Morning All

I have picked up a couple of snippets over the last couple of days, and it might not please one or two.
I have been told that when Morgan announced he was selling, he was convinced that he already had a buyer lined up. This has now fallen through. (I have no info as to who this was. ) Initial contact has been made with Wolves solicitors by a few parties but nothing has gone past the inquiry stage. I have been told that whilst out of the country Morgan has started to soften his stance a little, and that a sale is now NOT a forgone conclusion.
I must stress that this info has come from the same source that told me that the Reuben Brothers were very interested. So your guess is as good as mine. I suppose people within the club are 2nd guessing just as much as we supporters are. And I stress that i'm only passing on what I hear.

Really hope Ian's contact is right!

I hope Ian's contacts right to hope steve Barnett and Glen Hughes buy the club.

Our club and its survival are in serious danger.
Potential investors are being scared off by the price and the seller.
Morgan can run wwfc into the ground.
The club is in effect worthless.
150 million will buy you avfc, should they get relegated, the sky money will cover your investment, so why pay 50 million on a club that won't get promoted this season and maybe never.
The apathy of the fans towards Morgan thinking a knight in shinig armour is going to ride into town is frightening.
Truthfully do you trust Morgan moxey to do the best for wwfc. aye going to happen.

19 Nov 2015 22:03:11
It is frightening realist that morgan and moxey are destroying our club doesn't sound like we 'll be getting a buyer any time soon.

There's no positives with you lot, LMAO. Morgan owns the club, you don't like it, Morgan puts the club in for sale you moan at him for that .

Not moranin at all. Morgan wasn't willin to invest on the playin side with quality buys and we've still got a mediocre championship manager in charge! So hopefully both will change soon! Glass is half full with me 👍.

The realist.

Morgan has made a series of disastrous decisions at Wolves over the past few years. Finally he's made a sensible decision and put the club up for sale. If it sells, the club will only fetch what it is worth to a buyer. How much is that? It is not worthless in my opinion. It may be a lot less than he's asking. Why would Morgan run the club into the ground? Why would he destroy his investment? I run a business myself and to that extent I know what Morgan's sales strategy will be. If there is a buyer for Wolves out there, eventually a deal will be struck.

So what are you getting for your 50 million?
If Morgan was going to do a Sir Jack and sell for a tenner to someone who would invest 50 million, don't think they would be knocking his door down.
To invest 50 million and then having to right all the wrongs, invest in first team players capable of winning promotion and maintaining PL football, going cost you at least double that.
That's a massive gamble and would take someone with money to burn to take it on.
Listen Morgan is a hard hitting businessman, he would not back down to a few harsh words in a car park from some frustrated fans, he is no quitter.
Is the truth there was no more money to be made as the owner of wwfc and the perks that may bring, land purchases Compton development, stadium development.
Is the truth he could not invest any more of his wealth on a rank gamble.
I am the realist, I want so much for someone who loves the wolves as much as I do, to take the reigns and simply make us stronger.
But as the realist I can't see it happening.
Morgan has made many many poor football decisions, he has not made to many bad business decisions. the grim reaper I am not, the realist I am.

How do you make a small fortune out of a football club? Start with a large fortune.

Nobody should buy a football club purely as a business venture. Football clubs make bad businesses, it's a fact. For your average multi-millionaire businessman there has to be something else, some emotional connection, some prestige in the club's community as a result. Morgan is not from Wolverhampton and I believe he simply didn't tick all of the boxes needed to make a success at Wolves. Sir Jack Hayward was everything Morgan is not. I think the business prospects in the area were attractive to Morgana but in the end that's not enough.

We will just limp along if Morgan can't sell. If he can sell we don't want just another version of Morgan. In fact one-man ownership of large football clubs is increasingly untenable due to the huge investment needed. If there's a consortium buyer out there I hope a deal can be struck.

You can make money by buying a football club. But as with any business, where there are high returns there are high risks.

If Jeremy Peace manages to see that lot he will have made many millions and would have done so by clever management and sticking to a plan.

Deep Throat beautifully put.
This is frightening, wwfcs future is a heads and tails call.
