Karl Henry will sign for Ipswich Town next season along with Richard Stearman. Berra, De Vries, Doherty, Kostrna, Hunt, Edwards and Ebanks-Blake will all leave for free while trying to slash the wage bill. Eggert Jonsson also wants to leave along with Adam Hammill. Dean Saunders said he wants to shape his own squad and will sit down with the players over the summer to discuss the plans for next season.

For a bit of fun go on the tv sport predictor I have us finishing 17th with 55 pts. post your results. the realist.

I also did the predictor and had us finishing 17th with 56 points, only 3 points above the relegation places!

I highly doubt Ipswich would be able to afforded buying all of those players they don't have a big budget. I hope they all go apart from Doherty fink he looks really good I hope we can keep him as an exciting future prospect with Danny bath. And tbf when we've been regularly playing him why would he want to leave? As for the rest I'm happy for them to go and build a new squad

Ipswich Town Fc owe out an incredible £70,000,000. I can't see them splashing that much cash.

I'd take 17th if we're offered it now. (It's kind of where we are anyway)

Honestly if Doherty isn't commited to us then he can go and I won't be too upset. Who does he think he is anyway, he doesn't look a bad prospect but he's not exactly blessed with a lot of pace.

Doherty contract ends at the end of next season and he will be on kids wages so I very much doubt hell leave on a free to lower the wage bill

Doherty said he will wait until the end of the season about extending to concentrate on football.

I live in ipswich and there has been no talk down here about all of those players, maybe steal an and ward. Where did you get the info about 70,000,000 because I would love to rub it in.

Doc has 18 months left on his contract. This was public knowledge recently.

Original poster I would try hard to keep de vries doherty Hunt and Blake but the rest can go.

Also did predictor - 17th and 55 points. Probably slightly biased with predictions but would take 17th. Bristol, peterbro and Blackburn going down in my world.

S. Hunt is going to sign a new contract no matter what league we are in. SEB will sign a new contract depending on championship survival. Ward & Stearman are off to Ipswich Town FC.

Happy days!

Why would De Vries sign for McCarthy again? He never got a game under him here?

Heard on grapevine Doyle might go back to Reading, doesn't want to be in the 1st division

Doyle will go Celtic, whatever division were in. Paul Tamworth

No not Celtic, his heart is still at Reading they brought him over from Cork and he owes them.

watched your u21s today, you have only got one player! they callED him maKa, can we have him on loan next season pretty please, HE TOOK THE P*** OUT OF US FOR 90 MINS {Ed011's Note - Must be McAlinden. Only hearing rave reviews about the lad. Get him integrated into the first team, show him where he'll be in a few years if he stays with us, give him a loan spell out if he needs it.

Our U21 last played on Friday and Maca didn't play because he was in the squad for the game against Bolton. Stop lying.

U21 played a friendly against Burnley and lost 2-1

U21s and reserves played in a game against Burnley yesterday.

Yes u21's played day time friendly on Monday at Turf More, apparently although Burnley won we gave them a lesson in football. And yes it would have been McAlinden your on about he is a class above the rest of the 21's.

McAlinden will be the next Steve Ball for the club, its about time we had a new local hero, one for the fans to relate to.
