Deano has been given the green light to loan a striker he will be with us today or tommorow.
I agree in someways that he is out of his depth but I think the players are trying for him so i'm hopeful we can still stay up.
Desperately need that striker and we need some luck now too.
Stone Wolf
Really hope he can get a decent striker and we beat Watford! I honestly beleive that if we lose that game he will resign or be sacked! Paul Tamworth
Hope they do not sack dean! only 11 games will be left and we will be managerless for probably half if not all of them!
I said this yesterday, the player has been looking at rental apartments in Solihull.
Call me a cynic but I suspect that is this news of another loan player has only been released by Wolves to coincide with Morgan attending the Fans Parliment meeting Wednesday!
Fingers crossed Paul of Tamworth. One thing I agree with you on. :)
But I thought he was the man for the job Paul Tamworth? Remember. The futures bright the futures Deano! Yeh right!
Just remember you wished for this! Not the relegation dog fight I admit but what you wished for has brought this about! Maybe now you understand and appreciate what we could have had!
Paul you were one of the main voices against Solbakken and now you are turning against Saunders, who I agree is well out of his depth, do you think now that we made a big mistake sacking Solbakken and that he had the right ideas and may have turned things around given time.
Hednesford Wolf
Paul T, it would be strange if he did (resign) or get sacked but Wolves being Morgan you never know. As Watford are on on fire at the moment it is an almighty ask to turn our season around on this one. The balance of the season, 11 matches, is by no means as difficult as the Cardiff and Watford matches so maybe DS won't fall on his sword so soon. But he does need to get cracking.
If the striker loan doesn't materialise what about Ward up front with Cassidy, Siggy or Blake to play off him? None of the latter three can do it on their own or even in partnership with one another. Ideally we need a goal getter up front but in the absence of this a ball winner/big presence might work. just. wolfshead.
What we did wrong was appointing Solbakken in the first place! McCarthy should of gone 18 months earlier than he did, Connor should never of got the job! Bruce should of been appointed when McCarthy was sacked! I really want Deano to succeed for the sake of Wolves! But I agree for one reason or another things aren't workin and were runnin out of time! Deano has to get points on the board or the inebitable will happen and Deano will be gone! Paul Tamworth
I think the blame lies on the players and not the manger.
Paul T, you can blame Mick if you want (and I would disagree) but the fundamentals are that neither Morgan nor Moxey are up to the job as top management of Wolves. That's WWFC, the football club, by the way, not some personal money making vehicle as they appear to have made it. wolfshead.
Nicky Maynard will sign for wolves tomorrow/weds.
I'm not disagreeing about Morgan and Moxey but McCarthy will never be a Premiership manager as long as he's got a keyhole in his front door! Paul Tamworth
Maynards out for the season cruciate damage? Paul Tamworth
Is the striker we are looking at called Griffiths?
Nicky maynard out for rest of season with cruciate injury unless he has made miracle recovery
If Simon Church is the answer it must have been a silly question! He is not a premier league striker by any stretch of the imigination - possibly Championship but in this desperate situation we need SM to get out his fat wallet and throw some money at a decent striker for the last desperate games.
