{Ed011's Note - Judging by the range of names being linked with our First Team Coach job, I wouldn't be surprised if Lord Lucan got it in the end.

A painful place to get it I would think

All the Happy Clappers who come on hear wake up and smell the coffee 0-6-total and absolute disgrace hopefully all the fans who were stupid enough to pay the money to go and watch that-will be reimbursed-but don't hold your breath. Davis-useless Stearman-garbage Zubar-pathetic-Hunt-a waste of space.
Stolbakken-OUT!

Morgan-OUT!

Moxey-OUT!

Foreign consortium with money and ambition please !

{Ed011's Note - I'm sitting in a pub in London with my Wolves shirt on laughing at this utter rubbish. My word if you say something like that you don't deserve to share in the good times when they do start coming. WE PLAYED A WEAK TEAM TONIGHT AGAINST A TEAM WHO ARE TOP OF THE PREM AND WON THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST YEAR - The fans going including myself should've known that, Ståle even said we would. It was a bad performance but the result was a formality. Solbakken wouldn't have wanted to stay in the cup we just had 3 games in the league in 6 days and won them all the whole season will be like that and the cups will just be an exhausting waste of time.

I've been warned not to swear in the past and I'll hold to that but how can you say we don't have ambition, it's a little bit idiotic to say that, we wouldn't have brought in a manager with Champions League history and ambitions if we had none, he wouldn't have come to a club happy to dawdle in the Championship too, we'd have settled for another McCarthy or Curbishley, (no offence to either of them) if that wasn't true. Tonight was always going to be irrelevant, we want to be top 10 in the premier league in 5 years with Solbakken and getting to the next round of the "Capital One" cup this year wouldn't benefit that.

Have a little patience in Solbakken, he's sorting us out but Rome wasn't built in a day.

What a wally first poster you had the score as 0-6 - says it all - switched off from rest of your bizarre post after that.Tonight's result tells us nothing about our first team at all (other than they all had a rest!) bring on Saturday - lets get back to business.

The first post must be an Albion fan surely, if not then he must have been sitting by his computer waiting for a defeat so he could pour out this negative , moaning drivel ......
For your sake I hope you live in Sandwell mate , either way you are one sad person

Went to the game and thought Davis played well. We all knew what was going to happen once they announced such a strong side.

It was our reserves v 85% of their 1st team!!

Still embarrassing don't get me wrong but anyone who knows true picture will get it!

Chelsea's team tonight would have beaten our 1st team too so provided we win Saturday it was worth resting them!

Seem to remember losing the same scoreline to Southampton??Come on..Its the bloody SIMOD cup or whatever it's called these days..We've just won three on the bounce. And got another three coming up..Yeah,we got leathered by a three quarter strength Chelsea..Get a grip...

Well said ed , have a safe trip home . Tamworth wolf

He has to be trolling from Sandwell. No Wolves fan with half an ounce of intelligence would write such drivel on here. Go infest your own teams fan site! In fact come back in May and have a chat then!

Awesome response Ed!!

Dont really have any patience for any Wolves fan who took the trip to chelsea then comes back moaning we got beat 6-0

Reason for this, because Stale anounced the team ages ago so there would be no doubht as to who what sort of side we were going to field.

We got beat by the champions of Europe while playing the likes of Torres & Hazard.... what did you exactly expect eh ?

Stale knew with the talent on offer at chelsea he could of played our strongest first team and still got hammered.

Why did'nt he play our strongest team ?

Answer: Because were on a winning streak and good form in the league so why risk the morale come crashing down for a two bit cup that we stand very little chance of winning anyway. SIMPLE.

Now we have our strongest side rested ready to rack up more point against weaker teams than them ! ! ! ! !

Mills Wolf :)

If you can't swear ed, how about if I say the original post was complete and utter rollocks!!! ...everyone knew the weakened side would most probaly lose to Chelsea's first team, and calling for stale's, moxey's and Morgan's sacking and asking for foreign owners/sugar daddies to come in is just ridiculous!

I don't think he is a baggie, maybe just a young fan who has no patience and expects us to be top of the premier league in 3 years time.

