According to The S*n, Allardyce is the man Fosun want. Hope it's true.

Hope your preparing yourself for boring get football.

My own professional opinion about Sam is really good. He and Shi have the ability to share a very long friendship. The Fosun management are push overs and it's actually big Sam who holds all the cards. He's like one of those people everything falls into place for and the Wolves situation is no different. It's hardly a now or never situation, so I wouldn't panic too much if he decides it's for later but I do sense a sort of inevitability about him advising people within Fosun.

27 Oct 2016 01:26:52
Being totally honest, I don't think Sam would like Mendes but the relationship between Shi and Sam couldn't be stronger. Infact Mendes didn't come from Shi at all and I know he would do things differently, i. e, give all the power back to the manager. Interesting one. Maybe Mendes has to leave first? Like I said, nothing is forever, not even those irritating agents.

27 Oct 2016 09:28:29
Bham Wolf tells us that Doughie Freedman has been hired, with the announcement on Monday. Personally I would be surprised if Wolves rushed into anything.

27 Oct 2016 10:20:41
Big Sam will bring a winning mentality to the team. I'd rather us win games playing decent football rather than passing teams off the park and losing.

27 Oct 2016 12:47:47
I do know a winning mentality isn't to bring freedman to wolves! A losing one is what it would be! 😂.

27 Oct 2016 12:58:05
I think that you are wrong about Fosun management Wavidsmith. They are not pushovers. They are utterly ruthless in my opinion which is why they quickly got rid of Zenga and Butti. If things don't go right this time round they may well review their links with Mendez but worryingly they may also call into question project Wolves. They have shareholders to answer to after all.

27 Oct 2016 14:29:33
Why look any further than Nigel Pearson.
Set Leicester up for last years title. Like him or not its hard to argue he's not got the qualifications.

27 Oct 2016 14:03:56
Can't see Sam and Mendes having a problem as they have a common agenda. Number one priority is lining their pockets.

27 Oct 2016 14:43:28
The problem (like I stated last night) is, and will be, Mendes. We've seen it today in the press with him recommending 2 European coaches. Jeff Shi actually shares exactly the same views as you and I but is getting overrun by him. It is such a pity 'cos Big Sam would have been installed by now and a very healthy relationship would be flourishing between them all. Unfortunately, it may take a few more years before the power is given back to the manager.

The most important thing is that Shi keeps gaining British contacts behind the scenes, like Sam, who he can go back to in future years. The contacts Shi makes here will be far stronger than those from the EU (from a personal perspective) . The Chinese share a very similar sense of humour to the British and are far happier working with us, as supposed to those from the EU. There is a massive contradiction in personalities at the moment and the key to football success is friendship and enjoying the business you're in - this then rubs off onto the players, etc. Just try and have patience until Shi puts his foot down on Mendes or any EU influences and starts working like a traditional chairman.

27 Oct 2016 15:35:52
You've actually answered your own question, Old Wulf. Ask yourself why they got rid of Zenga and Butti so quickly? It's basically because their argumentative mentality doesn't sit right with the Chinese. Calling Fosun or Shi 'ruthless' is laughable, although I perhaps wouldn't say this about Mendes.

Fosun need to start making contacts in the UK with people here who take things far less seriously, are far more forgiving and understand sense of humour. If you want to see the complete opposite to this, watch the interview on YouTube with Mendes. Hardly makes for a happy business having somebody that serious around you.

27 Oct 2016 16:49:53
Fine by me. Experienced achieving at this level more than anyone.

Still have a sneaking suspicion Rob Edwards will be given the job after we win the next couple of matches.

27 Oct 2016 21:43:23
Track record of gaining promotions and then keeping teams up. Answer big Sam. Can't believe this opinion isn't shared by more wolves fans.

26 Oct 2016 23:26:05
Hearing Alladyce has been approached but doesn't want until the end of the season. Yes, agentdave.

27 Oct 2016 01:30:58
That wouldn't be the reason. The only reason is the obvious one - he doesn't like being dictated to by an agent or the club being run like a circus.

27 Oct 2016 09:01:02
Which season? . He's greedy, and we can do better. Freedman we need like a hole in the head. Someone's having a laugh at our expense. If we need anyone it someone with Eddie Howes skills knowledge, integrity and age. Now that should be the sort of person we need. He won't leave Bournemouth, but who comes close to him? 😉.

27 Oct 2016 09:44:49
I think Tim sherwoood is the only way forward mate forget Sam he's trouble! Good manager but recent events have put a huge cloud over his head maybe ince can do a good job for us? Not sure at the minute where wolves are going?

27 Oct 2016 13:06:30
Villa fans will tell you Sherood was clueless and same goes for fans of Ince's clubs. Allardyce has best track record of English possibilities but some of our Championship rivals are faring well under new young European coaches. Difficult cal, but little point in going for poor manager just because of Wolves connection.

27 Oct 2016 16:51:07
If we're going to hold out for Sam then who will take charge for the next 6 months? It's either Rob Edwards or another journeyman like Zenga.

