Wolves ‏@OfficialWolves · 4m4 minutes ago

Full details of the takeover to follow. Jeff Shi from Fosun and Jez Moxey are set to attend a press conference on Monday.

21 Jul 2016 15:25:57
Morgan open letter on wolves website states they have agreed to invest 20 to 30 million in the next two years. So much for that 35 million signing lol. Not going to be the spending spree everyone was predicting.

21 Jul 2016 15:32:09
The manager we were going to get as gone to another club.

21 Jul 2016 15:32:39
Note does not sound encouraging at all.
But Mixer is going after 3 months.

21 Jul 2016 15:43:59
Shafted again. £20-£30 million over 2 years! Back to looking for cheap players from Div 1. The dream was nice whilst it lasted. £10mil a year won't buy 2 decent players these days.

21 Jul 2016 15:44:34
Everyone should be happy now. Morgan and Moxey gone so they can't be the scapegoat any more. The new Billionaire owner who has agreed to spend the same as Morgan did will soon be getting abuse by some fans. Promotion will not happen as the big money everyone thought is not available. Hopefully I'm wrong and investment is made but at this stage it seems that the grass is certainly not greener on the other side.

21 Jul 2016 15:58:39
The 20-30 million was a guarantee, you can be sure a lot more will be invested, say what you like about Morgan but he did leave us in safe hands and got the guarantee of at least 20-30million to be invested into Wolves.
The takeover is done the ones who wanted Morgan gone have got their wish, the ones wanting grubby Moxey gone are getting their wish, it's a new era at Wolves onwards and upwards.

21 Jul 2016 16:02:47
Just don't know what fans expect the ink hasn't dried on the contract and you have already started to complain what was they meant to say that they are going to spend a £100 million this season and put the price up on all transfers, let's just hold judgement for a few weeks when we shall know how they are going to play it and how much has been spent.

21 Jul 2016 16:04:48
Let's just wait for Fosun group to make their announcement. The 20-30m investment may be in the infrastructure of the club to secure it's long term future. We have no idea if this is the funds to buy players.

21 Jul 2016 16:06:10
You're right Jas. Feel totally deflated. Would appear Morgan chose these over R Li.? Obviously in the best interests of the club!
Looks like Ulf may have been right.

21 Jul 2016 16:07:00
At least the ownership change is clear.
Feeling a little apprehensive, as no plans for the future declared yet.
I guess we have to wait until Monday.

21 Jul 2016 16:07:48
seriously I can't believe what I am reading, we haven't even heard the new owners speak yet your all moaning, they aren't going to announce that we are going to spend 100 million straight off the bat, clubs would just double the prices on transfers, let's wait to see who the new manager will be and what type of players we will be buying before judging, miserable lot u are :)

21 Jul 2016 16:11:11
Back to earth with a mighty crash. So, so disappointed. We are a million miles off the pace. To cap it all we can only assume Jackett is staying.

21 Jul 2016 16:11:14
Great news, at long last we all know. But two things, the manager we all thought we were gong to get isn't. Second what's happened to the super-agent Jorge Mendes link?

21 Jul 2016 16:17:15
George, whilst I agree with your point re transfer prices going up etc etc., surely you must feel somewhat let down to what 'might have been' ie R Li and all the (apparent) promises that came with it. The Man City owners - with whom we were hoping to rub shoulders, didn't try to sneak in via the back door. which is what we're appearing to do now. Such statements as £20 mil over 2 years won't get us interest from a manager with any ambition.

21 Jul 2016 16:18:25
We will have a new manager, the 20-30 mil is minimum, they can't advertise money no object. This is a great day for Wolverhampton Wanderers, watch the season tickets fly out now! 👍.

21 Jul 2016 16:18:50
20-30 million at championship level is fantastic. People are forgetting that we are in the second tier of English football and will not chuck money at any price tag as we cannot attract the talent which is expressed in the premier league. If Wolves are to remain financially sound and out of debt, the new owners will have to spend their money wisely. Look at it this way, Steve Morgan invested a small amount of money to the squad (no more than 6 million) during the 2013/ 14 and 2014/ 2015 season and as a result we got promoted and were 1 point shy from reaching the play offs the following season. Now we have at least 10-15 million to play with this season which means we have a chance to upgrade the necessary positions in the squad which most need improvement. The people who thought we were going to spend 10ml+ on players are simply deluded. The only way to get out of the championship is to invest in young, hungry and talented players while also not making the club bankrupt (which would likely happen if we did invest big) .

