Tweeted Tim spiers earlier about stears and kmac and he said talks are on going kj has said the kmac will be a massive player for us like he said about stears and dicko next season
I don't know how long talks have been on going for but I would expect them to sign within the next 2 weeks most next few days minimum if they are to sign tbh I hope they sign 3 year deals tbh I think this maybe what kj is waiting on for signings to come in?

So the latest runmour is Ameobi signing a new deal at Newcastle then joining us on loan for the season. Not convinced about him but I suppose a loan deal means we can't lose much and if he proves me wrong then great. Completely agree about Wood being a bench player when what we need is someone as good as Dicko and Afobe to challenge them or step in for injuries/loss of form.

are loans the way to go though. he spends a year here getting fitter,coached by kenny,possible regular game time. then he's goes back to newcastle and we might be left in the position of again having to hunt for a striker. and if we get promoted we will be looking at spending a whole lot more than we will have to spend on a striker now. spend some money now,get a striker in to build around with Dicko and Affobe. priming strikers for other teams shouldn't be what we are about.

Agree regarding Ameobi. I've never seen him have a game to remember but maybe Championship defences will be easier for him to gain some confidence.
As to Wood, a don't think it was necessarily a signing intending to be better than Dicko or Afobe, more someone who is different. I still think we need a strong target man up front at times.

Agree with you jimmy Jones getting players fit for other teams is wrong to me as well.
If you see a player you want then don't mess about sign him surely we are not that bad off its so frustrating to keep missing our targets I would like to now what's going on the board at the moment seam to be penny pinching and getting nowhere with quality and experience coming in,at this rate if we don't show any ambition it will take years to were we want to be and that is only one place for me the premier,sooner the better over to you Mr Morgan and Mr moxey start spending some cash because you didn't spend nothing last year and with all the big earners gone you have no excuses this year.

Not shedding too many tears with departure of Kuszczak. Noted today that Blackburn looking to offload Jake Kean, who looked the business when displaced Robinson and was their first choice couple of years ago.
