Saville set to sign for a 1million fee. Danny graham agent is trying to drum up interest in player by saying wolves am set to bid! Sunderland have not heard anything from wolves! We are set to miss out on bamford as reading is his main choice!

Sorry a loan move with a view to a 1 million pound fee t the end of it if wolves want to take it up.

Signed today 3 year deal with option of a further year. Thought to be around 1 million.

Hey I am a brentford fan

i think saville is a traitor because he should off come back to Brentford who gave him the opportunity to shine.

Wolves I hate you because you didn't let him go to the club that he was at last year and that is what should happen so when play you we will win so we get our own back on Saville

E&S reporting the move is permanent, not the loan which many of us expected.

Forget that last post by me, I thought I was replying to a George Saville thread.

Another piece of shrewd business by Jackett sweet left foot will add balance and trust me this boy can play.told you many times for once we got lucky with Jackett he is a mans man and definitely a man who has the respect of his players, never and I mean never enjoyed watchin my team play as much as I am doing now.keep the faith and embrace a great time for our club.

Jackiechan seems a quite bitter fan from Brentford

Haha the brentford fans comments are funny if your team didn't offer to buy him or offer him a decent wage why would he sign for you?

Thanks so much jackiechan257 for giving me a good laugh, very funny post :)

Now that we know Saville is in, assuming he's given the chance to play do we think he will replace Edwards or Evans in the midfield? He is said to be an attacking mid but he could be a good compliment to KMac and take shots from distance.

Thoughts?

Hard to say who he will replace, assuming he goes straight into the starting 11. I guess Evans would be many people's weakest link but he is a very good weakest link. With Rowe and Price also wanting to play in the middle we have a nice problem on our hands.

On a related question, if we don't sign a striker, and Dicko is injured say, would we play Clarke at the start, or Macca, or would we push Rajiv or maybe Edwards forward?

I would hope he will replace Edwards. Playing hm alongside K.Mac will make a really powerful midfield combination.

Hi Jackiechan - what was the score at Griffin Park?

Can't see him playing this weekend unless he comes on as a sub at the end but I think he'll be an attacking midfielder to work with Edwards and be his replacement long term.

Saying that Jacobs does well there? And with Rowe coming back Evans and price it's a tricky one to call I well be interesting anyway great options in cm

We really do just need a goal scorer to play along side and compliment dickos pace. He's a great talent but I can't see him get 15-20 goals this season but we never know. Either way he needs some more competition and a player in to take some pressure off and offer something different

Euroman I think Kenny would bring in an ermergency loan if Dicko were to get injured and McAlinden was out on loan or he'd play ibrahim Keita or Bradley Reid or maybe Jacobs as a striker!

Agree I don't think well be getting a striker, telling Clarke to up his game as the search drags on.

If that's so surely we knew about a striker for over 4 weeks now surely we would have more targets than bam ford and wood?!

We do have striking options for sure, but none are as good as Dicko, and Dicko is not your classic CF (like Balotelli at Liverpool, Van Persie/Hernandez at ManU, Drogba/Torres at Chelsea). I know that's why we signed Clarke, and I guess Macca is bit more like a classic CF than Dicko but these two aren't promotion-challenging players. Yes, we have other youngsters yet to break into the first team and we still have Doyle and Siggy. SEB is available too. I quite like the idea of trying Jacobs up front but I can't see Kenny doing that. He doesn't seem to like players out of their best position! (although Golbourne covered for Sako for a couple of games).