I do agree Jackett needs to be relieved and a new manager imposed in order for us to achieve promotion as it is just as much about tactics as it is money and Jackett I'm afraid has not got the tactical awareness for the game (as he has demonstrated last season with his poor decisions) .

21 Jul 2016 16:30:27
It doesn't literally mean 20-30 million only will be invested in the next 3 years, it's just a guarantee that they will definitely invest that amount. Nothing has changed, it's just a back up.

I still presume the big transfers and managers will start soon. If not. panic.

21 Jul 2016 16:31:44
Wasn't it not blatantly obvious that Lopetegui becoming manager was a deal that would of happened if Robin Li bought the club like Guillem Balague stated in his tweets, he never mentioned about Fosun at all, and we only found out about Fosun a few days ago.

21 Jul 2016 16:34:12
But why are we deluded? We were told (or expected! ) we were being took over by a bloke twice as rich as Abromovic, Spanish Manager, 5 multi million pound signings, so where does going bankrupt sit with that?
I've gone from excitement to pessimism very rapidly. Hope I'm proved wrong, but this isn't why I've hardly slept for 2 weeks and checked my phone every 5 mins!

21 Jul 2016 16:39:31
ffs get real give the new owners a chance, they have stated they want us in the premiership thay have proven the have the finances (£918 million profit last year alone ) they will have a plan for wolves going forward but will also have to be careful of the financial fair play rules, let's get behind the team and the new regime fwaw.

21 Jul 2016 16:48:20
You could throw 100 million at it and not guarantee promotion, we need a decent manager who doesn't pick his favourites week in week out but picks the best team for the opponent. we should all be happy to have finally got rid of Morgan and moxey but it's not even been 2 hours since it was confirmed at already people are moaning. Let's see what the new owners have to say and what their plan is before slating them.

21 Jul 2016 16:49:26
Why are so many people bitching? We asked for investment and now wet going to get a MINiMUM of 20-30 mil over the next 2 years that's a lot more than the last 2. Can't wait for the press conference on Monday.
Gotta laugh though 5 new players at press conference and all kinds of people saying it was Li and it was an UK consortium. Who's going to be first to name their so called insiders and make em look stupid?

21 Jul 2016 17:00:22
Poz a lot of it was just rumours, there was never any promises of huge investment, 15 million pounds players, everyone just got carried away and started dreaming of being the next man city, I am not deflated at all, i'm the opposite this is a wonderful day for our club. I for one believe Robin Li was never interested in the club and it was only Guillems tweets that ever said this. We should embrace the news and look forwward to the new Wolves :)

21 Jul 2016 17:34:29
After days of reading al the optimistic posts the idiom "careful what you wish for" springs to mind. OK, so he's only the 17th richest man in China but he will still do a job for the Wolves.

21 Jul 2016 17:41:26
Sad day for a wolves fan. top manager takes the spain job. no tiki taki footy back to kaki kaki.

21 Jul 2016 17:45:35
For God's sake everyone moaning on here. If you had been offered this at the end of last season you would have all been jumping up and down. Only Wolves could gain billionaire owners fanfared in to the backdrop of moaning. Lighten up and enjoy it.

21 Jul 2016 17:54:51
What we have to look at is: Jorge Mendes will be involved in recruitment at some capacity (reported on BBC sport) , he will provide young and up coming stars at a nominal fee to show them off in English football, when they get noticed his agency and Fosum (who own a minority share in his agency) will make a fortune. Fine by me if we have the new Ronaldo or Messi for a year, then make massive returns which can be re-invested without the owners having to spend out of their own pocket. Trust me this could work out to be the best thing that ever happened to our great club.

