"Used to be good" - when? He has consistently underachieved. We shouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
I cannot see Kenny wanting to sign him, I have heard Kenny actually wants too sign Nakhi Wells.

I have previously posted the need to add 3 players this summers - the most important of them being competition for McDonald and Dicko. The other is more questionable and dependent on whether it is felt McCarey needs game time now or is tasked to fight for the number one jersey, if the former an experienced head bought in on short term contract.
With this in mind does anyone have suggestions on who is best to fill in my opinion crucial holes in the squad? And what do we think of pursuing Hogan and Spearing?
Think the Flying Dutchman and Evans could be the surprise packages of the new campaign. Do any of you think these will be or have thoughts on who may be?
Wells is the same size as Dicko. I thought we wanted a big fella!

Kenny likes Evans as we saw by the number of games he got towards the end of last season. So if he shows promise he'll get games probably more easily than Davis for example. But there is a lot of competition in midfield and we may have to see a couple of injuries (usually Edwards!) before Lee gets his chance.
Agree u don't think Mcarey would be ready and would be best loaned out with Zeli Liam and forde if we can't sell forde.
And I'd hope to bring in someone like woods or grahama who had a good scoring record in the division and to challenge Dicko. I haven't got a lot of hope for Clarke or Doyle this year again and I think Liam needs regular game time and should be loaned out again.
Midfield i'd sell Davis if he can't break into the team again and look at another holding midfielder and an attacking midfielder I was gutted to here we weren't after Pritchard from spurs. Or mcgregor from Celtic. Spearing wouldn't be a bad call, and who was the lad from Liverpool we were linked with at one point that's gone quiet?
I think a proven keeper to challenge and push carl on would be good! As well as a lb unless Rowe will play there? And a cb
