I've heard wolves are no way near a sale . Have held talks with a few slightly interested parties but that's it no offers for club . Kenny Jacket to remain manager for foreseeable future too with no plans to replace him and destabilise ourselves further . This is from a very good person with links to club who I trust but you don't have to.

08 May 2016 19:03:10
Banbury wolf?

08 May 2016 19:12:21
Lmao Paul beginning to have your doubts?

Your 2 sources gone quiet.

This seems a lot closer to the truth than a lot of the other rumours as it ties in what is also being said by Jackett and Moxey.

08 May 2016 19:14:22
morgan staying moxey staying jackett staying oh back to my cider then lol.

08 May 2016 19:45:41
No Not Banbury Paul LoL.

08 May 2016 19:55:57
You'd best hope my sources r correct or your all in for a c--p season again! Lol . They will be 👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺.

08 May 2016 19:56:56
The person who told me this does have links to club . I trust them that much that I now believe anything Banbury. Paul or the realist to be saying as complete made up stories .

It's catergorically a fact that the deal with Moneyshop to but the club is signed and an anouncement will be made next week.
Moxey will remain as CEO and also become chairman and the worst thing of all is Moneyshop want a new ground by the motorway within 5 years.
Jackett is definitely leaving and he knew it 2 months ago.

08 May 2016 20:32:46
There was a party of investors shown around Compton yesterday,

08 May 2016 20:53:20
Universe, I don't know if you're right about money shop but you are about JACKETT. bring on my doubters.

08 May 2016 21:07:57
Sorry guys, you can't all be right and it may be that you're all wrong. After Morgan put the club up for sale there were "revelations" on this site that a sale had been concluded, with completion in December. December came and went. So did various definite, definitive, statements, such as, "Jackett is getting sacked after the next match". I don't start rumours. I just examine the many different rumours that are put forward on this site as actual statements of fact. If I'm not in the know, and I'm not, I say so, I don't pretend I am.

08 May 2016 21:37:11
Yippee ANOTHER announcement can't wait for this one. Let me guess 1030?

08 May 2016 21:38:39
No good speculating, becouse rumours lie. The facts will be revealed when the club wants US the fans to know. I'm a great believer of when the inks dry then it's DONE. sorry to be pessimistic but it's a fact.
What ever happens we all love Wolves and till we die we will. So let's unite and get behind the club we love. up the WOLVES.

08 May 2016 21:56:53
@Universe The Money Shop will not be buying Wolves.

08 May 2016 22:23:16
Next week as in tomorrow or Saturday oh that's good so jackett is defo going yes. Moxey as chairman? First was Morgan building a new stand now your saying the money shop owners are planning to move us upto the motorway in 5 years. Anything mentioned about transfer budget we going to get and who our new manager is going to be?

08 May 2016 22:30:27
Move from Mol? Might as well call that club Telford Dons and reform new Wolves 2017. Just not going to happen.

08 May 2016 22:59:25
I can only tell you what I have been told and have no reason to dis believe this person. I guess we all just need to be patient and wait until the deal is concluded. I know one thing, if it doesn't happen and jackett thelwell stay and moxey heads the board, then next season is already a write off.

09 May 2016 08:14:33
I do love catching up with all the rumours but seriously worry about the health of those fans who are so desperate for certain events to occur.

The rumours are not too far off the mark. The sale of the club has come close on a couple of occasions. My understanding is that it will go through this summer but as for who the buyer is, the amount, the new head coach NOT manager is unclear. Jackett was told he will be sacked a lot longer than 2 months ago but that unless Wolves were going to be relegated it was going to be left to the new owners as compensation was the issue. Compensation? Yes, it's a significant clause for rolling contracts.

I only pray that whatever unfolds, sufficient funds are provided to purchase the players we need as opposed to the ones we dream of or just fill the gaps vacated by those players whose contracts expire or have expressed during the season that they do not want to be here and why would anyone else would sign for us .

09 May 2016 08:14:55
its Monday morning as jackett been sacked yet anymore news on a takeover?

09 May 2016 08:44:13
I actually hope Jim Boraston is correct in his original post on this thread, that Wolves haven't got a buyer, Jacket stays, everything will remain as is. because I think that weill be kiss of death which is what Wolves deserve. I think Moneyshop sponsorship is going to seriously harm the club, will crash it's middle class and rural support and reach and make it much less saleable. It will cause Morgan's problems to get very much worse, which I think would be justice. If the club isn't sold yet, he needs to bin Moneyshop sponsorship or it will never sell.

If Universe is correct, that Moneyshop are buying and they intend an out of town stadium, just lol. The stadium would obviously be toward the M54, hoping to capitalise on support from Shropshire, but Wolves Moneyshop will be detested in Shropshire. I was born Wolves but grew up Shropshire, know it and it's culture like the back of my hand, most of Shropshire won't touch Moneyshop Wolves with a barge pole, it's too urban and down market, it's literally like Morder coming to the Shire.

09 May 2016 08:48:11
So investors being shown around the club good spot. Had this feeling and have mentioned it before. Moxey is the front of investors but with his confections could be backed fully. Jackett will still be here given one more season by moxey. Who is calling the shots. Morgan is already gone just guess is a waiting game now. will be Steve morgan has left the club after selling his shares. Moxey is chairman with silent investors. If moxey is backed by a group or single person. How would people know where the money is coming from? Interesting summer.