21 Jul 2016 17:59:23
This is what our new owner has said. Jeff Shi, a key player behind Wolverhampton Wanderers' new owners Fosun International, has promised to take the club back into the Premier League.
And his representative, Jeff Shi, who led the negotiations on behalf of Guangchang, thanked former owner Steve Morgan and departing chief executive Jez Moxey for their time at the club.
And he was also keen to paint today’s developments as the dawn of a new era.
“We would also like to thank the hugely loyal and passionate Wolves supporters, and all the Club staff, for their patience whilst our discussions were ongoing.
Confirmation of the buy-out by Chinese billionaire .
“We hope they will be pleased with, and supportive of, our exciting plans for Wolves.
“Football is enjoying a huge growth in China and, of course, is England’s national sport. As part of our strategy, it makes perfect sense to buy a great Football Club.
“Our goal is crystal clear: we will do our very best to help take Wolves back to the Premier League as soon as possible and to stay there.
“We believe the Club and the fans belong at the top of English football and getting there is our first and top priority.
“However, we will continue to develop and enhance Wolves Academy and to create more and more young talent for the first team and to keep it as one of the very best in football.
“We also understand the importance of the Club’s role within Wolverhampton and the surrounding communities and that is something we are determined to continue.
“We are fully aware that achieving success for Wolves will not be easy. It will take hard work, resources, determination and togetherness.
“We will work with everyone who supports Wolves to help create a bright future for this great Club.
“We can’t wait to get started on the exciting times ahead and look forward to a long and ultimately successful ownership of Wolves. ”.

21 Jul 2016 18:00:51
It's wise saying you've got 20-30 mil to spend that way other clubs won't suddenly over value our targets like they would if you say you've got 50 mil to spend!

21 Jul 2016 18:09:45
I think this is brilliant news today, the ownership issue is settled. We all want to be in the Premier League and our new owners share that goal and are fully-resourced to make our dreams come true. We have all been getting carried away about signing this star and that star but when you look at today's reality it is very good. Let's offer our full support to our new owners 😀.

21 Jul 2016 18:11:26
How does RKO know we are in safe hands?

21 Jul 2016 18:16:12
What about the talk of us being a feeder club for Portuguese talent, that tends to mean loan deals, meaning we get the players without the transfer fees, so whatever is left out of that 20-30 million can be invested in buying players.

Not saying I believe this, just a thought though.

21 Jul 2016 19:19:44
Presumably due to the financial rules of the league, there's no way we could have signed £20m players on huge wages anyway?

21 Jul 2016 17:15:46
People seem to be getting hung up on the 20 - 30 million pounds undertaking in two years. Steve Morgan will, I believe, have insisted upon this as a written contractual obligation, to ensure some stability going forward.

I don't believe for one minute that the above sums will reflect what will actually be spent. Its simply a minimum guaranteed sum.

If these guys have aspirations of getting Wolves to the Premier League quickly, and staying there (as they say they do), they will have weighed up the cost of doing so at length, and with the help of many advisors. Jorge Mendez is very closley linked to Fosun (as we all know) so I'm sure Fosun are going into this with there eyes wide open.

As we all know there are very rich pickings in the Premier league, and I believe that Fosun will spend whatever is necessary to get us there

So let's hope so.

UTW.

21 Jul 2016 17:24:37
Really happy Fosun have taken wolves over, 24.5million a day they make, i'm sure 100% sure fosun will make wolves one of the richest clubs in the world, Another growing company wich has made billions in a very short time in finacial terms.
The investment made with the club 20-30 million is a smoke screen come on :) we should be very very happy.

What I like about this is that in the business world growth rate was looked at, its in 1 word outstanding. The fosun 5 and with mendes on board these are taking it very serious get your money on wolves for promotion.

21 Jul 2016 17:25:01
What is it, 2 - 3 weeks before the season proper starts, and we've either got no manager, or one nobody trusts to get us out of this league (not upwards anyway), a squad thread bare and a massive £10mil or similar it appears to bring us up to competition standard. After all the hype, and I accept most of it was that, I find its hard to be excited - which is what I was dreaming of. being excited about my team! If any of you went to the likes of Bolton at home last season, or the 2nd half v Leeds. I never want to endure that again.
Like you say, got to wait and see, but I'm not getting the vibe that they are going to spend big to get us out of this division. We need millions just to save us from relegation.

Really hope they restart the redevelopment of the ground.

Would be great to see that finished.

Will be interesting to see which manager we go for.

Exciting few weeks coming up with seeing the type of transfer targets we go for.

Great news

Can't wait for the season to begin and see a packed out Mol.

21 Jul 2016 19:53:25
So much negativity at such an exciting time for Wolves. To those who disagree, you're wrong and time will tell To those with ITK sources, what happened? I never saw as much as a Chinese whisper about the actual new owners from any of you. To our editor of this blog, I don't know how you managed to restrain yourself at some of the posters in this site.

