2 weeks before the start of the season and still no new defender! This has been our downfall for the past 3 seasons. 2 decent centre backs and we would still be in the prem. we also still have players who don't know if they are coming or going. Moxey this is disgraceful. Please sort it out and give ss a chance.

Why? The contract will say that if we want to sign him then we will - other clubs will only be able to sign him if we don't want to.

We have 1st refusal on him Rennes can't accept any bids untill his loan is over next season the only way we won't have him is if we cancel the loan or talks break down between player n club the 2.4 million has been agreed already just the fact we have to wait n see now

I heard it was around 5 million

{Ed011's Note - Hearing we may have signed Savic on a season long loan contrary to what I said earlier. More to follow as soon as poss. May just be rumours.

Hope if it is a loan theirs a possibility to buy at end of the season cause theirs no point getting a loan player in that does well and then have to go out and get a new player the next year and hopefully this time next year we're strenthing our team to stay in the Prem

people on here keep saying sell hunt,stearman,henry etc but if no one comes in with an offer it can not happen and how many moaned when we sold guedioura and who did we get in tongo. so stop moaning about hammill going surport wolves or move on to someother team

Im happy to see hammill goin 2 b fair because that means that we will probably buy another 1 and means its less likely tht kightly or jarvis will go

Amazed at how many fans that are expecting us to play 2 wingers, solbakken has already said he wants to use a more compact midfield and has looked at using kightly behind the main striker.

Leeds havent yet updated ross mccormacks contract as he is in talks with wolves. Solbakken has watched the players videos and it is thought that wolves have put in a 2.2m bid

hi all,im an arsenal fan firstly,but live in wolves,i went to the shrewsbury game,and i have to say i wouldnt let danny bath go out on loan or sold,he just needs a run in the team a good few clean sheets and he'll be full of confidence,also i thought the new lad tongo doumbia?hes a quality player,looking to shift the ball quickly with also a mind to attack,i think if you keep seb,and doyle wolves will be back in the prem next season.

Kalilou Traore to Wolves or Wigan seems to be gathering momentum , the might of the E&S have said today on the rumour section or the guess and stir as a fellow poster calls them (lol) , could the "Stale effect" as ED011 calls it be a factor in the deal ? interesting that we are linked with midfield players , Stale has said "If we were to keep all of our current squad , I know the starting eleven"

What is everyones problem with Edwards he is not a bad player did not play loads last season and scored 3 prem goals he makes good runs has a brilliant attitude towards the game and puts a shift in always and gives 100% give the lad a chance.

I agree that Edwards puts a "shift in" and puts 100% in everytime he's on the pitch. He runs a lot and goes box to box. But surely he's going to be the next out of wolves. Tongo is a better box to box player (from what i've heard) and if we get Traore who's another box to box player that put a couple players in the transfer list. In Centre midfield we have Davis, Henry, Milijas, Edwards, Tongo, Jonsson and o'hara.
