I saw Jez Moxey with another bloke in a suit get on the Manchester to Rennes flight yesterday morning. Does anyone know if we're after a French player? This is untrue, my mate is a post man a delivers on the bridgenorth road where moxey lives n saw him this morning at around 11am

How long did you expect him to stay over there if he was talking business? If he went on Monday morning there is a good chance he could be back by late Monday or Tuesday. Just saying what I saw.

Christophe Berra is flattered by being linked to Rangers but feels the time is not right to return to Scotland. Berra feels he still has a part to play at Wolves. It is reported that Wolves should they let Berra go are looking to recoup their 2.3 million outlay and feel his 60 + premiership appearances supports that.

Wolves unwilling to compromise on tranfers costs and ares ticking to their guns on their valuation of Mills and Johnson. The Molineux Men are considering a 7 million bid for Evans but due to Wes Browns departure may have missed their chance. Centre Backs are still number 1 priority and a deal is expected very soon on a marquee signing.

Wolves will sign Liam Ridgewell for 2m off Birmingham by the end of next week. The centre half go left back is very versatile and McCarthy loves that ability from his players

Wolves will seal the deal on Matt Mills this week, the player wants to sign for the club but Reading were holding out for £4 million but it is believed the clubs will eventually settle by at least the end of the week for a fee of around that figure.

Also, after seeing alot of attention being dragged over to Scott Dann in the battle for Birmingham's two centre halves Wolves have proposed an offer of Christophe Berra and £8m in order to seal the deal and complete the centre back pairing and Birmingham's owner Carson Yeung is not looking to stall on negotiations with himself in serious money laundering allegations which could see him lose his fortunes and Wolves are hoping this will lead to a fast agreement being made.

Elsewhere on Wolves radar, once both centre halves have been sorted they will look into the free transfer market and possibly abroad - in France. Wolves negotiators are believed to have made contact with several french clubs with enquiries over several midfield players.
