Hi Ed any chance of tying up all the poss signings just incase I missed one.
These are really good times, when it all settles down and the players settle in should be awesome.
Ed what do you think of making this site a radio programme on a local station, reckon you would have the highest ratings every week.

COME ON YE WOLVES {Ed011's Note - I do have a voice for radio... We are missing a Wolves fan based radio station to be honest, all the local stations do now is play slightly out of date music and call it "all the latest hits". If I was asked I wouldn't say no to be honest haha. And now coming live to you from rainy Wolverhampton, Ladies and Gentlemen, our possible transfer targets:

1. Bakary Sako - 24-year-old exciting Malian/French Saint-Etienne Winger - I expected a deal to be wrapped up faster than this considering what's being said by French media with many people saying that he had signed but unfortunately not with E&S reporter Tim Nash interestingly saying those reports were "premature" hinting that a deal is on the way.

2. Christian Bolanos - 28 year old Winger - If we get Sako as well as already signing Boukari this may be unlikely, but with Hammill and Hunt expected to be leaving we would have a shortage of wingers. If this were to happen rumours were it would only happen after the second leg of Copenhagen's games against Lille which takes place tomorrow with Copenhagen taking a one goal advantage to Northern France. He recently posted on a popular social networking site the name of which I am not allowed to mention but rhymes with bitter (like I am for not being able to post it) that he had "Decisions to make but all for a good thing for my future and my family!".

3. The Outgoing players we know about are Hunt, Berra, Hammill, Milijas and Jonsson, who have all been told they can leave. Recently Doyle has been linked with Everton and Villa and Ward has again been linked with Everton. If either Doyle or Ward went we'd need replacements immediately but the others are less so crucial with Solbakken wanting to cut the size of the squad down to 23-25.

Chapter 4. "The Debacle of the Mystery Marquee Player" - Not long ago a so-called agent claimed that we'd been in talks with a big name player who would be the biggest player our club had ever signed but he couldn't announce the name yet, the set of a wild amount of rumours that players such as Michael Owen, John Carew and even Dimitar Berbatov could be on the way to Molineux, it turned out that he was linking us with Peter Crouch and in the end the club came out and rubbished the reports themselves... awkward really and now we don't know if there will be a Marquee signing or not.

5. Players the Fans are calling for - The most common names I've seen fans wanting us to get are Tom Ince and Jordan Rhodes. Tom Ince has recently said that he is 100% happy to stay at Blackpool and isn't interested in a move at the moment so that already quashes that link. Jordan Rhodes has been told that he will be staying at Huddersfield next season and has been linked with higher clubs than us, I think it would have to be a significant amount of money to prise him away, at least £7m+ but he would be an exciting acquisition.

At most I can see us getting 1 or 2 wingers, maybe a striker, maybe a fullback. But with our club's policy with transfers I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little surprise... So it wouldn't be a surprise it that sense... it's far too late for this... Whatever happens I'll try to keep up to date!! COME ON YOU WOLVES!!

Not that ince would come to us, but just read his interview and he is careful with his words, he never actually says i am staying.

I just read on a website that wolves are going to sign former france&juventus star david tresaget on a 2 year deal , dont know how to spell his name and has anyone heard anything about it? tbh i thought he had retired!,would he be a good signing,dont really know nothing about him nomore,but i watched him alot for juventus and france and he was quality(i think hes lost it now if he still plays)!

6 years ago perhaps. He's left the proverbial hill in the distance.

He is not a very good player not someone who will be good now or in the future, we have a new centre back so really we need full backs.

The only reason the mid got overrun was because we were playing Edwards, not because Henry wasnt playing!! And there is no other good players so yeah put in the new ones, doubt solbakken would sign players who arent better than berra - dont know if that is even possible berra is rubbish!!

Why 5mil for ince adam johnson went for 8mil that would be a waste rather take the chance on the guy!!

Just read this article ed. Hasn't really filled me with confidence. He is basically summed up as inconsistant. Not exactly what we need. And only ever shines againt inferior opponents? Then again, to go doumbia didn't get praise for his time at Rennes so we will just have to hope and keep fingers crossed.

ED 011 - Have you seen anything regarding new defenders ??

I think were stugling to bring in any half decent defender and might well end up having to wait till jan.

Trouble with this is in my opinion, thats where were weakest, if your rebuilding you should always start with the foundations with is your back 4.

Johnson to his credit is a new player this year, hat off to him for maning up at last.

Ikeme - i like him, more comanding than Henners but one footed and no quite as good a shot stopper.

ward - great when on the attack, rubbish when on the back foot.

Zubar - same as ward although not as useful on attack, gets caught out to ofter, cant belive we didnt take 2.6 million for him when we had the chance.

Berra/stearman - both useless get rid.

Make of this what you will be it's actually the image of the 'super agent' Jorge Mendes whose clients include Mourinho and Ronaldo. If the account is genuine then this isn't Jorge Mendes so you have to ask yourself why FootyAgentKing his using his picture. {Ed011's Note - Interesting.

Come on folks, if this was a real agent, do you really think he'd risk the privacy of his clients by posting on tinternet ?

Wolves are looking at Chamakh at Arsenal. Marquee signing with a difference. Not loan, staight forward purchase.

Also looking at doing a deal for kenwyne jones again if stoke sign Owen.

Kenwyn Jones is very plausable actually. He fits in with the players Stale has already signed.

I hope Owen is a no go, he is not the owen who scored v argentina he's long gone. He's the owen who for his last 3 clubs has hardly played due to injury and is seen more at the racecourse and golf greens than the footy pitch. If he didnt want it bad enough at man u what makes you think he's going to give 100% at wolves. LEAVE WELL ALONE.

Crouch - i would love him at wolves but wont happen.

Keane - more likley due to the fact he would please the majority of fans but his wages would be a problem.


Im not even sure if there will be a top name signing to be honest, more likley 2 more unheard of's and a young lad from one of the top 6 teams i think

Peter crouch has another couple of years in him, he would get a hat full of goals in the championship, not young and hungry maybe but could help us get back in premiership at first attempt.... i could think of a lot worse strikers out there

Why would Stoke sell him? He is still at the centre of their attacking strategy based on the army plan of hopefully having a target on the end of a shell propelled over a great distance. Seriously, don't get it but happy to be proved wrong

Wouldn't cough up last season for Keane when need was greater. No way Crouch unless he has given up on England chances, Stoke pay most of his wages and even then what would anyone be gaining for the future? I would like to see something like the ?million punt on Rhodes+SEB if needs be . If Doyle goes then an established striker could be considered but not 1 towards the end of his career on mega money whose heart wouldn't be in it...unless it was Keane!

Crouch would be a brilliant signin! Seb isn't good enough! Let's get Crouch to play alongside Siggy!!

As a matter of interest ,how many players are we allowed to have on loan in the championship? Ed any idea? {Ed011's Note - I believe it's 5 the Championship, less in the Premier League. Someone will correct me.

5 on loan, in the prem i think its still 5 but you can only sign 2 from other premier league sides

In the prem its also 5, but only two domestic signings and 2 have to be under 21 if you have all 5 loans i think

Ed is it true we have signe rennes winger Razak Boukari {Ed011's Note - I heard it was meant to be announced today but to be honest it's gone mental recently in regards to rumours. I've heard from different people that we were signing Bakary Sako, Razak Boukari and stalling over Christian Bolanos (as Copenhagen want to utilise him in a game vs Lille in the Champions League). Also that we had a mystery marquee signing in the pipeline.
