Matt almost every news outlet that featured the story said he was due for a medical on Monday or Tuesday. that equals over 24 hrs if i'm correct. tomorrow is Wednesday is it not? 😂👌.

Now they're saying at the public training today (Wednesday) . No doubt, when this doesn't happen, it will be Friday, then next Monday, then the Monday after that, etc, etc. Basically Talisca mark 2.

Can see earliest being Wednesday but in reality think Friday then Saturday for interviews publicly etc then straight into training monday really wouldn't be surprised if other two players mentioned meant be coming were. Ones we not heard off like texerria n prince were but only from Porto etc.

If we resign Afobe it's to be hoped he's improved immeasurably from the various times I saw him play last season. He was rubbish and the Bournemouth fans certainly wouldn't miss him! We could do a lot better!

To be fair he spent a bit of time out injured and then was kept out of the team by Josh Kings form. But I know where the fans are coming from as he can seem lazy but then suddenly get a goal. That'll do for me.

Der Bild is quite a reputable paper, so if they're reporting it, I would take it at face value.

@ Ed. I live in the Netherlands and we pick up a lot of German news articles here, so from my personal experience, Der Bild are usually more reliable than their English counterparts and have a good reputation here.
{Ed001's Note - I am just telling you what the Germans say and that is that it is their equivalent of a tabloid newspaper and nothing can be believed in it. I really do not care what a bunch of people in a different country think of it, I will take the German viewpoint every time. It is their equivalent to the S*n newspaper and a laughing stock. I know everyone always goes ahh FFP but to be honest who's gives a **** these days so many teams have brought promotion like Bournemouth and Newcastle but I bet any fan wouldn't care if it's their club. We've had to put up with years of crap signings and football. Let's now enjoy the good times!

When Rednap was at QPR in 2015 he spen 108m in the January window alone they got a fine of 8m. We have spent including Neves if it happens around 50m so I am sure if a fine comes along it won't hurt the club to much.

FFP states that a club cannot spend more than they earn. Let's not forget that we have an exclusive deal in place which shows our games in China.

It's a collective loss over 3 years, and if the board aren't willing to put their own money into the club to clear the debt over 3 years then there will be sanctions. Our board will put money in if the club are in debt, so we won't suffer harsh FFP sanctions.

There were some rule changes not too long ago. States you can't lose more than £39m over 3 years. If we reach PL it's not a problem.
I can imagine once the moneyshop deal ends that some Friend of forun will pop up with some incredible sponsorship deal.

My understanding is that Willy Bolly will listen and consider Wolves but at this stage he's holiding out for a top league club i.e not the 2nd tier in any country. Also believe Neves has agreed to join Wolves and mendes has done all the necessary negotiations regarding wage contract starting place and somewhere to live, next stage is he will fly over possibly later in week maybe Friday and be shown around come weekend and Monday pics and videos will be announced and released.

This deal with Neves is taking a bit too long to get over the line for me. It will be personal terms that trash it if anything does I'm thinking as the two clubs have agreed a transfer fee! We all have to wait and hope it's not Talisca all over again!

VDV has played about 20 games in the last two years.
Neves is on holiday, I wouldn't expect him to just drop everything and run back for his medical. If it was Real Madrid then maybe but I can't imagine we're high up on his dream come true moves.
My thoughts are If Porto did file with FFP last minute his sale to us as suggested, Is a sale to another club even a possibility.

My 2 cents on the whole neves thing not getting carried away cause it could end up not happening but saw he is still in portugal which has people worried but for all we know he could be using mendes to get a verbal agreement on PT with wolves and since mendes has ties with the player and the club he can keep player and club updated on contract/ wage demands and once both ends come to an agreement all neves has to do is travel to wolves get a medical which he should pass easily than sign the already verbally agreed contract meaning he won't have to waste time to agree things cause they would of been agreed before he even got there.