09 May 2016 08:54:45
If nothing changes and we start next season with

Ikeme
Iorfa - Batth/ Williamson - Hause - Doherty/ New LB
Henry - Price - Coady (or saville) -New LW until Graham/ Zyro back
Dicko - Mason

Is this that bad? People saying we'll be relegation favourites? Really? We under estimate the difference having a proper no'9 in the team will make. Leicester without Vardy? Spurs without Kane, City without Aguero. With a bit more luck we won't have the shocking amount of injuries we've had this year but I'll stick my neck out and say if nothing changes but we keep Dicko and co fit we will 100% finish higher than this season. Maybe not promotion but the way people are talking you'd thing we're Charlton, Bolton etc.

A few tweaks and we're not far away. Being realistic how many new signings do we need? LB, LW, back up striker and the rest is a case of getting the injured players back. We're not going to be able to match Newcastle, Norwich etc until a new owner comes in.

09 May 2016 09:36:02
If you think money shop will cause the club to crash Ulf you are deluded.
The club will always survive long after we have left this earth. The deal is done and isn't going to be changed so I think it is time to move on and hope we can get a new owner or Morgan decides to change his mind and retain control.
Now is the time we need some forward thinking from those in charge.

09 May 2016 09:55:27
Just Smith you are dreaming, you obviously do not understand that the whole midfield is way under par for a start, look at Saturdays performance against Wednesday RESERVES, decent first half but barely conataining the second.
Man you are in cloud cuckoo land. What about the rest of the squad? the back up players?
We do not have any of worth.

09 May 2016 10:17:32
Re craignemz2011, Moxey as Chairman backed by silent investors wouldn't work, Moneyshop sponsorship is too much of a give away, the Silent Investor would obviously be Grayken, or would be assumed to be and the club would get huge stick for it. (Grayken runs vulture funds, he's taken Irish citizenship but is best known in Ireland for buying portfolio's of distressed mortgages and evicting people - he's Mr Bailiff in Ireland) . No way could WWFC get away with him as owner, or a silent investor people would just assume was him, without suffering a lot of stick and damage. It's too much in conflict with SJH and his legacy.

And I just set this potential off, Moneyshop buying and moving down M54 into Shropshire with Shrewsbury FC fans :-) Moxey doesn't exist on an island, no one in the region wants Moneyshop anywhere near them.

09 May 2016 10:25:29
I would hate to see Wolves move and equally destiny what Money shop stands for but if it takes us forward and gives the club longevity so be it. Move on we need to realize football is about money.

09 May 2016 11:11:43
Already some people on here are beginning to sound a lot less certain of their facts. We have gone from definite statements that deals have been agreed, to "if it doesn't happen. "

If there's any truth in the rumour that Wolves will re-locate eventually to a site near the motorway, that sounds like Molineux will be developed for housing. Anyone know a builder?

09 May 2016 11:19:13
Hello Paul Tamworth the thing with a 12 month contract that not many people understand is the fact it makes it a rolling contract and to cancel it you need to give 12 month notice. So if Jackett is going as you suggest then he will get 12 month compensation (unless Moxey has already given him notice 12 months ago) . Frankly I cannot see Moxey shelling out 12 months compo can you?

09 May 2016 11:59:04
Re Spanish Wolf - the problem with Moneyshop is that it harms Wolves longevity.

Most regions in England have 2 football clubs - 1 local / urban that is working class / class defined / class limited. Ours is the Baggies, same as Everton, Man City (before the Arabs) , Birmingham City etc. The other type in each region is the glamorous club that isn't class defined or limited, is inclusive of everyone. In our region it's Wolves, same as Liverpool FC, Man United, Villa etc.

Moneyshop are a working class / class defined / class limited brand, so it's the wrong fit for Wolves, it means anyone not working class and urban, so middle class and rural, are excluded by the clubs identity, they no longer belong, over time Wolves will lose them as supporters and will lose the potential to attract new supporters like that. Moneyshop sponsorship changes WWFC's identity, it kills WWFC's reach, it makes WWFC a smaller club than it was with vastly less potential, and no potential at all to be a massive National club again like it was.

Zero viability and longevity with Moneyshop, and that's the point. You're right, football has to be about money, which is why Wolves need to bin Moneyshop sponsorship because it will lose Wolves masses of support and so money in the future.

Why don't we all wait and see what the main people at wolves say soon. Yeah its frustrating not hearing anything from those in charge. Since the club has been up for sale we've been linked with everyone across the world. How many more we going to be linked with? Morgan might not return down the wolves but will be on the phone as he has been since walking away. If your not welcome at wolves then keep away that's what we all wanted and have got. He still owns us. He might wanna not sell all his 100% stake in the club just keep a little. Moxey will run the club until its sold in a few years. Money shop is our main sponsor cause who in the right mind would wanna put their names and reputation on us as we stand at the moment. Jackett is here for one more season. Morgan already did the sackings before and was all over the papers for being trigger happy. So money shop sponsor here for 3 years. Why didn't Morgans main interest sponsor us or aren't we allowed or because of the way we would of kicked off? Don't make up rumours. So looks like villa are being sold. Maybe leaner could buy us he's getting £100m so £40m to morgan £60m on first team. He hasn't been mentioned yet not a bad shout.

DerbyWolf its far from dreaming to be honest it's being realistic. Dreaming is saying a new owner is coming in, appointing Brendan Rodgers and spending 25m however if that doesn't happen and that's the worse case scenario it's not as bad as being made out really is it?

I'm not saying that team will get promotion I'm saying people saying we'd be favourites for relegation are having a laugh. Yes we need to strengthen if we want to get promotion but do you honestly believe that team would go down?