26 Oct 2016 23:19:50
Heard Alex Rae is intrested in the job if true I would definitely pair ince up as assistant, I can't see it being anyone we no much about again. Time will tell. If Edwards and sellers win next two games could be them until end of season you watch .

27 Oct 2016 07:33:35
Rose tinted spectacles.

27 Oct 2016 16:51:46
Agree about Edwards. But not enthusiastic about Rae.

26 Oct 2016 19:34:32
Just took another look now I've been able to sit down and get over the shock. I think it's a spoof account. thank god for that, I apologise for any panic caused.

26 Oct 2016 21:04:35
Big Sam the only option.

26 Oct 2016 22:23:21
I saw that and nearly wet myself lol.

26 Oct 2016 23:41:44
Pray for Sam! Experience is what we need.

26 Oct 2016 19:27:14
Seen a post on twitter, supposedly official wolves, Ince has been appointed interim boss. Jesus it goes from bad to worse at this club if that pans out to be true, god help us.

26 Oct 2016 18:59:05
Paul ince got the job appointed tomorow. 1 oclock.

26 Oct 2016 19:01:23
No chance.

26 Oct 2016 19:23:38
Ince has got it in his heart give him a try anything better than we am atm.

26 Oct 2016 19:25:30
Cor believe people on here believe me no English manager will be at wolves a foriegn manager will be in mandes will make sure of the.

26 Oct 2016 22:19:24
Been informed by someone close to club that Wolves keen on British manager. Big Sam will be to pricey.

26 Oct 2016 23:43:59
Welcome to the wolves page Davis.
Hope you hid your Tesco bag when you registered lol.

26 Oct 2016 08:58:33
Freedman has got the job.

Will be announced Monday.

Becareful what you wish for.

26 Oct 2016 09:08:16
Would be an absolute disaster and a ridiculous choice, never gelled with fans as a player poor record as a Manager just a very cheap option. Is this really the level that Fosun aspire to?

26 Oct 2016 09:23:17
Well he's 8/ 13 now with which implys he's nailed on. And the bookies don't often get it wrong!

26 Oct 2016 10:54:51
I hope for once bookies am wrong 25/ 1 Ince worth a punt if sun newspaper right.

26 Oct 2016 11:34:36
The Sun think Ince was sounded out before they sacked Zenga and is being sounded out now. Pearson, Sherwood and Freedman are the others. Talk about underwhelming! At least they got the nationality right, I suppose.

Obviously they won't pay 'big' Sam or Silva the 'big' money.

26 Oct 2016 11:41:33
I have nothing to substantiate this claim, but no way will it be Freedman. Fosun are investing heavily in this club to get to the Premiership and his managerial record has hardly set the world alight. Won't happen, they aren't that stupid. Personally I'm for Big Sam now Bruce has been snapped up, but I wouldn't be at all surprised it was another left field appointment. Maybe they should not bother with a manager at all and let the players take it in turns to pick the team.

26 Oct 2016 11:42:23
Vitor Pereira is the man.

26 Oct 2016 12:39:26
Friedman really will be Deano all over again. Really need someone with experience at achieving at this level. The usual names.

26 Oct 2016 12:43:33
Ince would potentially work as long as he keeps Edwards as his assistant and is allowed to bring in the players he wants, not Therwell and Mendes choices.

26 Oct 2016 12:46:50
The more left field the manager, the more money can be made by those at the top. Coincidence?

26 Oct 2016 13:39:09
Now we have these stars from overseas, we need someone who can manage them as well as our home grown talent. Sam must surely be the right man for the job. Friedman, Ince and Robinson, no, not really. I would rather have one of the Portuguese names than them. Can't see Hughton coming here. If we're going down that road we might start thinking Di Matteo, Poyet or even McCarthy. But I doubt we are.

26 Oct 2016 13:57:44
How do you know Freedman has 'got the job', and will be 'announced on Monday', Bhamwolf? I am the psychic one.

26 Oct 2016 14:15:42
So Westley freedmans managerial career has hardly set the world alight so he won't get the job.

Hmmmmmmm what about Zenga's career! He got the job.

26 Oct 2016 15:09:38
Oh yeah, good point Bhamwolf, I'm kind of hoping that they will learn from that one!

26 Oct 2016 15:36:24
"The more left field the manager, the more money can be made by those at the top. Coincidence? "

You really think they spend £30m to buy us, to make a little money betting on surprise appointments? Can I have some of whatever you're on?

26 Oct 2016 16:38:00
With butti going as well maybe they are having a rethink on the whole set up. The most important person at a football club is the manager. Get that right and back him to get on with his job, its not rocket science.

26 Oct 2016 21:02:27
Fosun want to interview Big Sam. They WILL pay his 'big' wages.

26 Oct 2016 21:21:20
Here comes the bs bout a revolt probly won't the old guard to train abit harder and they didn't won't to and if players drop points cus they don't like the manager should be ashamed of themselves must say some very shoddy defending.

26 Oct 2016 08:39:07
The S-n reporting were after Incey? Not even in the bettin on S-y bet? But nor was Walter till just before he was confirmed.
