Saunders will be sacked early next week.
Morgans first choice to replace him is Uwe Rosler, if he fails to get Brentford promoted.

Wonder what our chances of getting wells are if Bradford don't go up

Can we sack some of the players as well Johnson. Doyle, ohara the list goes on,

After yet another baggies man

Does it matter who he played for FFS we need to get over this tribalism issue whether he played for wba or not if he is the best candidate for the job get him in

Uwe Rosler is no better than Saunders! After he was given time with Wrexham and Doncaster, he turned things around and left them in respectable positions. As long as he can offload all our so called 'top players' and build a squad around our youngsters, it will give us a brighter future even if it doesn't happen overnight!

Really hope he's sacked! I backed him, but 20 points from 20 games and seein the team relegated means his position is untenable! Morgan get a Director of Football in first who can help and oversee your next managerial appointment. Paul Tamworth

The fact that Doncaster went on to win League One does make you question Saunders influence there, him leaving obviously didn't have much effect.

He is also useless to the press and always says ridiculous things.

He has got to go. As for replacements, maybe Coyle if we can get him. T

I see Copenhagen won their league again? How did they manage that without the Great Solbakken? Lol Paul Tamworth

Coyle would be my choice. But let's be honest, are we an attractive proposition to any capable manager? Mind you according to the League Managers Association there are about 200 unemployed managers out there right now.

Rosler would be a decent shout along with Robinson at MK. Both know the league and play football the right way. I'd love to see Graham Taylor as DOF working closely with a young ambitious manager.

I almost don't care who we get just as long as we get rid of Saunders. He is the worst thing that has ever happened to this club.

Paul, you need to let go of Solbakken, you seem to be obsessed with bringing him up.

Paul - You'll notice, that its the first time since Solbakken left, they've managed that.
3 managers succeding Solbakken, and all have come short.
Trust me - most Copenhagen fans, long for Solbakken to come back.

No! I'm well over Solbakken it's the persons on here who think he's a God! Paul Tamworth

I've never thought Stale was a god tbh- just a damn sight better manager than the clown they replaced him with.

If he was so good at turning them round why when he left did they carry in there succeeds etc! Proves he had nothing to do with it

But Copenhagen didn't win the league last season the first season with out Stale, they took a season to adapt and then succeeded, funny that.

Tamworth, you shouldn't be gloating over stale seeing as it was the man u cheered, who was bought in to keep us up, that failed miserably! We will never know if stale would've gotten us relegated, but we know for damn sure that Saunders did! So stop the ridiculous comments and focus on next season!

Id like Kenny Jacket of Millwall. He took them up from league 1 & kept them in the Championship. Not to mention the semi final of the FA cup, all with no money! Plus a lot of swansea give him credit for laying the foundations of playing the good football they now play.
Thats the sort of manager we need to take us forward, can't see DS EVER doing that for us.

Solbakkens a loser and would of got us relegated! That is my last comment on him! Paul Tamworth

ohara off to qpr. all sales from wolves will be undisclosed.

With a bit of look the entire team will go and we can hopefully get some players who want to do well

Saunders will be officially sacked in the morning.

Haven't they got enough disinterested donkeys?

A bit of info please, What is McAlinden like as a player, I'm a NI fan and I would like to know from the guys who have seen him play whether he'll make it or not, our group of players is small right now.

Unlikely. Harry offloaded him to us in the first place and JOH knows he isn't good enough for the Prem. QPR should start as one of the favourites for promotion next season. Ian H

Alex McLiesh would get Wolves back up next season, anyone agree?

Ye but so did we!

He's a really good player wicked left foot I hope we can keep him really positive young player coming through through for us with many others Evans price Zeli Cassidy forde bath Davies siggy hopefully they will be the foundations of are team next year and if so we will once again have a decent team who seems to like and want the club to do well! Hopefully well have Hennessy fit to even if he plays till January and then gets snapped up and we make some money of him

Put it this way, you'll be pleased with McAlinden.

05 May 2013 21:04:13
How do you no he will be sacked in the morning

QPR will follow the same path as us then

Thanks for the info on McAlinden, sounds promising, we (NI) need all the help we can get.

05 May 2013 14:39:56
sako and siggy are in forest's plans!

No they are just off dogging.

Jez Moxeys second chin.

I hope we keep siggy don't think he really proved himself in championship think if he stays hell do really well in league 1 find out if he's a strikers or rm And keep improving then dominate chanpionship if we get back up. As for sako I think it's a given hell leave I think he'll go abroad in my opinion tho

Siigy is a STRIKER, play him there next season whoever is manager (pray to god its not DS)

Sako is to move to Leeds for 700k, with Danny Pugh coming the other way

Would be a good move for sako, too good for league one

Bit underpriced.

700k? When we bought him for 3 million? Not a chance.

