Personally I would really like to see Dann and Johnson come to Mol.
The season before last they were both fit and Brum had the second best defensive record in the league behind Man Utd.
If it takes £15mil and three or four players I say do the deal and let's get ready for the new season.

Wolves will sign Liam Ridgewell off Birmingham City for 3m when Wolves return from Ireland next week. Ridgewell wants Premier League football and Wolves and Albion are the only two teams to show an interest in signing the defender.

There's a deal in place for Johnson & Dann to come to Wolves for around £15 million plus Berra & SEB.
The sticking point is getting the Wolves players to agree to the move.

Scott Dann to Stoke has broken down, Wolves could come in with a bid in the hope of teaming up with Johnson, who could sign a deal at Molineux in the next week or so. Expect Birmingham CB/ LB Liam Ridgewell in black and gold next season too.

Wolves have offered Chelsea £4m for Israeli playmaker Yossi Benayoun, the player wants first team football after appearing only 6 times in his first season at Chelsea and is willing to take a large cut on wages. If this deal falls through Wolves will offer the same amount for West Ham's central midfielder Mark Noble as a second priority.
Roger Johnson is also close to moving across the West Midlands with Wolves and Birmingham set to agree on a £10m fee for the player who McCarthy regards as vital to premier league survival and pleaded to Moxey and Morgan to make it a done deal and expect this signing completed within the next two weeks as clubs refine there valuation of each player (£14m Birmingham, £8m Wolves) to agree near the middle.
Also, with Wolves letting Matt Mills go to Leicester, the club are preparing a bid of £3m for Birmingham's versatile no-nonsense defender Liam Ridgewell who fits the bill for McCarthy's side.

How about Wolves sell Doyle to Arsenal and take Robbie Keane from Tottenham as a replacement. Wouldnt mind seeing Joleon Lescott back at the Molineux either. {Ed008's Note - Lescott's wages could be a huge problem...

Well we started this Summer with the following list of Central defenders linked to Wolves:

Of the above list it seems IF we are still interested, that the last 3 names are only now remaining to try and capture, OR do the 3m's have a Surprise or two that we don't no about. ??
