Rhodes is a good finisher but brings nothing else to the team. Good finishing is a very valuable commodity but I think we may have moved beyond that type of player now.

Afobe was okay until he heard there was interest in him from a Prem club. Wouldn't have mattered to him if it was Hartlepool so long as he could double or treble his wages as soon as possible.
All for players progressing on to better things in life but he was too greedy too soon and went to his head that he was a class above anything that we already had.

If we were to sign Sebastian Haller that would be an amazing signing. Would cost around £6m though and has been rumoured to be on his way to either Everton or Newcastle so might not happen. Big (6'2"), strong, pacey and scored lots of goals in France and Holland.

Maybe Albion and Wolves (and Villa) Chinese owners are in all cahoots together, under direction of Chinese Govt, they want all 3 clubs in Prem, stamping China's authority and creating derby drama for their home audience.