I think you will find he will go for more than 700k!

No chance, he will go abroad or a lower premier league team will take a punt.

He cost £3m and has a 3 or 4 year contract. Will cost £5m at least.

This is just a pure lie sako for 700k your joking an leeds? Not a chance I think mayb to a lower level prem side probably but not a lower level championship one have a few more an fall asleep siewolf

I don't agree at all but I don't think well feet 5 I think well take a loss on most are players and well have to as clubs now are situation and we can't afford to keep big earners on

Seen it on a couple of Leeds sites too. Wouldn't be surprised if its 700K with add ons to make it up to about 1.5mill

Any1 know where the players live lol

We will sell some players for a loss, the likes of Johnson, O'Hara.

Sako won't go for a loss, he is on a small wage compared to the others and has a long contract.

We won't be in a financial mess so shouldn't rush into selling players. Remember we still get the £16m and have no previous debt.

All our players are now worth a lot less we won't be able to give them away

We are a compleat disgrace

Seen that wolves and hibs are in talks with griffiths, he said 'there would be no one happier' if he got to stay there next season, may as well just let him go if that's the case. No point in keeping players here that don't want to play for the club! Got a few mates up in scotland, one of them a hibby, he loves griffiths so we may well be missing out, however they did say we, along with a few championship clubs, are keeping tabs on both billy mckay and niall mcginn. Both scored over 20 goals this season, something we've lacked recently! Thoughts?

You said "other championship clubs". other? mate, you going down. bye

He didn't use the word 'other' at all.

Torn on this one. The lad could do a fantastic job for us and a strong manager may keep him in check. Or do we cash in and avoid the hassles he will undoubtably bring?

Jez moxeys second chin

He's the scottish Joey Barton, I don't care if he does get goals, the guys an person. It's just a matter of time before he does something stupid. We need a fresh start with players who are willing to bring some pride back to the club. Give him his wish and get rid!

Move on wum! We are not going down, we are down. Us wolves fans have dealt with it now, as we have been expecting it for a while. Now move on and stop getting enjoyment on another's person's grief. We will come back for the better! UP THE WOLVES.

Morgan sack Deano today! 20 games 20 points he has to go! Hopefully the rumour Moxey is going is also true! Appoint a Director of Football first who can help you choose a new manager. Paul Tamworth

You know what the sad thing is. It would of been perfect for solbakken to start now, he would be able to teach most of our youth his style, bring in a few players of his own. And wouldn't have the problem of the overpaid, no heart players in the team. Unfortunatly that isn't going to happen but I think we should get a manager who has the same vison, getting wolves a better footballing side, not just hoof the ball, football. We need a young manger, who plays good football. And I do agree we need someone competent to make the decision I. e director of football. Without this your just stuck with a car salesman and a property developer making football decisions. Fair play to Steve Morgan holding his hands up and taking the blame for mistakes that have happened, now learn from your mistakes and you or moxey don't make a football decision again. Just do what is required pump money into the club, and listen to people who know what they are doing. I doubt Steve Morgan would take building advise off a footballer? So why ask advise off people who know nothing about football. Morgan hasn't commented on Saunders future yet, so hopefully by next week we will know. I have no faith in deano.

DTM

I don't think we'll have as much power over griffiths now. If we're being completely honest, as terrible as that league is, hibs are a decent side and they are probably more attractive to him that we are right now. Especially since he supports them. I don't think his heart would be in it down here, if I played for the club I love, i'd give everything I had every minute, but if I played with another team, I don't think it would be the same. I think this would be the case with griffiths, time to start a fresh in my eyes, big clear out and bring in new players who will show a bit more desire. Yesterday was upsetting for all, however it was inevitable as we left ourselves in a horrible position. Nevertheless we will be back, better and stronger!

I don't understand the debate about Leigh Griffiths.
Put simply:
1. He is contracted to Wolves for another season.
2. We need someone with the potential to knock in 30 goals next season.
3. Whatever "issues" the lad may have it's up to the manager to manage him. I am a manager at my work. I have around 30 staff. Some are good at their jobs and some are not so good. Some have attitudes and some just don't want to be there. As a manager it's up to me to know how to get the best out of each individual and get them to work together as a team. It's called man management.
4. Hibs probably couldn't afford to buy him so he'd still end up playing for a team he doesn't support.

If Wolves sell Leigh Griffiths it would either be blatant cashing in, or an admission that the manager isn't good enough to get the best out of him

Deano donow should have had a clause in griffiths contract to bring him back any time with goals he had scored, he was manager, he made the mistake, he should pay for it, he hit 27 goals and said himself he needed a striker, what a complete person when we already had one, so we end up being relegated with players which, to be honest, I said all along have not got enough goals in them all through the team to be a promotion team, deano nice guy but not for wolves. wolfy

Sack saunders and get in
