Wolves manager Dean Saunders considering a loan move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given
Shay given is on ridiculous money per week we would t and would be stupid to pay any unless he's going to play him which I wouldn't why would he sit on the bench for us?
I find this highly unlikely. Especially as we have re-taken Marian Kello on trial again with a view to a free transfer.
Played for Hearts and has 3 caps for Slovakia.
And just to add-It's the same keeper offered a trial by Solbakken in the summer but was deemed not good enough. So quite why he would deemed good enough now I am unsure. It's hardly showing a lot of ambition is it?

Doubtful. tv news have just confirmed Marian Kello has joined on loan. Although I can't work out how as I thought he was a free agent.

The Darren Fergerson rumour below is correct, I have heard this one many times over the last 4 weeks and from some good sources. He has been learning his trade for a few years now and is becoming a good manager. With the right investment he will do a good Job for Wolves but success will not come overnight, he will be given 3 years, he will use the young prospects we have ie Batth, Dougherty, etc and bring in some more established but young players who have started to shine in the championship this season. This is not an estateagent rumour, this is from a reliable source.

Doubt that will happen if we are in League One and Peterborough stay up.
I'd get Ferguson just to get the Man United boys on loan.
Still have doubts about him, he failed at Preston when he was there for a short time and has constantly been in relegation battles with Peterborough. I think they even considered sacking him earlier in the season.
Lets get this season out the way first then we can start looking forwards.
Wish there were some rumours around Uwe Rosler at Brentford coming here. Constantly working with very restricted finances and regularly achieves play-off position. Play a lovely brand of football, just wonder if our club has the patience to make it happen. I'm sure he will be recognised by a bigger club, maybe Brighton if Poyet goes.
Agreed Jason, if no players are brought in I think Morgan is in the process of sellin up. If he was stayin sureley it's in his interest to keep us up as he would get more revenue from this league than Div 1. Poyet not going. At least, not to Reading who have just appointed Adkins. (FWIW I think it's a poor move by Reading. Adkins is not a relegation fighter, but he will likely get them promoted again next season so maybe that's their "insurance").
Agree with Rosler and Ferguson. I think he would come to us regardless of who goes down. Posh are spending as much as they ever will. Wolves' budget is much higher. I can't see Morgan going for another foreign manager. Not yet anyway. So Rosler not at all likely.
I can see us with Saunders at the end of the season and into the next. Then his fate will rest on the first 10 games or so.
But for the meantime,
Not signing anyone on loan has nothing to do with Morgan selling up.
This is a business, do you really think he will get value for money for a club in League One with a huge wage bill?
The fact that we can't sign anyone is do with our league position, the negative atmosphere around the club, but most importantly the incompetent, poor excuse of a manager we have. Premier League players will not want to play for him.

Can't see Morgan selling up for at least 2 years he has two more parachute payments to collect!5m each.
When we came down the parachute payment was 48 mil over 4 seasons, two lots of 16 followed by two lots of 8mil. So far we've had one lot of 16 mil. Paul Tamworth
