Steve Morgan is taking the club off the market. He is also planning to put in an extra investment. You've heard it here first.

22 Jan 2016 19:34:05
Think a new CEO maybe on the cards too.
Morgan will be re-structuring and bringing in his own man.

22 Jan 2016 19:38:22
Come on loyal supporters let's all move forward, he may have shortcomings and threw his toys out of the pram, but, if he turns us around, invests and moves us forward I for one would be more pleased than some foreign investor who sees us as just another sports club, Let us see what transpires but it doesn't surprise me.

22 Jan 2016 19:48:06
Just heard Moxey's signed an embryo from new cross maternity hope it's a boy one for the future.

22 Jan 2016 20:00:00
Realist what percentage do u give it as fact and not fiction?

22 Jan 2016 20:15:56
Morgan ain't the problem he never was, Moxey was always the problem and always will be while he's at the club.

22 Jan 2016 20:31:35
How fickle you all are! The only reason you are changing your tune is that no-one else wants the club so let's take the best, worst option.
I really hope I'm wrong but if it's more of the same Morgan and Moxey then I fear the worst.

22 Jan 2016 20:40:18
Paul I give you what am I told as 100 per cent.
Nothing I have shared has been wrong.

22 Jan 2016 20:44:10
Mike Ashley has started to suddenly splash the cash at Newcastle so its not impossible.

22 Jan 2016 20:50:48
More investment, get in a new CEO, I'm all for that. As many have said Stoke have gone from strength to strength since Moxey went!

22 Jan 2016 20:51:54
Thanks Realist appreciated.

22 Jan 2016 21:07:20
Any idea what the timescale is when these events will take place? I'm guessing before the Early Bird offer?

22 Jan 2016 21:38:57
If Morgan were to come back and announce that he's going to have a more serious approach to competing in this league and upstairs from here on out, I don't think anyone would have a problem really. As long as Jez is shown the door of course.

22 Jan 2016 21:39:06
I totally back Morgans decision if he does take us off the market. It's all these fans who hurl abuse at him in the car park that should be ashamed. He has invested more than enough and yes we all would love more investment but under KJ it's not worth investing as he isn't the man to take this club forward.

22 Jan 2016 21:42:16
Morgan investing o look a pig flying next to the unicorns believe it when I see it why hasn't he spent the afobe money just another story.

22 Jan 2016 21:45:49
For the first time in ages, I actually feel at least slightly hopeful that things may change for the better at Molineux. If the message is true that SM will invest in the club again AND get rid of Moxey then I can imagine good times finally returning to my beloved Wolves. COYW!

22 Jan 2016 22:24:55
I think most would agree Moxey is the main problem, but if it is true then JACKETT has to go as well as he is only a mediocre championship manager and as a Wolves fan I want more than championship mediocracy.

22 Jan 2016 22:48:16
If this is credible and Morgan plans investment can anyone explain why two weeks ago he sold his best player?

22 Jan 2016 23:10:34
What an absolute load of rubbish. the club is still for sale and will be until it is sold. Morgan has no interest in getting back in the hotseat 110% fact.

22 Jan 2016 23:30:19
You will know within the next week or so if Morgan intends to remain as owner by any transfer activity, I would suggest this is just a rumor and in fact the real reason for not selling is that no one is interested in the club, let's face it a mediocre championship side with a half built stadium with dwindling attendances stuck in one of the most depressing areas of the country is hardly a major selling point is it. As for blaming Moxey he is only Morgan's mouth piece, he may have been able to rule the roost with sir Jack but not A hard nosed business man like Morgan.

23 Jan 2016 09:59:52
If Morgan is going to do an about-turn that's probably not surprising. He can't get a big-money buyer in, and it seems there's only Moxey's consortium in the running. Rather then sell to Moxey, Morgan might be better advised to re-invest, and do it properly this time. Will he though? We'll probably know soon, as it will mean extra transfer activity.

23 Jan 2016 10:05:38
Get real people additional investment, new CEO, calling on loyal fans to get behind these two is a complete joke!
There is the money from Afobe sake, he won't get rid of the pie man as he does as he is told and as long as he does that he c runs the club as he sees fit.
Asking loyal fans to get behind then is like a slap in the face, l will not give them another penny until it's crystal clear that we are moving forward. Blind loyalty is what they want so they can carry on the way they want which so far has been a disaster for v the club.

22 Jan 2016 11:49:47
Talkin to a mate this morning who knows people who work at the club & they seem sure moxey has gotten the money together to mount a takeover off the club.
No idea on who's helped him to amass such a substantional amount of £'s but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest slippery old bugger is Mr. Moxey

22 Jan 2016 12:10:55
If this true club will not have another penny off me.

22 Jan 2016 12:50:47
Absolute rubbish, I know person at the club in a very prominent job. They have no idea what's going on.

22 Jan 2016 13:13:56
Moxey was always in the running if he could put a consortium together. My guess is that Morgan tried for an external mega-money buyer, ultimately without success. Moxey's consortium now has a chance, to bid, probably for the lowest price Morgan would accept. It's not great news. We will probably replace one "careful" owner with another. We are not going to be the new Man City.

22 Jan 2016 13:14:45
lol

I know someone who drives past Molineux every day and he says its poppy cock.

22 Jan 2016 14:33:46
I have heard this as well about Moxey and from what I can make out it's always been the likely outcome.

Despite what people may have read there have been no offers just interest which has now cooled.

I have heard Morgan will sell to Moxey for round about £18m the Afobe sale has dropped the price considerably.

22 Jan 2016 15:15:29
I don't know about legally but surely morally its repugnant for someone involved in the sale of the business to then be one of the people buying the business. Has the smell of a con all over it. One more thought if we thought it was bad with JM running the club it will only get worse if he owns it instead.

22 Jan 2016 15:16:53
The amount moxey paid himself from the wolves coffers surprised needs consortium could buy club outright with what he skimmed off top wolves income each year.

22 Jan 2016 15:31:43
Moxey is increasingly looking like the most likley new owner to me.He has manouvered himself into prime position & the main concern would be who is the money the back of him.

22 Jan 2016 16:18:20
If Moxey has a consortium, and it buys the club, it's legally OK. Is it morally repugnant? It happens all the time in business, it's generally called a management buy-out. The Yanks might call it an MBO. Make of that what you will. If Morgan wants out and Moxey is the only buyer in town, it's inevitable. If Moxey's intention is to buy the club and asset-strip it (selling off land etc) to get his purchase money back, that would be morally dubious, and could ultimately leave Wolves in a much weakened state. I don't think Morgan would agree to such a sale; after all, he seems to want to leave a legacy at Wolves.

22 Jan 2016 16:39:06
If Moxey was to buy the club the first thing he should do is to bring in a decent CEO. The last one who has been here for far too long has been a waste of tme.

22 Jan 2016 21:35:26
Is moxey already asset stripping the club of its most valuable players to curry favour with morgan?
If he pushes the kids through and they do well does he think it puts him in prime position to buy at a knockdown price?