Who cares about the result?

Zeli got a run out so i'm happy XD {Ed011's Note - Could've done with more than 8minutes in my opinion, I'd have put him on closer to half time, wouldn't have changed the result.

Based on what?? as Zeli played a full game for our U21's a few weeks ago against Chelsea and they also got thrashed and he looked very average then.

Woteva Trevor so it was all Zelis fault get behind the kids give ir stick to the overrated de Vries Ubar Stearman n Edwards good thing was Egbert didn't make the reserves squad.

Torres = 50m
Mata = 27m
Hazard = 32m
109m on just those 3 players

18-man Wolves Capital One Cup team = 30m estimate*

*(unless Zeli is still being touted to be the first 100m player, not saying he couldn't be, but not just yet)

Whatever, but embarrasing

I live nr Exeter, Alex Inglethorpe very highly regarded when Exeter City boss. Good appointment IMHO
UTW

This is embarressing! 3-0 down already! Stale ur a good bloke. But a dodgy team selection 2nite.

Forget tonight, there were 10 changes! 3 points Saturday is far more important! The good thing out of this is that Stale now definately knows unless he can pick his first team every game then the rest of the squad is poor! Get in the loan market Stale. Paul Tamworth

Its Chelsea not Peterborough

What would you like him to do play the same players every 3 days??
League is what matters
Get a grip..

I don't mind - it's our reserves against their first team. I'd rather concentrate on the league!

Really our reserves 6 of the first team were playing premiership football last season so it wasnt really our reserves

Well we got lubed tonight chaps.

The same 6 that helped us get relegated {Ed011's Note - Is that De Vries, Stearman, Davis, Zubar, Hunt and Edwards? None of whom are first team at the moment now Solbakken has come in?

Get a grip? Dont tell me 2 get a grip pal. Glad ur plzd wiv the result person.. U aint gota take the flak off the plastic chelsea fans round here! I can take losing. But 6-0?! Think you need 2 get a grip. Happy clapper! {Ed011's Note - No, he's being a realist not a happy clapper. It was a cup game we weren't overly interested in. Focus on the league.

Wear your Wolves shirt with pride! And tell the Trophy hunters to get lost!! Paul Tamworth

Sorry Ed. Just angry m8. Im living in Northants. The plastic chelski fans round here get right up my nose! With there replica shirts they bought from the local J.D sports. Wouldnt mind but half of em have never been 2 a game. Anyway rant over n agree lets concentrate on the league. U.T.W's!

6 of the first team were playing premiership football last year...' Actually, no, this 6 were playing in the premiership, but rarely playing Premiership football!

Spurs Head of Youth, Alex Inglethorpe expected to be appointed as our new coach!

Media Wolf

He was exeter's manager when they drew 0-0 with Man U in the FA Cup

Media Wolf

He was, but that was it, he failed otherwise.

25 Sep 2012 11:30:39
{Ed011's Note - Hearing strong rumours of us being linked with Spurs Development coach Alex Inglethorpe as a possible first team coach. Inglethorpe is 40-years old so would slot into Solbakken's younger management team and his time with Spurs would hopefully strengthen our turn towards a quality footballing side.

Agreed, I haven't heard of him but he must have something about him to be with spurs. Hopefully be able to entice a decent couple of loans over the comin months. Paul Tamworth

This seems to be the word on the steet. Good news if true. A forward thinking, progressive coach, who comes from a side who are one of the most exciting in England to watch.

Good times chaps !!!

Ask Exeter fans what he was like!

Me last season = no way will we beat Chelsea.
Me this season = I think we could snatch a victory.
(optimistic)

TDW

We would have beat them if the ref had done his job and sent off Lampard, awful 2 footed tackle if i remember. He then popped up and scored the winner.

Hard to be sure given both teams will field unusual line-ups. But it's not unusual for top teams to fall when fielding their reserve 11.

Our youth side always beats there's. Heard they are gona play some of there youngsters. So you never knw.. Could be an upset on the cards.. Knowing our luck IF we beat them, we'll get Man Utd in next round..

at TDW, I hope you didn't put money on your prediction of wolves sneaking a victory lmao