Great time to be a Wolves supporter.

21 Jul 2016 20:04:32
POZ I think you need to wind your neck in. when have Wolves ever spent 20-30 million in 2 seasons? I read this as being extra spend I tip of our earnings so in fact it could be 40-50 million over 2 years. You just need to enjoy this we are now the 3rd richest club in the world and growing.

21 Jul 2016 20:08:04
Does anybody know who will replace Moxey or if there will be a director of football? Graham Taylor would be a good choice, if so.

21 Jul 2016 20:08:37
"Our goal is crystal clear: we will do our very best to help take Wolves back to the Premier League as soon as possible and to stay there. We believe the Club and the fans belong at the top of English football and getting there is our first and top priority".
Fosun

What they say and what Morgan say are 2 different things. It what they say that matters now. Fingers crossed Monday will reveal great excitement! 👍.

21 Jul 2016 21:16:43
we ain't going to spend no money because Poz got a vibe, we are doomed!

21 Jul 2016 22:27:35
we'll if I was a pumped up round ball, bouncing about full of excitement I've been punctured and gone flat the winds gone I don't bounce just go splat . O h we'll that's it no ambition is the message if I was a player why go to wolves poor wages and no prospects, the lights have gone out back into the darkness,

21 Jul 2016 22:27:57
Article on sky sports website comparing our new owners to Villa's. Basically saying in 10yrs time with the owner we have we will be in a better position to what villa will be. let's all get begin the new owners and whichever manager it is be it Jackett or whoever.

21 Jul 2016 22:54:25
Look if I ain't in a position to say Barcelona ain't anything special in 18 months, then this take over has failed, ya get where I'm coming from.

21 Jul 2016 22:59:00
Pigeon do me a favour get back in your dark box. You sound like the numpties who sat behind me for years always knew best but never kicked a ball in their life let alone manage or run a club. We are envied by almost all clubs in the championship if not some in the premier league so jog on and go down to Warsaw and listen to the traffic on the M6.

21 Jul 2016 14:56:57
Law firm Squire Patton Boggs has confirmed that Chinese conglomerate Fosun International have completed their takeover of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The lawyers have been working on behalf of Steve Morgan in negotiating the sale, having previously managed Aston Villa's takeover by another Chinese investment company, Recon Group.

"We are delighted to act once again for a leading, and historic, football club on a major cross-border investment, " said David Hull, partner at Squire Patton Boggs.

21 Jul 2016 16:38:11
The new owners want the Premier league as soon as possible and they know it will take more than 20-30m to do it, forget what Morgan said he's outta here and he's taking his c**k with him.

We should see a good 5 players of better quality than we have now joining by the start of the season

We can start dreaming.

21 Jul 2016 18:13:26
How do you know the new owners want the premier a sap. Gold finger? And where did you hear about the 5 new players?

21 Jul 2016 21:27:23
That's pretty much stating the obvious there!
How good is our team at the moment, how many players do we need (about 10-15)?
Cmon saying 5 is me being kind, I'm already enjoying the moment and I'm already dreaming of better times ahead.

This is the richest our club as ever been in like forever and some are still not happy

Of course we are going to get at least 5 players, of course the new owners are going to spend more than £30m in 2 years

Wake up, smell the coffee, we've struck fing gold

Enjoy the ride.

21 Jul 2016 21:28:39
They said in their statement that they want the Premiwr league status ASAP and who the hell wouldn't lmao.

21 Jul 2016 23:14:01
Have a look who is buying half of gestifute . The same guy that's just brought wolves.

21 Jul 2016 15:25:08

See what I mean about people posting 'Jackett sacked later today'. The way things are going, we will be giving him a new 5 year contract!

That said, Kenny with ££££ to spend just scares me. He can start with the most obvious one, bring Sako back NOW.

21 Jul 2016 14:10:57
I think we should ho for McLaren.

21 Jul 2016 14:16:03

21 Jul 2016 14:59:36
YOU'RE RIGHT. Julen Lopetegui confirmed as Spain manager

goo.gl/eylkhK

21 Jul 2016 14:32:20
Roberto Martinez could work with the Spanish / Portuguese players that have been lined up to move to Wolves (assuming these guys are still coming) and his teams play attractive football.

