news just in costa is sold cavaliero is very close to being sold so don't expect to see them again any time soon on a plus note this should mean plenty of money for the manager to spend on championship quality players onwards and upwards COYW.

26 Apr 2017 18:14:27
News just in? Can I ask from where?

26 Apr 2017 18:15:12
Personally I think someone like Marco Silva would attract better player options for us at the club. Simple as that. Just my option and have been consistent with it for months. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰.

26 Apr 2017 18:24:03
JasM, lambert is a good manager, we need a very good one with potential to be great. Just my opinion. Marco Silva fits that bill. We have to make tough devious as a club and move forward. That would be moving forward in my world is all I'm saying. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰.

26 Apr 2017 19:00:45
Sorry to b negative but unless there is radical change in the team we won't b going up next season at first I thought we need 4/ 5 signings but we really need 6/ 7 gk 2 CB cm 2 strikers and possibly fb our home form has been abysmal no consistency and the attitude of some players against teams below us hasn't been good enough how can we play really well in some games and dire in others it wouldn't surprise me if fosun give pl the sack at the end of season.

26 Apr 2017 19:44:31
Billy wright's slippers, I really heavily doubt both our best players are going, in this season.

26 Apr 2017 19:46:01
Silva would be a great fit for us but if it is to be Lambert we seriously need 7-8 first teamers. Out of our current senior players I'd keep Marshall, Saiss, Hause, Ikeme, maybe Iorfa and Dicko. Mason and JDB not too sure. Bath, Stears, Doc, Edwards, Price, Evans, Lonergan can all go imo.
The team requires a RADICAL overhaul if Costa and Cav do go.
Andi Weimann at 1.5 million is probably worth the risk.
The last 3 games have shown we are way off challenging next season and whilst we do have some talented kids, they are only kids.
Graham and Zyro need to wait and see.

26 Apr 2017 20:17:15
There's gladon John saville and Silvio to go on the list the prince and E banks landell to come back from loans I agree try our utmost to get marco silva seems very well organised and can motivate the team can attract players as well.

26 Apr 2017 20:31:09
all I can say is very reliable source guys but profits will be used to strengthen!

26 Apr 2017 22:07:12
Rumours are that Tammy Abraham and Tom Ince are on the verge of signing.

26 Apr 2017 23:10:37
Sako's just suffered a serious knee injury. Looks like he won't be coming home, then.

26 Apr 2017 23:11:29
All those who were against Sako coming home got their wish. Looks like he's somehow suffered the same injury as Graham, Zyro and Dicko.

26 Apr 2017 23:13:30
I think it may be a different Sako who's reptured his ACL. I hope so anyway.

26 Apr 2017 23:48:43
Really don't want Sako back if he can suffer a season ending injury whilst sitting on the bench. Wake up people. It was Mamadou SAKHO who was injured not Bakary SAKO.

26 Apr 2017 23:58:45
Yeah its the sakho from liverpool that got injured tonight.

27 Apr 2017 00:31:07
Not impressed with selling our best players! Total lack of ambition. We need quality throughout. That start at the top with the management and filters right through the trainers playing staff etc etc. If we are selling our best players this is definitely NOT good news. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ฅ.

27 Apr 2017 07:19:00
"All those against Sako coming home got their wish"

1. Home? Pretty sure he's from France not Wolverhampton?
2. Pretty sure I didn't see anybody on here wish Sako would get injured?
3. Not even the right Sako.

27 Apr 2017 10:04:32
Jas that would be great.

A forward 3 of Ince Abraham Graham sounds good.

We would just need 6 other players who could pass the ball on the ground to them.

I say 6 as I believe Marshall could play CM.

27 Apr 2017 09:54:38
Weimann is yet another rabbit in headlights just like Edwards and Bodvarsson. They all run and run but never quite get there! That's why Derby were happy to let him go and why we don't need him if we've any pretensions whatsoever to make a successful promotion challenge next season. We therefore need to set our sights much higher.

27 Apr 2017 11:37:01
Sorry, I heard Crystal Palace and the word 'Sako'. A tear even dropped onto my lap thinking about his poor leg and the dream over. Thankfully it was M Sako, so all is WELL. Sakoooooo.

27 Apr 2017 11:54:07
Spot on old wolf. I just thought it was me who thinks we can do better than Weimann. He is definitely not a winger or a 20 goal a season striker.

27 Apr 2017 13:48:25
us fans would like wol to sign 2 quality strikers but when we sign Weimann is he classed as a striker or versatile been played wide because the ones we hav bodvarsson dicko mason Weimann could only muster a meagre 12 goals roughly between them they do a lot of running but no but not much end product if Weimann is classed as a striker that's not good at all.

