Does anyone on here have anyone with reliable sources to the club. who can possibly she'd some light on any transfer activity other than Marshal.

04 Jan 2017 22:13:46
Tbf I get all my stuff off net or people on twitter what they've heard and I just share it with you all.

04 Jan 2017 22:38:20
On hold mate as fosun aren't prepared to pay the 2 million Blackburn want for him. Nice to see most of the other clubs in our league spending big already. Think what Paul Tamworth said earlier is true and Fosun just wanted another string to their bow and won't back up what they have said. Can see Wolves turning in to the next Portsmouth.

04 Jan 2017 23:43:05
Hang on sec would you pay 2m for someone who has 6 months left on his contract and that would can agree deal with on a pre-contract for nothing or in the summer on a bosman free because I certainly the bloke has rejected 4 new contracts there he won't be signing a new one a may as well just agree a pre-contract and get him on Bosman free transfer!

04 Jan 2017 23:59:09
Yeah not a great start room far. all be it only 4th Jan. Pompey Wolf. I live in Portsmouth too. Don't suppose you drive a white car with the number plate W8LVE do you?

05 Jan 2017 07:42:57
No mate no white car but I do live in Portsmouth.

05 Jan 2017 11:09:19
Yes we have rich owners, but not silly owners. Who in their right mind would pay £2million for a player available on a free in the summer? Blackburn pushing their luck and hoping we get desperate.

Good player, but let's look elsewhere for the immediate and perhaps look at a pre-contract depending on how things go.

05 Jan 2017 11:13:20
How can Wolves turn into the next Portsmouth when according to you Pomepywolf we won't spend £2M on a player that is out of contract in 6 months. We have offered a £1M which is business sense.

05 Jan 2017 22:28:12
Because oakwolf we apparently spent 14 million in the first transfer window and with the team doing so badly we aren't getting the gates which means we have spent more than we will make which means we have broken the rules which means fosun will sell up which means we will have a transfer embargo which means we can't buy players which means we will be in debt which means we are doing to drop divisions?!

04 Jan 2017 19:29:29
Made last ditch move for sako and bamford on the radar.

04 Jan 2017 20:22:43
Zola’s links with Chelsea will put Blues at the front of the pack.

04 Jan 2017 20:35:39
Only us leeds and middlesborogh linked atm but with middlesborogh signing gestede can't see them carrying on with it.

04 Jan 2017 20:45:15
We are in for bamford!?

04 Jan 2017 21:21:21
Can Bamfird play CB?

Sako is a must if available
Marshall would also be a good signing.
McCormack is a leader which is what we need.
We really need a CB and a left footed LB though.

04 Jan 2017 21:42:49
I like Doherty on the left he cuts in really well and has such a powerful strike. EEL has been playing in a 3/ 5 back system at Sheffield so could do that with marshall.

04 Jan 2017 21:48:56
Yh I agree with cb and lb but I would think about moving doherty forward into more of an attacking role because he's so good going forward atm.

04 Jan 2017 22:35:47
Agreed about Doherty as he is a really shirt defender, watch him he neverrecovers when he loses the ball, check it out next match he is really bad at it.

04 Jan 2017 22:40:11
Why has everybody been moaning about players playing out of position constantly and now everyone is shouting for Marshall a creative, quick and tricky winger to play at right back. Wake up everyone!

04 Jan 2017 16:28:09
Midfielder Luke Murphy from Leeds Utd rumoured to be interesting Wolves. Wasn't he on the radar when he was at Crewe? Can't believe we're not rumoured to be after two quality CHs, seems observed!

04 Jan 2017 16:50:17
Chery, Murphy, Karl Henry and a winger from Derby who can't even get in their team. Pretty underwhelming, tbh. I don't even understand Marshall considering Coady would make a terrific right back anyway.

04 Jan 2017 16:58:35
Williamson to make shock comeback this week or next. He could answer a lot of questions we have at CB but another should be made top priority this window. Time to shift on dead wood like Stearman, Baath, Iorfa and EEL. I think most supporters agree with this.

04 Jan 2017 17:08:49
Williamson will always be injury prone and his age is against him, he needs to go as well and better quality brought in.

04 Jan 2017 18:50:10
Think Williamson if over injuries could be a good addition in championship, good player before for us, and it's a drop down from premiership for him so he as experience, we will see.