21 Jul 2016 14:33:01
I did say last week that Jacket would still be in charge .

21 Jul 2016 15:21:03
Moxey is going, statement on wolves website .

Fosun will currently have a football club board consisting of four people. Mr Jeff Shi, who led the negotiations on behalf of Fosun, will become the Club’s representative, alongside him will be Mr Sky Sun. Local businessmen and Wolves fans John Bowater and John Gough will also continue to serve as non-executive board members.

After being heavily involved in the sale of the Club to new owners, Chief Executive, Jez Moxey, has decided now is the right time to step down after 16 years’ of service to Wolves. However, Jez will remain in his role for up to three months to ensure a smooth transition. Wolves have begun the search for a new Chief Executive.

Also stepping down from the Wolves Board will be Ashley Lewis, Bridgemere Group’s Finance Director, who joined the Board when Steve Morgan resigned as Wolves Chairman in 2015.

Jez will be attending a press conference with Jeff Shi, WolvesFosun representative, on Monday, 25th July, 2016.

“We are delighted to have completed the deal to become the new owners of such a famous and historic club as Wolves, ” said Jeff Shi.

“We owe a great debt of gratitude to Steve Morgan for taking such good care of the Club and for placing his trust in us to become the new custodians of Wolves. During our conversations Steve’s great passion and vision for the Club and Wolverhampton was very clear and we feel privileged to pick up the baton from him.

“And also to Jez Moxey for his tremendous contribution to Wolves. We are sad to see him leave, but after 16 years of loyal service we understand why he has chosen this moment as the right time to move on and we wish him well.

“We would also like to thank the hugely loyal and passionate Wolves supporters, and all the Club staff, for their patience whilst our discussions were ongoing. We hope they will be pleased with, and supportive of, our exciting plans for Wolves.

We believe the Club and the fans belong at the top of English football and getting there is our first and top priority.

“However, we will continue to develop and enhance Wolves Academy and to create more and more young talent for the first team and to keep it as one of the very best in football. We also understand the importance of the Club’s role within Wolverhampton and the surrounding communities and that is something we are determined to continue.

“We are fully aware that achieving success for Wolves will not be easy. It will take hard work, resources, determination and togetherness. We will work with everyone who supports Wolves to help create a bright future for this great Club.

“We can’t wait to get started on the exciting times ahead and look forward to a long and ultimately successful ownership of Wolves. ”.

21 Jul 2016 15:22:58
Whilst i'm pleased obviously, I haven't got that over the moon feeling I would have had with R Li and Lopetigui taking over. All unravelling a bit. At the moment we've got new owners and it appears Moxey has gone, but who's going to be the manager? We keep being told re new signings, but how would anyone sign without knowing who manager is going to be? Style of football etc.?

21 Jul 2016 16:09:18
In fact its more than unravelling. £20 million to spend over 2 years! That ain't even 2 half decent players let alone the signings we were allegedly linked with. Looks like good old Morgan has stuck the knife in again and made sure we don't progress beyond mediocrity.

21 Jul 2016 12:53:24
spoke to wolves fan who I saw speak to one of wolves staff. wolves fan said the wolves staff member has said it has been rubber stamped and that we have signed a 35million pound player.
although I spoke to bloke who works for club said he does not know when press conference is going to be.
he said nobody is telling them anything. this bloke who I was talking to was the bloke who spoke to wolves fan.
I am only passing on what I had heard.

21 Jul 2016 13:25:24
Gee whiz . that's nice and vague. "spoke to wolves fan who I saw speak to one of wolves staff. wolves fan said the wolves staff member has said it has been rubber stamped and that we have signed a 35million pound player. " Has this staff member ever heard of financial fair play rule (s)? #ITK.

21 Jul 2016 13:44:17
There is no way a player worth 35 million is going to be playing in the championship! Did you bump into this guy coming out the pub gee wolf? Did he have a funny walk?

21 Jul 2016 13:46:52
Even the BBC News have reported sale gone through and had reporter broadcast from outside Molineux.

21 Jul 2016 13:49:19
Hasnt the fair play rule been delayed. don't think we going to play fair and I love it.

21 Jul 2016 13:50:17
I've spoken to a bloke, who knows this chap, who's lad work with a staff member's uncle's cousin's boyfriend's dad's nan. I was told that the deal has gone through and has definitely cost more than his bus fare to town. #ITK.

