Yes we all wish we were top of this crap league but we aren't. Stale needs time to turn things around that were obviously deep seated at the club! If you don't like it buy the club off Morgan (who you probably think doesn't give a toss) and sack the manager! My guess is you wouldn't meet the "Fit and proper" criteria set out by the FA for owning a club!! In other words "Read between the lines and do one!!"

He was one of my answers, I went for managers who know this league and can work to a budget! And I still back Davies, McCleish, Coyle, Curbishley, Strachan and DiMateo more than I do Stale and his management team in this league! 1 win in 10 against a side in the relegation zone in this league is not progress! 17th in a crap league after 20 games! Everyone of those managers relegated from the Premier League apart from Di Matteo! Our Manager has cut it in the Chapions League with Copenhagen. Get a grip Paul T!

Exactly. All of those managers have proved themselves in the championship but no higher, I'd rather take a risk on someone who has managed in the championship but is looking to make his name in England. And stop saying we are easily pleased, no one is pleased at the moment. We are optimistic, understanding and patient. Three things in short supply in football at the moment.

Those names bore the pants off me. I'd rather have the excitement of something a bit different, risky even. Those names would never have signed Sako, Siggy or Doumbia. Players who just might do something different enough to set the turf alight.

Stale was a great choice. Even if it doesn't work out, and it may yet not, I admire Morgan for taking the risk (with HIS money, remember) and giving us something to be excited about.

The post above me is bang on. It was a great risk. We just have to let it play out now, whether it comes good or not. In a couple seasons if it still isn't quite clicking then we can get another boring proven championship manager and play reasonably successful direct football for another few years. Atleast then we can say we tried to do it differently.

Thanks mate, the post was mine (this is McWulf by the way - keep forgetting to sign my posts).

As an exercise in patience, look at Middlesborough. A similar team to Wolves and now Mowbray seems to be turning out for the better, and he believes in playing interesting football.

But if people want Warnock, Holloway or even McCarthy - proven Championship managers with records of promotion - and get their way then don't expect to get excited about the outcomes.

All I want is promotion, the Premier league is what it's all about! If that means gettin promoted usin a McCarthy Warnock or holloway so be it. What we did wrong last time was bein to loyal to a manager who us up and a lack of investment! Thats why we're where we are now! IMO Paul Tamworth
