Apparently we're signing Razak Boukari and Marcello Gazzola over the next couple of days.

These 2 will set the championship alight, lol, is this the best we can do

Marcello Garzolla has already signed for a Serie B team i dunno where you get your rumours from but this is what i hate about this page, people need to research before they make up BS clearly he's not gonna move now he's signed for a new club so stop with the BS! What has happened to society these days? Please let me know ASAP

I'm sorry we're not signing dull British nobodies with "experience of the Championship" who give interviews containing platitudes such as "this is the hardest league in the world to get out of".

Clearly yes this is the best we can do. you do realise we are in the championship and you never know they might set the championship alight

What a load of crap that was.
If i hear 1 more fan say that Forde or Davis are good players well im supporting a local small team from now on cos they are way out there depth.

Please dont mention forde or Davis again cos they are rubbish and if stale doesnt realise it well he can get his bags and sling his hook cos that is not good enough.

He will be sacked by Xmas if he dont wake up

Ridiculous comment! Davis wasn't bad in the Premier League at the end of last season. The whole Club is going through a massive transition period. Give them a bit of time for Christs sake!

Davis and Forde were playing today as we sold jarvis and lost henry to injury. The money has only been in the bank one day we will have new players.

Ward does nothing wrong! fed up of every one saying ward is not good enough but who would we get better that would actually come to us?

SteveBullStand - We badly needed Henry and another winger. Davis was terrible and there were not deliveries from the wings at all. Edwards hardly put any crosses and Davis just wasn't doing it. And for Forde , for player thats play on the wing , he couldn't put a cross like he isn't meant too. We would of been far better with Henry and a Actual winger.

I agree with this. Today's teamsheet is the worst we'll put out this season. We're still smarting from the loss of Jarvis and Fletcher. New signings to come in this week plus Henry back on Sunday. Onwards and upwards.

The performance was abysmal-Stolbakken has to explain the tactics-far
too negative-allowed Derby to pass us off the park. Stop talking about playing the kids, when they( Davis and Forde are not good enough-missed Henry-need a replacement for Jarvis quick.

Does anyone else think that todays team and tactics were Stale's way of showing the board that they need to spend. Because if I had been in his shoes I would have done the same. Show they where we need players. Even the subs were players he wants shot of so they were put on to show what back up he had and also as a shop door for them.
The Guy is intelligent and shrewd. He will come good we as supporters need to give him time.

I hearing boukair is going to sign within 1-3days time but is it going to be on loan or permently?

From wat i heard a while ago (wen the rumour came about) it wud be the same as peszko and doumbia a season long loan with a fee agreed if we wanted him permanently

{Ed011's Fulltime Review & Ratings - I agreed with the starting eleven. It wasn't Solbakken's fault that Davis played badly and pushing him out wide and bringing Edwards in and then bringing Forde on for Davis was right. However I cannot understand why Sigurdarson wasn't changed for Blake. Ebanks looked tired when he went in at halftime and should've gone off before 60 minutes, Sigurdarson had his shirt off like he was going to play but didn't come on. SEB isn't the type of forward who can chase and chase like Doyle, and with him on tired it was like playing with eleven men where Sigurdarson would've chased and livened up our attacking line. Instead he brought Elokobi on?! Was Edwards injured or something? Even then I'd have brought Jonsson on instead of Ward playing out of position. Then he took Doumbia off at the end who could've finished the game, for Jonsson so Blake played the full game? Unless he was trying to save Sigurdarson for our cup match I can't understand it.

The substitutions didn't strengthen us and the disjointed midfield invited Derby to attack while they just played it around an exhausted Ebanks-Blake. It's obvious we need more quality players, Margreitter has got a massive job ahead of him but I think we could have won that game with the players we had today, Solbakken's substitions seemed odd to me and weakened an already shaky side. I'd too have brought Forde on, but then at about 60 minutes I'd have brought Sigurdarson on for SEB and if he was injured I'd have just swapped Edwards for Jonsson.

I really have to question Solbakken's substitutions and with no explanation at the moment have to blame him for us losing 2 points. It's only the third game and we didn't lose, although it bloody well feels like it. I'll keep the faith though, Rome wasn't built in a day and we'll learn from our mistakes.

Ratings
Ikeme - 8.5 - Probably man of the match. He kept us in it for 90 odd minutes was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet.

Zubar -5.5 - Had some shaky moments. Was ok going forwards.

Berra - 5.0 - Wasn't shocking but isn't good enough.

Johnson - 8.0 - Another solid performance, maybe should've been captain, made tackle after tackle and played well.

Ward - 6.0 - Not a bad performance, made some key tackles and pushed forward ok.