21 Jul 2016 13:50:33
loptegui confirmed as spain boss sky sports news.

21 Jul 2016 13:58:41
Yep more drama it seems will kenny be staying?

21 Jul 2016 14:00:34
Didn't see that one coming! Jackett staying then?

21 Jul 2016 14:04:30
As bull as this is, I wish people would stop mentioning the Financial Fair Play Rules. They're nothing to a rich club. The fine is like 5 million pounds, but getting promoted is worth 150 million. You do the math.

21 Jul 2016 12:37:31
Jackett has left according to the Birmingham Mail.

21 Jul 2016 12:45:16
That's what the headline says, but when you read the article is just says he's on borrowed time, which is what we all knew anyway. Regardless of what happens we still owe him a lot of thanks for turning us around after relegation, just a shame things stalled last season due to injuries and strange team selections.

21 Jul 2016 12:50:29
Kenny jackett still in Ireland so not going anywhere till there back from Ireland.

21 Jul 2016 12:51:18
actually says speculation intensifies not that he has left.

21 Jul 2016 12:52:56
Whatever Jacketts failures last season, we should thank him for turning us around after 2 relegations, he had to do it without backing from the board and with his hands tied. He did it with good grace and dignity, I wish him good luck in the future and thank him, he has been treated with contempt and abysmally in the last few weeks, Thanks Kenny and goodbye.

21 Jul 2016 12:53:36
That's a different article pompeywolf.

21 Jul 2016 12:59:14
Cant find the article saying he is sacked anywhere lancashirewolf, have you got a link to the article?

21 Jul 2016 13:00:29
The b. ham mail changed their headline after10mins, so which is true.

21 Jul 2016 13:04:29
The way he selected the team and his tactics last season he treated the fans with contempt. I won't miss him one little bit.

21 Jul 2016 13:37:21
E&s saying he has 48 hrs before he gets the bullet.

21 Jul 2016 13:47:13
Lipetegu apparently the new Spain boss although I can't find clarification.

21 Jul 2016 14:55:01
no they're not. the twitter headline is misleading the whole article

21 Jul 2016 09:43:50
Just been made aware from a very reliable source that Wolves FC HAS been bought for £45 million and we can expect a press conference confirming this by Monday evening at the very latest. We have two signings to be confirmed on announcement of takeover. Both said to be playing their football in Portugal at the moment. As soon as this is confirmed, expect a very fast transition at Molineux with as many as 6 new faces by kick off against Rotherham. Anyone in or around Molineux today would have already saw several hand shakes and photos with a small group of wealthy looking Chinese Businessmen who certainly don't look like tourists. Finally something for us Wolves to cheer about. Champions League? Within 4 seasons? Why not!

21 Jul 2016 10:06:22
What planet are you on check bbc sport website it's being confirmed today.

21 Jul 2016 10:30:50
Rofl where have you been all this time Tipton.

21 Jul 2016 11:26:20
There's no one at molineux today there all in London.

21 Jul 2016 11:29:20
Big news and a few questions perhaps around this forum as to who really knew anything and who was full of Steve.

Now need to know who our manager is going to be. Given the signings in the pipeline, that part has been known for some time.

(Did anyone in fact mention Fosun? )

21 Jul 2016 11:35:57
BBC say statement today and press conference tomorrow.

21 Jul 2016 11:36:08
Up at the Molineux, it's11-35 and the queue at the ticket office is out the door. Press taking stories outside the ground.

Karlis, I came up but was too late, were you the tall guy with Son and tall daughter or am I talking utter bollards. 👍🇻🇳👍.

21 Jul 2016 11:49:49
StuWolf its mayhem I left work at 9:45 and only work ten minutes away literally just got back to work. Any more people turned up looking for interviews?

21 Jul 2016 11:53:30
I was just wondering if it has been the case of Wolves, WBA, Fosun and Robin Li playing one off against the other. It will be interesting to see who buys them. Hopefully Wolves, WBA and Villa will be competitive in Premier League in the years to come. I think the West Midlands needs to step up now.

21 Jul 2016 12:05:50
Shrek, I'm just halfway through the queue now, nobody else other than the guy in a suit and cameraman.

21 Jul 2016 12:10:03
I've submitted my CV for the role of manager - I'm hoping to hear back shortly.

On a serious note, last season was awful but it wasn't KJ's fault entirely. Injuries didn't help either and lack of investment in January. I would like to thank KJ for bringing pride back to our club (should he be relieved of his duties) #ITK.