04 Jan 2017 19:07:01
Williamson had a good injury record before he came here, providing we nurse him back in there is no reason why he can't have another good two seasons. Time to bring on Hause or Iorfa. Used to be that every side had a solid centre back but the more I look around there seems very few of any quality around. Maybe need to start looking abroad again.

07 Jan 2017 00:39:34
Williamson had a shocking injury record before we bought him. What the hell are you on about? The bloke is made from biscuits held together by melted cheese.

04 Jan 2017 10:31:44
Wolves want Marshall and Marshall wants Wolves. However he is out of contract in 6 months time but Blackburn want £2m for him now. I think we should agree a contract for the summer rather than paying over the odds now. We won't be relegated so may be worth looking at a loan signing to replace Stearman or recalling EEL to play alongside Williamson.

04 Jan 2017 15:12:33
I think we should sign sako a few million extra out of the billions in the bank won't hurt for a far better player. time for the owners to stop talking and start doing.

04 Jan 2017 16:18:14
They don't actually say much, though, Wednesfield.

04 Jan 2017 16:59:05
Ed can you please block anyone who mentions the name Sako! We do not need another left winger!

04 Jan 2017 18:15:11
Hypothetical situation: Cavaliero gets nobbled at the weekend and is out for 3 months. If John and Teixiera go back to their clubs as expected, who plays left wing? Ronan is highly talented but not strong enough for two games a week in the Championship and then we are left with Saville which should be a complete non-starter. Zyro won't be seen this season and Graham is still going to be months away from being upto match speed.

Sako therefore looks a good option to play either left wing or even in the hole/ free roll even if we have no injuries. Add to the fact he my help get the best out of Dicko, he knows the club and the majority of the supporters like him, £4m would seem a good re-investment.

I personally would prefer him over Cavaliero anyway - there is no final delivery from him from the wide areas; all our decent crosses come from Costa or Doherty.

04 Jan 2017 18:23:27
If sako does come back then I would play him upfront just because he's tall got a load of strengh skillful and can shoot.

04 Jan 2017 18:34:32
Sako is class and there is no doubt in my mind a player that would make us stronger. I'd even take Sako ahead of Costa because he can play a variety of positions. I can't understand why people have suddenly started having so many doubts about him. It would wake Dicko up again, too. When Costa goes back, only Graham can fill the void on that side so agree Sako would be an asset StattoWolf.

04 Jan 2017 18:56:46
In the long term, a front four of Sako, Dicko, Edwards/ Eno and Cavaliero would be very dangerous. I'm discounting Costa because he'll be going back very soon.

One quality defender and one more midfielder would be enough this window, imv.

04 Jan 2017 20:28:52
I actually would rather have Costa than Sako. I know he' s a fan favourite but I would rather invest in someone new, who could be like Sako or better than the real thing.

04 Jan 2017 20:43:55
Imagine all Costa, Sako, Dicko, Cavaliero and Eno together, with a sprinkling of Graham and Zyro. And for some reason people still think we need a forward. Sako IS that forward - he's a far more effective player than McCormack ever will be. The side would be raining goals with that lot in full bloom together.

Come on Jeff, bring the big man back. It's now, or never mate.

04 Jan 2017 21:02:25
I do think Sako could add something but I can't see us spending that kind of money in this window. We don't know how long Graham is off full fitness this season will probably tail away and I can't see us attracting anyone of significant quality why would you come to Wolves atm!? With the players we've been linked with I'm slightly underwhelmed. Would Lescott be worth a punt and how about Nugent albeit a tad old but we crave experience and he has a great Championship goal record.

04 Jan 2017 21:42:48
Sako would only strengthen the team. and if he was prepared to come back to us why wouldn't we take him. He's arguably a better winger than Caveliero and even Costa. You look at the clubs that yoyo from prem to championship they've all got strength and depth in numbers. we are thread bare when it comes to quality. ditch the no Gooders. Ide take sako over marshall all day. ide like at least 2cb an attacking midfielder and a striker PLEASE.

A short video of our Chinese owners. Their philosophy seems to be about making people happy. Let’s hope they make us Wolves fans happy. I think it will be evolution rather than revolution.
