Was speaking to a mate in Stafford who goes to alot of reserve games and speaks to some of the staff. Latest rumours are that Morgan will part company with SS amicably because of a poor start, unasnwered questions and a very poor relationship with several senior players who are highly regarded by the club?? Before anybody slates me for this it is only what i was told and this is a Rumour site.

Think we should be sounding out DI Matteo, see how the land lies I surfaced the rumours in August from two very good sources within the club.and told you all he wouldn't survive til Xmas you all remember?

Yes because someone with that sort of role knows the way SM's mind works. Either that or SM feels the need to tell him? Mate pull the other one rumour or not, no chairman is that much of a person.

TDW

Do hope you are right

I wish people would lay off SS! I think he is a quality individual who, has unfortunately inherited a load overrated, underperforming clowns! Once he has made a few more signings we will see the blokes true team; be it good or bad. We gave McCarthy time so, lets all pull together and get behind SS!

The senior players are rubbish tho as if half the team its not the manager its the rubbish he has to work with we need a new team apart from a selcet view

For Gods sake give the bloke some bloody TIME, moan moan moan. P.J.

Ok so lets pretend shall we that stale had not come as manager. Take away the new signings and take away all the ones we sold. What are you left with???

That's right a totally inadequate squad!

Stale has come in and brought in some quality signings I expect more to come in jan.

As a club we always are quiet regards transfer activity, so before you all right off stale for god sake give him a break and get behind him.

3 of his signings are injured one was brought as one for the future and one was a occonor signing. You lot of moaners won't be satisfied until you drive stale out. You should be careful of what you wish for!

In fact I can't wait for stale to turn things round just like RJ has this year. I wonder Paul from tamworth mills wolf if you we're booing him last year, I suspect you were!!

Get behind the team and manager still early days god help we ever have a director like chelsea have!!

The players bought in by SS on the whole look to be great additions. He's got a plan, he's got a style of play. Given time it will come good. Very good.

One I never boo our team and two I love Wolves but how can u mention us and Chelsea in the same sentence? We're 16th in championship and their 3rd in Premiership! McCarthy should of been sacked after r great escape when McCleish kept us up not McCarthy and Connor should never of got the job! As for Stale he was obviously the cheap option, no one else came in for him! He made a mess of cologne and as for Copenhagen, McCarthy could go there and win the title! Wake up his tactics or lack of them will empty Molineux! He will not last the season! Paul Tamworth

Stating to doubt myself now perhaps I am thinking my club are bigger than 16th in the championship and that we should be happy with our progress this season,we concede two goals per game and have only scored 3once and that was to earn a draw.yet to see my team put in a decent performance, but we are in transition, you all promise me it will be ok,so you have finally done it I'm officially a happy clapper.no more honest opinions no more insider stories,I'm off to bury my head in the sand buy a Redrow house n watch netball.see you all at the be scot as the master plan moves on.wolvesayewe.

Paul all i hear from you is moan moan moan.

Chelsea are owned by one of the worlds richest men. It's brought it's success with cash and RM runs his club with ruthless streak that I summise is similar to how he runs his business. Look at the talented people he has sacked in the last few years!

You clearly want to support a club for bragging rights rather than out of loyalty. To give mm 5 years in charge shows a sense of dignity and decorum in a game that shows little of these most basic traits.

I would rather support a club like wolves and the way that its been run over a club like Chelsea or city any day even if that means going back to the bottom division. I don't anticipate for one second we will.

It's time that you showed some of the same character you expect from our players and realise that this is a rebuilding year.

So all in All man up or shut up and god sake give stale and the team a chance.

Paul T, this post is spot on mate chillaxe mate things WILL come good. P.J.

Man up! U sound like your related to the 2 M's or good mates! To class me as a glory hunter, u haven't a clue! If I was I'd of supported Liverpool in the 80's them Man united from the 90's onwards! U r obvious quite happy watchin this rubbish and applauding the players off at the end of the game? That's if u go? We are rapidly goin downhill! This guy has got a 1 year rollin contract, that's the best bit of business the 2 M's have done! Stale should of brought a coach and number2 in that new the English leagues! Il be there Saturday CHEERING them on! Then il come on here and give my verdict! Paul Tamworth

Disagree Pj. Even with the players he's got the standard is goin backwards. Even with these players we should not be 16th in a crap league. Respect your views Pj but at this moment in time we must agree to disagree. Paul Tamworth

Tired of Paul tamworth and mills wolf - always negative and moxey/Morgan/stale bashing. Come the first win, both will be jumping for joy and exalting the team . No consistency in your views!!!

