Bakary Sako is set to decide if he wants to renew his contract at Wolves or move on in the next few weeks.

Its up to wolves if he moves on, not the player, who is still under contract

No, in 12 months its sakos choice as the contract runs out. The 1st poster didn't say when sako could leave

Point is if he opts to sign contract extension now he stays, if he doesn't then we will sell him because we will get a fee with 12 months of his present contract left. Makes sense for all concerned. Obviously we will put an improved extension contract on the table which probably has built in clause related to us gaining promotion this year and release clause for reduced figure if we don't Would love him to commit but couldn't call which way it will go. If this is the scenario it's good management if not then maybe it should be.

He won't leave wolves now

And you know this as you are is agent. No one knows outside the club as what will happen, more than likely he will stay and see how Wolves are doing up to Jan window

Its sakos choice in 12 MONTHS - the answer the there. He is a wolves player for 12 MONTHS. Bit daft of the original poster to state the obvious. SHOCKER - any player with a contract considering options!?

Why let a player with fee potential run down his contract. Makes sense to force the issue as it protects our asset. If he chooses not to sign then we can choose to sell if any offer is forthcoming.

Tbh I can see sako been offered a new contract if he don't leave in the summer plus we only get half of his price now he has only 12 months left but what I have heard is that Norwich were intrested in him replacing snodgrass if he leaves Norwich but like I say we only get half of sakos asking price now he has only 12 months left plus he's only 25k a week

Sako will go if prem. Side come in for him, if not will stay

I hope Sako chooses to stay but if he leaves I wish him well. He's not been a bad player for us.

Can't see Sako going to Norwich as Wolves have stated many times he will only move to a Premier team or he will stay. But money as always speaks loudest.

We turned down - what was it? - £3.5m last summer and we're trying to give him another deal. He will cost somebody a lot of money if they want him.

What wolves should do Imo to agree to sign a further year and have a max clause of. 3 million if we fail to get promotion next season. Thoughts?