21 Jul 2016 12:34:55
Stu might of been, I was certainly with my son and daughter outside the GLORY palace.
Looking forward to the new season with great expectations now cos
WE AM WOLVES AY WE .

21 Jul 2016 09:28:52
Just been informed by my sauce that we're after both former baggie's players Stéphane Sessègnon &/ or Victor Anichebe #ITK.

21 Jul 2016 09:46:03
Why bother with second raters? They couldn't cut it at Sandwell so won't cut it here.
Go back to the hawthorns and try again.

21 Jul 2016 09:46:27
Well done all those ITK or Not, it's been fun and stressful at the same time. I had a nod last night but dare not utter a word until I saw it in black and Gold. Well done Wolves fans around the World, enjoy this moment, we don't know what's to come but it will be better than the crap Iv'e had to endure of late. Iv'e really enjoyed the banter on here, thanks guys and girls, Anyone up the Molineux around 10-11 am I will say hello.

StuWolf

Onwards and Upwards.
Rollercoster rides free to STH's and all new members welcome in the next few weeks.

21 Jul 2016 09:57:48
breaking rumour on E&S that there should be some news later today. Woverhampton Wanderers sold for possibly £45 million

goo.gl/ooLOEp

21 Jul 2016 09:23:24
Jolen Lopetgui's first signing will be Bernardo Silva. Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for French club Monaco as a midfielder.

He is also looking to bring in Martín Benítez - an Argentinian seconday striker striker who is out of contract at former club CA INDEPENDIENTE DE AVELLANEDA.

Git it from a reliable sauce #ITK.

21 Jul 2016 11:27:46
Well guys and girls looks like its finally happening enjoyed puting posts and reading your posts on this page I ll be still on here here to the future of our beloved club🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻.

21 Jul 2016 11:50:41
Sounds like Carvalho Silver, Pele, H Costa, Cavaliero are certainties - that will make up the middle 4. The other two forwards mentioned are Talisca and Salvio for a 'bargain' €50 million. Other than Dicko, Graham or perhaps Zyro, I can't see Lopetegui giving any other players here a chance.

Lukaku at left back/ Ely at centre half and Ekpolo at right back have been mentioned but presumably Iorfa/ Hause could still do a job.

21 Jul 2016 12:15:59
Well that's just not good enough I want messi upfront with Suarez for starters 😆 Only hope new buyers still use and promote from the academy and don't just keep buying mega stars now / kids deserve shot at big time as much anyone else.

21 Jul 2016 06:14:30
Reported on BBC 5 Live that Fosun will complete the takeover today.

21 Jul 2016 06:38:40
I've just heard 5live confirm that we are due to complete today and new owners will be Fosun Intl 😊.

21 Jul 2016 06:55:08
I have heard the same report on 5Live aswell. Happy days if true.

21 Jul 2016 06:58:26
In that case I would think there will be a press release tomorrow. And that Jackett will be gone later today on there return from Ireland.

21 Jul 2016 06:58:57
It's Happening 👍👍👍.

21 Jul 2016 06:59:36
I also think that this has been a done deal for more than a week. And it has all been left until the Ireland training camp was completed.

21 Jul 2016 07:01:01
Wolves bought by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International for £45m

On BBC Sports Web Page.

21 Jul 2016 07:04:27
Same report on the BBC sport app 👍🏻.

21 Jul 2016 07:05:11
Confirmed by Pat Murphy on BBC website.

21 Jul 2016 07:11:44
On the BBC Website.
"Wolves have been bought by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International for £45m, with the club expected to confirm the deal on Thursday. "
So we will all know what it means tomorrow.

21 Jul 2016 07:14:09
I wonder how long it will take to get things moving. First signing and who it will be etc? Having said that, we haven't got long! Julen in by the weekend and signings coming in the start of next week?

21 Jul 2016 07:16:13
Banbury Wolf we salute you.

21 Jul 2016 07:16:56
It's on BBC website.

21 Jul 2016 07:18:54
Well now it's all done and dusted, I've got a slight bit of doubt of what might happen to the club. I'm thinking that the new owner will turn us into a franchise club and change the badge, colors and even our name. And then you've got what happened with blues and their owners as well.

