Anybody else heard the rumour that Mervyn Day (Curbishley's former No.2) has been at last couple of Wolves games? Maybe AC is not off the Wolves radar after all. Can't wait for Morgan's cunning plan to be unveiled - just hope it's not a damp squib.

Load of cods!

Nash and swain - e&s journos querying its validity on twitter.

Although he has put himself in the running for us again. I think he has to be a serious contender for "them" they seem to think Megson in with a shout for a return well they deserve each other!

Mervyn Day at Mol? I reckon you heard that through the grapevine. ;-)

If I were Curbs I'd rather take over WBA where Hodgson left off than Wolves where Mick&TC left off.

H heard through the grap vine ! class lol , looks like that was wasted on the rest of them though.....

Very good Very Good ha ha

Not on me. Like it.

Thanks guys (I posted the grapevine gag) nice to know we all still have a sense of humour.

Just checked the betting. Peter Reid showing as favourite for the manager's job ahead of Clarke, Bruce and Poyet. Surely some mistake?

Till morgan opens his mouth this will carry on talk of has beens ect

Is Morgan about to pull off a master stroke?
I have a "feeling" a shock appointment is on the cards but the i's need dotting and the t's need to be crossed, not just with the man but the infastructure as it stands.
The power within the Mol is going to be shifted with Moxey's influence on football matters severely diluted leaving him as an income generator.
Morgan has a plan but had to let the system implode first and then instead of dealing with what was inherited he can build a club to compete at the highest level.
Do not underestimate SM, he wants the best for us and shares many of our views with playing staff as well as the backroom lot.
How do I know this?
I don't know 100% probably not even 10% but have a few contacts that have very big ears!

Peter Reid used to be one of my favourite players and his early management was a huge success. But somewhere, he lost it.

Wouldn't be surprised if the whole set up changes. A lot has been learnt from this season's mistakes and shortcomings and a lot of people have been found wanting. Need football men at the top to allow Moxey to do what he does best ( manage finances) and not dabble in the footballing matters and decisions. Morgan needs an effective firewall to avoid all the flak he has received this season (rightly or wrongly.) To top it all let's hope he has been wheeling and dealing to bring in the best available manager.

The 'feeling' you have is more in hope than anything else. prepare yourself for an anticlimax.

...I said to the wife...

Reid comes across as a decent bloke but I don't think he is any different to MM. Lots of fire in his belly but we don't need a manager who just fires people up and rants and raves ( we got rid of one ). We need a manager who can bring about a way of playing that is attractive, attack minded, of a quick tempo and excites and you can throw the ranting and raving in when it isn't working. Send your answers on a postcard to Mr Morgan, Molineux, Waterloo Rd, Wolverhampton. For me it's Holloway.

If wolves sell fletcher they will be looking to loan a young up and coming striker from the top four prem teams possible John guidetti from man city who has been on loan at feyenoord this season. City would like to see how he copes with the English game and see this as a win win situation

No thanks...we'll hold onto Fletcher

Lol. guidetti 20 goals at eredivisie this season. and someone would say no to have that quality guy in championship? Well, not going to happen.

Stick to your PS3 or computer games

Personally id like us to replace fletcher or doyle with Jamiane Beckford BUT ONLY IF WE RECEIVE A SILLY MONEY OFFER ! If not then they can stay here and get us out the mess they put us in this season same goes with our other "star" players

Well fletchers scored 16 goals for me on football manager, and jon Guidetti doesnt come good till 2018 so no thank.... hha

Anyone struggling to get into the Man City team is worth taking on loan. Maybe we can have Joleon back again.

Fletchers off according to his cousin but would,nt say where.

One of the promoted clubs, or one of the clubs that just stayed up probably.

The ps3? oh please, John Guidetti has been amazing for feyenoord this season, i'd say the best striker in the dutch league, he really turned their season around