Edwards - 6.5 - Did ok, better when he was moved in centre mid.

Davis - 4.5 - Absent in the middle, was right to be moved out of the middle then taken off.

Doumbia - 7.5 - Another strong game, tackled strongly and was creative, missed having Henry next to him.

Peszko - 6.5 - Tackled well, faded towards the end but played a part in all of the action.

Ebanks-B - 5.0 - Did ok in the first half, should've scored at one point but was clearly tired in the second and should've been subbed off, was exhausted and couldn't chase the ball or keep up with play by 75 minutes.

Doyle - 7.5 - Played well, good goal and gave 100% for the whole 90 minutes when he had to do all the running up front. All the creative play up front seemed to be through him.

I thought berra played better than a 5 today probs 6or 7, for me edwards looked tierd by the end but played well , totally agree with davis , i think dombia was looking tierd by the end as well but bringing ward into centre was wrong but he didnt have many options

Pass side wards pass side wards pass backwards you shoot, no you shoot, no you shoot!! No presence up front and ran out if ideas! Certainly not a spectacle

Tongo pulled hamstring, cud see him signalling to bench to come off way before he was subbed, missed Henry today

It was a point gained we were awful!! Roll on the new signings!!

I think the reason we drew today was because of two terrible decision by stale to bringing jonnson on and then putting ward in centre mid, any team that has them two in midfield deserve nothing, I was hoping this guy knew about football, I now have my doubts.....

I suppose the people who disagreed with this comment think that eggert jonnson and Stephen ward are the answer in centre mid, god help us!

{Ed011's Halftime Review - We're a goal up but it's been nervy to say the least. Derby have pressured us well and perhaps have been unlucky. Ikeme has been first class the whole half as has Roger Johnson, both have kept us in it to be honest. Davies hasn't gotten in to it, he just hasn't linked well with Doumbia and at one point Solbakken swapped him and Edwards who's playing wide mainly to get him out the midfield; we've seriously missed Henry.

Doumbia has played well, went off with a bloody nose for part of the half. Peszko hasn't seemed as good on the right but we've been under a lot of pressure so he hasn't had loads to do. Ebanks has been quiet, hasn't linked well with the rest, Doyle is looking more like his old self, good goal and I'd like to see him with Sigurdarson soon.

So far to reiterate Ikeme and Johnson have been brilliant.

Commo adds Berra to that. Do you agree?

Why the hell cant we keep a lead ?? carp deffense again GET RID OF ALL BUY JOHNSON IN DEFFENCE !!!

{Ed011's Note - Tim Nash reporting that we're closing on a loan deal for Razak Boukari, Rennes winger who almost signed for West Ham last week.

He's a 25-year-old Togolese right winger, who can also play on the left. He should know Tongo Doumbia from their time together at Rennes. From what I read Razak is a different type of player to Jarvis in both good and bad ways but he should tear apart Championship full-backs. Whereas Jarvis will stand a full-back up and relentlessly put in good crosses, Boukari will charge towards the full-back and usually having him backing into his own 6 yard box.

Sounds promising Ed, I've never heard of him though that said in current circumstances I can't say I'm surprised! Would you say he's better than Jarvis in the way he plays?

{Ed011's Note - I think we'll be impressed with him like the rest of Solbakken's signings but I think I'd have rather Jarvis to be brutally honest, Jarvis only really had one or two tricks on his wing but he was lethal at them and it seemed at one point when he was faced with a defender he'd either get a goal, assist, penalty or corner, still Razak will probably suit the style of play Ståle is trying to create more than Jarvo with us now playing with less emphasis on the wings.

Gary Neville was speaking about playing at right back against a modern top club's tactics before a game on Sky not long ago and it's got me thinking that it is similar to what Solbakken is trying to create. The wingers, who'll now be Razak and Peszko, will be more willing to push inside and it'll pull the full backs up on to the wings, or they'll attack more on the break away rather that what we used to do with it used to be just get it out on the wing and swing in as many crosses until we score. We'll be more patient with our passing and look for gaps to exploit in the oppositions defense with one-twos.

Also, sorry to steal this post, but another thing I was impressed with and who other mates I've spoken with were impressed with was how Tony Daley was warming up the subs before they went on against Barnsley rather then just sending them down the line to do some half-arsed jogging and to chat with the opposition's subs. We got them a bit more fired up before the game and whether it affected anything or not it seemed like a bit of forward thinking.

I can't wait for the game now!! Will try to do another ratings thing but the signal at the Molineux is awful!! COME ON THE WOLVES!!

Watched and blown away ! Can't wait. He has real pace,attacks the full- back inside and out and scores goals.