27 Apr 2017 14:00:42
Have to admit I don't think Weimann will get 20 goals, but we have nothing else to pick from seams to be the best of bad bunch, see Stearman wants to stay and if they give players like him and Saville contracts I will not be wasting my money watching players like them, sorry but with money Fosun have they need to get shut of those 2 plus a lot more eg Lonergan, Iorfa, Coady, Dicho, Bodvarson, Price, Bath, Wallace, Henry, Williamson on pay as you play contract, looks like you have a big job on your hands Lambert, because those mentioned although they will run all day they are not good enough and I forgot to mention Edwards he would be on subs bench until he offered more in midfield if he is capable of doing more which I honestly think not, but gives is all.

27 Apr 2017 15:41:57
It's not Bakary Sako that has injured ligaments. It's Mamadou Sakho the Palace defender. Same club and same surname but different spelling. Ex wolves Sako has not played enough matches to get injured. He never leaves the substitutes bench. Probably forgotten how to take his track suit off by now!

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he has barely made the bench due to injury, rather than never leaving the subs bench.}

27 Apr 2017 18:27:56
Dating back to last summer regarding the takeover nearly all of us thought that robin li was buying the club and lepetigui to b manager the Spanish journalist was saying that all along lepetigui kept saying on numerous occasions that he was turning down the Spain job cause he wanted to manage wol the takeover dragged on for so long in the it was fosun took over was it just coincidence that lepettigue took the Spain job on the Thursday and fosun took over on the Friday would he have taken the managers job at wol if robin li had taken over does make me wonder.

27 Apr 2017 18:30:59
Sorry to correct you Ed but he's only missed 5 games this season through injury. He has been on the bench a lot but only made 7 appearances and most of those have been for last 10 mins.
He was injured a lot last season but as I said only one fairly short lived injury in 2016/ 17 season. He was sitting on the bench once again watching last night.

{Ed001's Note - he has missed 9 games at least through injury counting the League Cup, but you are right, I forgot about the African Nations being the reason he missed another chunk of games, just looked at the amount he was missing. There were seven matches he wasn't listed as injured but left out of the squad, I was told they were niggles at the time that saw him left out. That is sixteen matches out, I would consider that a lot personally.

I don't know where you got your stats from but they are wrong.}

27 Apr 2017 18:33:54
Correction. He was injured at start of season for 5 games too but still only a small amount of matches compared to the amount of times he has sat on the bench.

27 Apr 2017 22:21:45
Info from Bakary Sako injury profile on transfermarkt. I don't want to get bogged down with stats but suffice to say he has spent a significant amount of time sat on his backside in the last year or so!

26 Apr 2017 11:53:37
Can't fathom what Lambert is doing now safety has been secured. He keeps switching the same old faces. O. K. he has given Gibbs-White a chance but that is about all. Is he giving the rest a Testimonial before they go in the summer? Very strange selections the last two games in my view. Two defeats and no goals - again. And suddenly Silvio! He must have had long enough rest to draw sufficient energy to lace his boots.

26 Apr 2017 16:36:15
It's weird isn't it. I suppose he's trying to try the team out with different players, who's brown? He was on the bench last night.

26 Apr 2017 17:10:10
We now need to step it up with a top quality manager at the helm. PL is good but we need to go to the next level at the top. Marco Silva please. All out, go for him. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜‰.

26 Apr 2017 17:25:35
This is an honest opinion of what I think we need to do going forward. A big shake up top down, starting with a new leader at the helm who can attract quality players and move us into PL. that person in my opinion would be Marco Silva. His contract at Hull is until the end of this season. Just try and get him! With a please on the end of the request. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰.

26 Apr 2017 17:47:58
I agree with your choice Coast they can but try but from Shi has said in his interview stability and continuity seem to prevail so don't go getting your hopes up.

26 Apr 2017 20:34:50
I wish I had a pound coin for every time Wolvescoast has said "Marco Silva"

26 Apr 2017 21:51:31
Hull staying up and silva not coming get over it its dragging on now bk lambert and the player's he brings in.

27 Apr 2017 10:04:45
Marco Silva was Fosun's second choice after the Spanish national team manager pulled out last summer. Instead, for some reason, we got the playboy Walter Zenga. When that didn't work we got Misery Guts Lambert. So, we are now on Fosun's 4th head coach, or 5th if you include Jackett, who was briefly in the job. Let's stick with Misery Guts, give him a decent chance.

26 Apr 2017 00:00:35
Why not bring Sak back? Where's the good reason. sorry we can't be too picky were desperate. very dull and boring team. with a manager who makes excuses for his players whilst giving them a hug. time to get real. new manager this bloke will be worst than zenga with millions to spend.

then the money will stop and we will be back to square 1.the same as after the solbakkon days. all because not 1 person in the board has got a clue. transfer list bodvarsson first year in English football lol. is the net smaller in England? Transfer list dicko. he's had enough time to get fit it's not like football is his part time job he's got 5 days a week yo get fit. pearson please. .

26 Apr 2017 07:13:47
Why do people want Lambert out. Remember that he is working with the same squad as Zenga bar the 2 players he signed. What will getting rid of him achieve when he and everyone knows that this squad ain't good enough. He's already identified the players he wants so now it up to the board to get them in.

