Ed, clarify that mick has gone! I know for a fact that he is no longer in charge but am non the wiser as to why the statement that I know has already been prepared has not hit the press yet!
I don't like being slated for passing on theftruth so please confirm?

Bore off, someone in the "know" wouldnt make such a fuss about been believed or not.

I've been told genuinely he's gone. My source isn't close enough to say exact distances down the line wolves are with transfers etc but I get info such as targets and contact. I.e why I posted about the contact made with jones at stoke. I couldn't post more because it would have been false. But m assured there was a meeting that took place and McCarthy is no longer in his post. I'm gutted that some people feel the need to rubbish me but tbh I expected the statement first thing this morning!

Express and Star article from 11:00 saying that despite Internet rumours McCarthy isn't going to be fired. Any news Wolvesinsider? I don't think he's going.

I'm still apprehensive about sacking Mick without a sure replacement that I'm certain could deliver to mid-table security in the premier league. what ever happens Wolves until I die and thank you Super Mick McCarthy for all he has done for the club in the last five years and maybe more, we would be no where near where we are now without him and he has been our first consistently successful manager in a long long time.

That won't be enough to calm the fans baying for management change or is Maynard really good enough to save us from relegation? Surely a defender should be a priority?
I just feel that WWFC has no direction anymore? The excitement of the stadium and of the progression up the league has evaporated - instead I have this feeling that all is not well behind the scenes and that the club is actively seeking those parachute payments?!

Wolves do need a defender but they need to have a bit of pace and skill up front. I'd much rather see them sign a new striker then a defender. Imagine what will happen if fletcher gets injured, who exactly will score up front? Get rid of fatty ebanks-Blake and Doyle and get some young fast strikers in.

Blake is yet to proove himself as mad mick wont give him a chance but we should say doyle...

Hi ed any news from the wolves today then about mick being sacked hope this ain't a joke he should of gone last year cheers pal {Ed001's Note - nothing mate, I have no idea what is happening there. Whether Morgan slept on it and changed his mind or what has happened I really don't know. Mind I remember it taking a long time for Hodgson's sacking to be confirmed, so it is possible that it is just taking a while. The key thing would be if Mick is taking training or not right now? There will be a good indication about this rumour after 12 today, if E&S havnt bothered with much of a story for the early addition then they might be waiting to get details for the later adition.

Personally i think they have agreed with Mick if he left not he's walked on his own account nor been booted out as Mick is not quitter.

But i also think they wont anounce it till later in the week despite it already being agreed by both parties.