If we win everyones happy
if we lose a few think its the end of the earth
how about looking at it in the middle somewhere

we lost 3 of our best players, who were the difference between winning and losing games, they were our match winners

give the manager a chance to bring in more players and get HIS team together

positivity breeds positivity, negativity is like a disease .....it spreads

I want Success for Wolves!! Get that in your heads!! Now tell me what I'm missing and there is to be positive about??? Paul Tamworth

Paul Tamworth and Mills Wolf just want Wolves to be successful like all of us I don't see it as negativity or moaning rather constructive critisism. I find the different opinions on here interesting and we're all entitled to them. I personally am far from happy and wondering how much time you can give a manager. His sigmings have been good quality but we are losing games and in relegation form. Perhaps swifter action previously would have kept us in the top flight. I really want SS to do well and see some nice football but currently I'm not sure we're going the right direction.

I think you'll find we all want success for our team

if you think there is nothing to be positive about then that says a lot

Tell me the positives?? Paul Tamworth

I didn't say nothing to be positive about did i? I said the sigmings have been good that is positive. I'm just not sure its working. Ultimately its about winning footiball matches.

Positivity breeds success - get that through your head Paul tamworth!!! How can the team try to better themselves/the current form if all they hear is your type of fans negativity all the time?! Stop bashing the club (ie the owner, moxey, stale) and SUPPORT through thick AND thin!

16th in a crap league, standard of football is goin backwards, players can't get their heads round this guys tactics, at home we play like we're the away side, no wins in 7, smaller crowds?? Give me the positives?? Paul Tamworth

Sako and Doumbia are the positives. As is the attempt to change the style of our play, if a manager who knew the English leagues and played a more direct style was in charge, no doubt we would be higher in the league and we would be happy, but that happiness would be very shortlived when we got back to the premiership. Swansea have shown other teams how to get into the premiership and stay up playing positive football, but even they finished 6th the year they went up - Their style was already less direct and much more patient, that couldn't win them the championship but their style was much more suited to the premiership. We have to go backwards before we go forwards... The fans at Cologne forced Solbakken out before the season finished, let's not do the same.

Also, Mccarthy would not win the league title with Copenhagen. He definately wouldn't get them into the Champions League for the first time in their history and make them the first Danish team to ever qualify for the Champions League group stages unlike a certain Mr. Solbakken...

I'm gettin bored of tellin u!! At matches I support the team and Stale as much as anyone!!! UNDERSTAND!!! On here I sound off with my opinion!! Get that in your Head!!!Paul Tamworth

Positives:-
financially sound so we can move forward and not crash
3 good new players brought in
confidence that SS will bring more good players in
A bit of tweaking will bring more wins
A manager that has a good credibility in the football world
Majority of supporters are not negative..thats positive

i'm so glad you are positive at games ... thats positive

How do u know McCarthy wouldn't?? How do u know Stale will get us promoted and we will stay there?? Just guessing and your opinion! I hope your right but at the moment it's a pipe dream! Paul Tamworth

I agree it is a pipe dream at the moment. But I don't think we need to sack Stale, that would be very very rash at this stage. And Mccarthy might win it, but his flash in the pan direct style relies too much on luck to get any kind of stability to win a top division. I'm not sayin Stale has that now at all, we are playing very poorly at the moment, but I personally think he has the right ideas. I am bitterly disappointed at the moment, but we shouldn't panic just yet.

hi ed just me again lol ,just been thinking if things got worse with stale they sacked him ,would you like di matteo at wolves now chelsea have sacked him ,but i still believe in stale ,jason

{Ed011's Note - Interesting question. First of all I'll say I don't necessarily "believe in Solbakken", perhaps with Mick I got behind him a bit too much regardless of the situation, I'm not going to do that with Solbakken. I just feel that Solbakken should get at least 2 years before we can get any real indication of how he'll succeed or fail as our manager and that he should be able to build his own squad, and I can definitely see encouraging signs in the team and I do think that he'll succeed if we give him the chance to.

I don't think Di Matteo's history at Sandwell Town would be any reason for us to not have him as our manager and I think that Wolves fans would embrace him if he was our manager. Unlike the Villa/Blues situation with Alex McLeish, I think RDM's situation would be different because I genuinely believe he's a good manager capable of getting a team to play good football, whether he'd come now he's added "Champions League winner 2011/12" to his CV is another matter.

