So I have heard of a friend ( who has been right about several signings ) that we won't buy unless we sell, due to wage buget. Last year's budget worked out to 150000 per week it's now 230000 pw but we are currently at 245000 pw. Apparently pl has a shortlist of 14 players all chosen by him and not mendes.

Looks like Derby have landed Nugent for £2 million. Good bit of business as he will score 15 goals a season minimum. Difference between play offs and mid table. If we are that much in debt send Borthwick Jackson and John back and get rid of tex. Release Silvio and gladon and we should be nearly there!

Gladon signed a 4-5 year deal that will cost a couple of million at least to release from. Even on a fre we'll end up subsidising his wages for the foreseeable.

If Gladdon won't move, then let him rot training with the youngsters! I know it was much more high profile but, Sir Fergie did it with Dwight York and that finished his career! I'm sure Gladdon will want to start to play and who knows, with games he may turn out to be a half decent player so, a loan or permanent move may do both parties good! However, it doesn't seem to appear that he's putting in the required focus under Lambert, hence him not even being looked at for the first team! In Lambert we trust! COYW

Ok if we're back to having a small budget let's accept it. we will sign two players. which should be ben marshall and either matty taylor or sam winnall can't think of better players for the money.

Not in the team Scottish because he isn't good enough to get in. So we are buying the players that aren't good enough for other championship teams. Should go for Conor Chaplin from Portsmouth and Bradley Dack

Ive heard that our transfer funds for this january are about 2-3 million but whoever we get rid of the money will go towards transfers aswell the budget is so low because they are going to blow out on some big signing in the summer instead of getting back up players

I think you may well be right Sidney as lambert has said he wants 1 maybe 2 and wants to get rid off a far few and that basically this window is more about outs and will look more for the summer to bring players in so like I say Sidney that make sense to me

Lambert is definetly sorting us out we are looking better and better each week n now Williamson is back and providing he stays fit I think we will see a lot more clean sheets. no need to spend this January as we aren't going to go down for sure or make the play offs I donnnnnt think? Just need to find the consistency now and take it into next season, get 3 quality players in the summer and then let's do the job next season n go for the top 2 spots!

So, let's see now, we win a cup game and all of a sudden we don't need strengthening? Don't believe we can wait til summer to strengthen, afterall, PL must've been told the budget to play with before he signed and would hardly sign if no budget!
