Transfer window very overrated and only people who benefit are the agents who profit through the panic of a last day scramble. The squad must also leave room for player's from the academy who you either back its progress or just keep buying in to bypass it (not good long term) There has to be some development of these player's and hope for them to progress. How many of us would have settled for Hugill if we knew what would unfold! We need to hope that the selected front 3 out of Jota/ Bonatini/ Bright/ Cav/ Costa all have outstanding seasons and at leat 3 of them get 10-15 goals each, otherwise it will be a struggle to get a playoff place! I'd say I'd take Dicko back in a heartbeat if we could. All the quality we've signed yet no goal scoring centre forward. Baffling to say the least! I hope they know something we fans don't! But after hearing weeks ago Nuno saying we would only sign a cf if the right player came along pretty much explains it I suppose!

Not sure how this has happened, but i expect Jeff Shi, Thelwell Dalrymple and Nuno may need to justify how this has happened. Fosun may be a little unhappy if we miss out on promotion when they have made such a significant investment. Hopefully we can redress the situation in January.

I think we may not see any major striker activity until the indie closes as they are far more likely to b loan to buy options. That is assuming the loan window still applies, if not can someone enlighten me? I also believe we just need to keep the faith in Jeff etc, they have worked wonders so far and they would not have let Mason and Dicko go without being pretty sure that Mr Mendes has it under control. Totally agree wolves 4 life, great signing. Can now see why dicko went. Different type of forward altogether. Was always worried when dicko shot as he never had a back lift with his striking foot. This bloke locadia does what should be done, put the foot right through the ball.
Massive step up in my opinion to the strikers we had and well worth the money.

Donkey Hote, the loan window was taken out of place before the beginning of the 16/ 17 season mate.

I think With Locadia we won't be looking for another striker as Nuno will be happy with the attacking options we have due to the system he plays he will have Locadia and Bonatini as his first choice and rely on Cav, Bright and Jota who can all play the central role if needed. I've seen a few people saying we don't necessarily need a 20-25 goal a season striker if we've got multiple players chipping in with 10-15 each and with Jota, Cav, Locadia, Bonatini and Costa when his back we could certainly have that. Especially as all of those can swap and change between those 3 more forward roles the movement and link up play would be frightening .

Another case to back that up would be look at Abraham last season and the amount of goals he scored and Bristol did nothing.