'' In Stale i trust'' he must be given atleast 1more season after this one he has brought in quality players sako and doumbia and i really peszko signs for us he shouldnt cost over 2.5-3mil he would set the championship on fire with his pace and agility hope he signs for us ASAP! and hope he stays fit!

Moxey and certain players want Stale out? Up to Morgan. Watch this space.

Why would moxey want stale out? Has he asked for some money in January?

Thts rubbish about moxey wanting stale out where have you heard that! rubbish person fickle fans need patience yh everyone frustrated but you can see improments the onli reason its not fully workin is half are players are rubbish and cant adapt cz there not good enough with time and backing hell take us up guranteed

Well said I think he will take us up to the Prem if he's backed by the board and the fans including the none stop MOANERS. PJ.

Sack Stale and his men Bring in Di Matteo and his men, they did wonderful job at WBA!!!

That's the problem, how much does he need and will he be backed? IMO I think we need two strikers, one big, one quick, a playmaking midfielder and two defenders. But these 5 players need to be quality. I don't think it will happen and Stales style will not work as he won't have his kind of player to implement it. I don't think he will last the season and by march all his supporters will be fed up of the negative play. Just my opinion, time will tell. Paul Tamworth

Would you back him with your money,it was a gamble and it hasn't worked trust me Morgan will go two ways here it will be we've spent enough we should be in better shape or he will give stale a war chest to back his trust in him.but a word of caution I've had it on good authority frimpongs non arrival was a financial issue.

Ye cause WOLVES have financial difficulties! Give over we will never have financial worries with Moxey around!

Why wud di matteo come to wolves ur not going to get a top class manager if we cnt even get frimpong how we going to attract a champions league manger !! if stale does gt saked whihc i hope he doesnt its more change! were not going to gt a quick fix thing takes time

Senior players 'not happy' with Stale. Which senior players here before Stale would you want to build the future around. I personally can't think of anyone who offers better foundation for the future than those that Stale has introduced. would much rather see us build a team around those who can adapt to a progressive passing game which I am sad to say none of those, presently fit, from the past regime are capable of doing. Stale is stuck with too many players who haven't got the ability to play one touch football and therefore move the ball quickly and accurately. All of the 'senior players' take two three touches to control the ball by which time they are closed down and have to pass sideways or back. Please enlighten me if I've got this wrong because I cannot think of one of them who do not fit. Shift them out and get in some footballers

I know we've talked this one to death, but if Frimpong's non-arrival was down to a financial issue, that could have been an inability to agree terms or some technical financial issue - rather than affordability. Yeh, I know, before someone says it - so how the hell did Charlton do it? Roll on January, it's going to be interesting to say the least.

Paul Tamworth, agree with you about the strikers, midfield and defenders, but as you know won't happen in one window. If Cassidy is quick who would we get that's big as we don't have same on our books. Would you be happy with O'Hara and Frimp to boost midfield? Just like to see what the defence would be like if midfield in particular and the strikers get their act together. I'd nearly be tempted to hold them to season's end then seriously restructure. Wolfshead.

Wolfshead I'd be very happy with Frimpong and Ohara, look at Huddersfield with Beckford and Vaughan, far more potent than our double act. Can't beleive he hasn't gone in loan market especially with 24 points up for grabs before the window opens. Paul Tamworth

Not sure big strikers are the way forward, would rather have two quick goalscorers.

21 Nov 2012 07:14:54
i ed any news on that striker, wolves were after that tim matazv, from psv or was that more rumors ,we defo need a striker even kenwyne jones ,would be a good loan ,wolvsforlife .jason {Ed011's Note - I was really hoping something would happen with Tim Matavz, so far it's only been rumours to be honest, it was in the Daily Mail but that by no means makes it official haha. Completely agree that we need a striker.

Why don't we try to get Luciano becchio from Leeds, knows this league can find the net,and always gets a stack of goals ..so fairly consistent.
Flash of gold

How i wish we had a owner like him at chelski their manager won fa cup champ league now sacked thats a owner that cares unlike morgan

Ebanks Blake going to ipswitch for 500,000 in January wolves not agreeing to take up new deal

SEB needs to go! His heart is not in the club anymore and he needs a new challenge. Maybe McCarthy will give him that chance in January?
We need a new Striker who has an eye for goal and would be able to play at the Top level if/when we make it back. Only problem is getting a good enough player to start with us in the Championship - easier said than done!
