Blue Noses in their youth academies.

10 Jan 2017 13:01:25
Apparently Leeds are after him as well, along with Barnsley, that makes 3 other teams so we can forget it!

10 Jan 2017 13:53:58
You miss the point about 'big Bogle'. He was born in Sandwell and all of his family are here. That's pretty important, if you ask me.

10 Jan 2017 15:02:23
I hope we won't be put off the lad because he's a few hundred thousand more than what we want to pay; that's been our downfall under 'The Fat Controller' Moxey! Thelwell needs to let the fans know, he's prepared to pay out that extra bit to snag the targets he and Lambert want! I still think we may pull out a major surprise and also get a couple of decent hardened Champ players; am I dreaming though? COYW!

Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle has revealed that he is yet to receive a written offer from Wolverhampton Wanderers for full-back Ben Marshall.

09 Jan 2017 13:03:51
Good authority that Wallace on loan to millwall is done. Also Wigan have enquired about Gladdon on loan. Wolves want permanent deal

09 Jan 2017 14:43:08
Gladon can't play for Wigan this season since he has already played for Heracles and Wolves.

09 Jan 2017 14:55:34
It's no more than 3 clubs. So transfer can still be done

09 Jan 2017 15:23:35
Yes but he won't be able to play for them so it would make absolutely no sense to go on loan.
From FIFA regulations:
"Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during
one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play
official matches for two clubs"

09 Jan 2017 06:04:10
Blackburn playing hard to get with Ben Marshall, he wants out as unhappy to still be playing right back and running his contract down but they want £2m. Might not happen till end of the month but likely to reach a compromise.

Also enquired for Sam Gallagher who is Lambert's #1 target but Southampton want £6m and Lambert doesn't have those funds at his disposal without players leaving first.

09 Jan 2017 07:04:50
Only two of our players seem to be attracting interest at the moment and that is Iorfa and Dicko. Would not want to lose either but Gallagher looks the real deal. Let's see what happens moving the surplus players on.

09 Jan 2017 08:49:03
If Gallagher doesn't work out then Asombilonga is Lambert second favourite and even though Nottingham want 5million for him it's cheaper than Gallagher and I think a better shot than Gallagher.

09 Jan 2017 12:05:38
Are we still owned by Steve Morgan? To say we don't have 6m at our disposal is a joke, fosun are a multi billon pound company who make somewhere in the region of 25m a day. We've all got to stop worrying about the cost of players if fosun have the ambition they said they have then no player is to expensive and before you all start going on about financial fair play we can always do want man city have done and get more of fosun company's to sponsor us there is always a way around it.

09 Jan 2017 13:30:26
100% agree 1877. And this is why I'm thinkin were just another charm on their sizeable bracelet.

09 Jan 2017 14:07:31
the thing is guys no one really knows what we have to spend, what Lambert wants, whos going out the door and who wants to comes to wolves. We need players who want to play for us not anyone who thinks their better than us etc.
Football is a job ultimatley for these players so they will do what lines the pocket, PL needs to ensure we have the right mix of youth, experience with enough quality to challenge.

09 Jan 2017 14:14:11
Can you not actually see the obvious reason why we are not buying at the moment is because we have just over a 30 man squad, that looking after saturday's performance, some of them are more than capable of getting in the starting 11, yes some players are struggling but its not easy to off load if they aren't performing week in week out.

Wages are high enough as it is which will surely put us by the FFP if we look at trying to spend the bank in this window.

Yes like many of you have said we can terminate contracts but a lot of the players will have it in their contracts to be paid off full wack especially if Mendes was involved, still putting us out of pocket, hence wage funds then being low for signings in the rest of the window.

Just because Fosun have SO CALLED Money at disposal doesn't mean they are going to spend millions in every window.

Just for once stop having a go and get behind the team, but I bet if we don't get the win against the Vile on Saturday the usual suspects will still be moaning.

09 Jan 2017 14:16:45
We don't have the money I assume because of FFP rules.

We already had a large outlay on transfer fees and loan fees.

I'm guessing until we balance the book then we can't afford to splash out until end of season.

If we do manage to get rid of some dead wood this will free up space in squad for quality not quantity which is the lesson Fosun have learnt.

09 Jan 2017 16:56:26
The usual suspects will moan win lose draw

10 Jan 2017 16:24:48
According to Owen Coyle we've not made any bids for Marshall