26 Apr 2017 08:01:35
I just don't think the fans are going to take to him jas we need a manager the fans can relate to someone who we can all get behind someone who will tell them cowards to man up and fight someone who knows what real pressure is someone who will tell Mendes and Thelwell to f off someone who is a born winner who doesn't take any mess from anyone fosun go and get us ROY KEANE. Just my opinion guys don't all shout at once.

26 Apr 2017 08:41:12
Hahahaha Roy Keane?

I've heard it all now. Lambert needs to be given 3 transfer windows. It already sounds like he has told fosun and therwell exactly what he expects in the summer.

Messi would be rubbish in this squad because we got no spine. If after the summer and we still haven't strengthened our full backs and spine then maybe it's time to get on their backs but until then let's just wait and see.

26 Apr 2017 09:05:58
Now we are in La La Land!
Roy Keane . really?
Yes he is good at being a bully and shouting at people how the he'll do fans get behind a FAILED manager?

26 Apr 2017 09:17:29
Another Lambert out moaner whoever is in charge at this point of the season you would be wanting him out too. Relax it's all about the summer getting quality in and shipping out the league 1 deadwood he has the right pedigree to get us out of the league as others have identified he needs more transfer windows the club has learned a lot so no managerial change is good for us.

26 Apr 2017 09:27:04
Roy Keane and Pearson. LOL.

26 Apr 2017 09:43:07
We want Lambert out because he doesn't understand the meaning of the word motivation! He has not got a clue. We know the squad isn't good enough but put the best 11 out in their correct positions and get them to play football instead of this dire crap we're seeing now. Next season will be another wasted with him in charge. After Weimann and Marshall I would not trust him with a penny, he'll just bring more average crap in. Think he can sell the club to proven quality players we need, ha ha more chance of knitting fog! Get him out ASAP and give someone else the summer to assess the squad, get rid of the dross like Saville and lonergan etc and get quality in. New gk, cb, creative mf and at least one 20 goal striker. It ain't hard for a new guy to see this. Please Fosun get rid of him.

26 Apr 2017 11:51:14
I have posted this elsewhere, so just repeating, but very important for me.
We keep focusing on new players in, but first I would suggest we hire an inspirational Head Of Football. I would spend big bucks bringing in the best we could afford. Let him completely re-structure the Football Department with top specialists brought in to:

1. Support Lambert in the transfer market

2. Introduce the latest leading-edge tactical and coaching methods

3. Provide latest thinking on Fitness training and management of injuries

4. Focus on diet

5. Bring on the Development teams, including Academy

6. Create a world-wide Scouting set-up to find the right talent

Once in place THEN spend on players.

Sorry if that means another season of mediocrity, but we would reap the rewards from there on.

The odd better player signed here and there will just keep our heads above water. Most who post on the different site all recognise we have hardly got the core of a top side. Current squad, maybe 4/ 5. That is out of 30ish on the books!

26 Apr 2017 11:48:33
We all have our own ideas how the club should be run and who should be in charge. But I think the majority want Lambert out? Hope Fosun agree?

26 Apr 2017 10:30:43
But what would you say if he produced another Christian Benteke out of the bag. Let him shape the squad as he wants it before passing judgment. If not, every manager we ever have will have the same excuse, ie: They weren't my choice of players and I didn't have enough time to make the changes needed.

26 Apr 2017 13:49:31
Basically Jas with his team selections and tactics or lack of them! He's taking the piss out of us the fans!

26 Apr 2017 14:38:24
Have you supported any manager we have had Paul?

I know you wanted KJ, WZ and now PL.

Give the poor guy a chance.

I doubt Mourinho would have done much better than this dross.

Save judgement till Xmas.

I agree that team selection and constantly selecting players like Saville and Edwards has enoyed me too but I do like wiemann and Marshall and think they will be much better when we have players that can pass them the ball or create space.

Players are to blame not Lambert.

26 Apr 2017 14:49:34
Save judgement till Christmas? Waste another season when it's obvious this guy hasn't a scooby? Hope Fosun aren't blinkered like some on here. I liked Dave Jones but Sir Jack didn't give him the financial backing needed when we were promoted.

26 Apr 2017 15:54:37
Haha thought you were going to say Stan Cullis.

I wanted Big Sam but Lambert was best available at the time.

I'm looking forward to next season with a new team and new plans to help build the atmosphere.

I hope they sack the PA guy. Wtf does he keep playing Elvis before KO?

26 Apr 2017 16:08:55
Out of Pearson, Sherwood and Lambert he probably was the best choice, but now it's the end of season, managers will be available of a higher standard. I'm saying why stick with corn beef when steak is available?

26 Apr 2017 22:04:44
Lambert was the best of a bad bunch. That bunch ain't going to deliver the success that the owners want, even if they think so. We have to recruit a TOP LEVEL manager, pay him a ยฃ20 million bonus for getting us promoted whilst actually winning some home games.
MARCO SILVA๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡นโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿฅ…๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†—๐Ÿบ

poorl lambert ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ†˜โฌ‡๏ธ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿš–.
