Diony looks like another Don Goodman, with a similar disappointing strike ratio of 1 in 4. I still think Dicko is the best answer, given a new midfield to supply him. I like the look of Abeid, tho. Would be exactly what we need in the middle.

Can't believe you can say that, OW. A couple of years ago with Sako and Afobe, Dicko was untouchable. Judge him after we get in two decent midfielders. If he still fails at this point, and with Graham, Zyro, Cav, Marshall and Costa feeding him, then I will agree.

Barry Douglas would be great signing imo he's a true left back and this club has been missing one of them for a few years now. There's a few people on here who are dismissing British players just because there British and then there getting all excited about foreigners they've never heard of. I want nothing more than wolves to succeed this season and I think they will but just because players have foreign names doesn't mean there all going to be world beaters, come on boys let's get a grip . Agree 1877, especially after last seasons transfers. Hope they do well but there is nothing to go on, as most of the players we are signing haven't played at a very high level.

You're right 1877. There's a depressing tendency for fans to rubbish a player they have never even heard of, let alone seen play. Barry Douglas was scouted as a Lambert target. He is not being parachuted in by Mendes. He is a genuine left back and we don't seem to have many of them! He doesn't have a fancy foreign name but don't hold that against him. He's playing in a tough league, at least as good as our championship. The signs are promising even if some fans can't see them.
