Why on earth would they loan him out? Another stab in the dark.
Out of contract at end of season and apparently out of favour with Lomas as he doesn't feel his workrate is sufficient. Deal would be a loan then purchase. It makes sense, if Sako carries on at his rate he will be gone at christmas, although Henry is right sided not left.

Work mate of mine is a Forest fan and he claims Sako is going to go on loan to them with a view to a £5 million move in January. bloody hope not but you never know.

We allegedly rejected 3.5m but 5m would probably swing it. In the meantime let's hope he scores or sets up plenty more goals.
Why would we let our second top scorer and top assister to go out on loan when Sako himself has already said he wants to stay and help get promotion?

Silly comment re why would Millwall let JH go; Steve Lomas hasn't even had him in the squad lately, isn't playing a system with out and out wingers and wants money for other players. Henry played his best football under KJ and a loan bid was already rejected. My main worry is that although at 24 and with lots of championship experience he would be worth a go, he's known to be greedy. can we afford two of them? Western Wolf

If his contract is out end of the season why would we pay 250k for him in jan?
I would only imagine as part of the deal for us getting him on loan now. Lomas did say originally that he wasn't available for loan, only transfer. Sort of pay us quarter of a million and you can have him now sort of deal.
Can only be a good thing if he us as good as he has been touted as. We need something else in midfield currently

We have lots of midfield options. I can see a couple going elsewhere on loan as the bench just isn't big enough.