21 Jul 2016 07:33:54
Diagreer they have paid for the brand it has real value and they will not want to change that. They will want to rebuild its profile not throw it away.

21 Jul 2016 07:37:08
Disagreer,
No, but seriously?
We all have concerns, but Morgan's zombie state is over, at least can you enjoy the moment?
What would you do if you won 45 million on the lottery mate, wish you hadn't so that you might win it a few days later on a further rollover fir 48 million?

21 Jul 2016 07:39:41
Looks like the tsingtao is coming out tonight been in fridge ready for a few weeks (although have re stocked a couple of times haha) happy days :)

21 Jul 2016 07:42:40
Imagine if it was Glenn Hughes and Robbie Keane buying the club. We'd all look pretty silly.

21 Jul 2016 07:53:59
Wolves sold. announcement later today.

21 Jul 2016 08:08:03
At loong last. Now let's please sort the poor managers situation out and our depleted squad.

21 Jul 2016 08:17:17
Going to miss all the sources, ITK and Gee Wolf's updates on car park activity.

It's been a roller coaster, let's hope we all get what we want, a successful Wolves, playing entertaining football and eventually winning trophies!

21 Jul 2016 08:17:26
Hilarious again that E&S is nowhere near this announcement! They'll probably splash the headline like a big 'scoop' in a few hours, once they get their lazy asses out of bed - world's worst journoes award!

21 Jul 2016 08:18:34
Well well I don't have to jump after all!
Mind you that Gee Wolf two timing me .

21 Jul 2016 08:26:32
Il 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 to the MWP👍👍👍.

21 Jul 2016 08:34:03
Honestly, the E&S are SO bad at reporting sport now. It was much better before Judah and Spiers (aka Laurel and Hardy) arrived on the scene. I swear to god that I could report better than those two clowns.

21 Jul 2016 08:40:45
Agree wavidsmith, there so far behind with things their a joke. With this takeover we will get more coverage in the Nationals now so the they'd might as well join JACKETT down the dole.

21 Jul 2016 08:44:20
They've just posted on Twitter as . Yeah it was nearly 3 hours ago they are useless.

21 Jul 2016 08:44:34
Great day. Thanks to all posters itk or not, specially gee and paul. Its been a right ride. Ulf can you stick with us? Come on we're on the way to signing some large tents! ALWAYS WOLVES.

21 Jul 2016 08:54:08
At last can't wait for the statement from wolves and to see new manager in and transfers coming in. Time to be positive guys and enjoy the ride. Up the wolves.

21 Jul 2016 08:54:40
Why no stock exchange announcement? If it is actually sealed there would have to be. Premature from BBC as it may not be sealed yet.

{Ed001's Note - why would there need to be a stock exchange announcement?}

21 Jul 2016 09:02:55
Most people would give their left arm to report for Wolves every day, not those two. When are the E&S going to wake up and do something about it? I'm not lying when I say that a child of eight would be more professional (and look happier) .

As for their joke 'laurel and Hardy' pieces to camera they do at the training ground, etc, I'm not going to comment on as it's just embarrassing. All that fiddling/ mumbling/ giving their own opinions. er, no thanks.

21 Jul 2016 09:04:21
Moxey off to Norwich.

21 Jul 2016 09:11:01
Why are people saying 'I am lead to believe Jackett will be relieved of his duties today'? A different person has been saying that every day for the last 2 weeks! I tell you what, hows about this for an idea? - go down the training ground - see that? IT'S JACKETT and, guess what? - HE'S STILL IN A JOB!

Stop it, please, until he actually has been.

21 Jul 2016 09:13:00
Because it's listed on the HKSE.

{Ed001's Note - and?}

21 Jul 2016 10:19:06
Kenny get ya jacket an goooooooo.

21 Jul 2016 10:38:37
Bit of press around the ground now ticket office is busy aswell.

21 Jul 2016 11:16:15
I'll be driving past the Mol soon so I'll post whether or not there's press.

21 Jul 2016 11:40:30
Anyone actually know the HKSE rules on what has to be announced or not?

I looked on Fosun's Investor Relations page and there's no announcement or press release there either. That's stranger. Anyway the Beeb got this scoop at 6.47 this morning. Don't know where they got their story from but I would guess from Wolves rather than Fosun.

21 Jul 2016 11:52:22
Just past the golden theatre of dreams and there were some paparazzi.

20 Jul 2016 22:38:56
