rafa has agreed to take the rains at wolves! i cant tell you who i am or what i do but trust me this is no joke, the anouncment will be made on monday.

B-O locks

No one has yet been offered the job, BUT one candidate is awaiting contractual alterations before dotting the I's and crossing the T's

Its Rafa till end of the season!

Everyone back from the pub I see.

Bruce turned down 13 week contract as he wants longer one

Bruce has rejected wolves according to the daily mirror......dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2103079/Steve-Bruce-turns-Wolves.html?ITO=1490&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Bruce has not been offered the post and wanted a longer term contract BUT wolves were not going to give it him - Wolves are basically getting the best deal for the club by offering various candidates different contracts to suit the club -- NOT the manager

Just checked on several online betting sites and betting on the new wolves manager seems to have been suspended.

Meaning??

Most of them switch it off at night, and to be honest, I've tried to gauge a lot about Wolves next manager via bookies but it changes so much it just proves they know as much as the press know and as much as the fans know. For all we all know and should be giving away it could be as good as Hiddink and as bad as Bruce. Lets see what Monday brings

E.g Bruce has move into Evens rather than odds on Curbs 3/1, Clark 5/1, Beni 6/1, Eriksson & Hollaway 18/1, Freedman 28/1. Vialli disappears. NO BODY KNOWS so stop speculating and wait for next week

Mr Moxley is on his way to Liverpool tomorrow... We can assume it is not to prize away King Kenny from the red side of merseyside and David Moyes is a dead cert for Spurs, as and when Harry departs for the England job. Therefore get down to The bookies empty your pockets and put it all on Gus Poyet to be next Wolves boss!!

No way nd whats liverpool got 2 do with poyet? {Ed001's Note - Brighton are up there to play Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup tomorrow.}

And you know this because you are Mr Morgan's chauffer?

You mean Moxey and what is the connection with Pouyet & Liverpool?

What has Liverpool (the north) got to do with Poyet at Brighton (the south coast)? Enlighten me please, I'm struggling here.

You heard it herefirst its Rafa they want!!Thats why hes up to Liverpool tomorrow.Hes come back right in on the betting aswell now 8/1,hes the big mover. This is a massive decision for Morgan and he wasn't happy with Curbs or Bruce

Big money is going on Rafa hes now 6/1!!!Watch this space!!

Ed - have you any ifo on Rafa? {Ed001's Note - not recent, all I know is that Morgan knows him and has always wanted him to manage the club, but has never made a serious offer to him, in the past anyway. It really wouldn't surprise me if he has taken a look at what is on offer and decided to go get him rather than mess about with another manager he feels is less capable. I know a lot of Wolves fans don't see it this way, but I know Morgan is extremely ambitious and he wants to have Wolves competing for trophies.}

Its nothing to do with geography! Liverpool v Brighton( Mr Poyet...is their manager). They are staying up North as they have a fixture at Hull on Wed. No I'm not a chauffeur just somebody that knows what's going on in the footballing world! Maybe u dont deserve Gus as you obviously think you are a bigger club than you really are! Ps why are you building a new stand when you can't fill the seats you've got?

This a question we have all been asking about the new stand and please don™t judge all Wolves fans on the negative drivel you read on these pages

Well said that man! Still put your money on Gus, good young manager and he knows his onions! In with the young managers eg Poyet, Robinson, Clarke. The managers that have been out of work have been so for a reason! Come on u seagulls and good luck for the rest of the season wolves, best team in the midlands. Love from Brighton

You sound a bit tetchy to me old chum. Desperate to be believed.

It could be Keegan the game is on ESPN and he is a Liverpool legend, excellent manager will only have respect I would think from Mr Morgan.

Who the hell is Morgan, I thought it was Moxley? Tetchy...why would I be? Is the air denser in Wolverhampton, it seems to have addled your mind?

It is Moxey not Moxley. As far as I am aware the density of the atmosphere has no correlation on the ability to think. Tetchy.

No one on here may believe me....
I have some what scaled back posting because all they get is disagrees.

Curbishley rejection rumours are false. A job offer has not i repeat not been made yet!
There will be something more concrete next week.
Curbs does seem to be no.1 choice do far

Surprising that so many interviews are taking place in any event but particularly with the limited time period between now and next Saturday. Apparently we're not yet finished first round interviews and then then we've got the second round, God Almighty, what post are they interviewing for - sanitary engineer?

Not seen anything on sky sports

Agree they pick the pope faster

Keep on posting wolvesinsider I for one believe you

Bruce and Curbs are just a smoke screen.Wolves are in talks with big names and some are in work.Moxey has also confirmed this stating confidentiality on both sides.Names in the hunt are Big Sam,Rafa Lambert with Curbs,Bruce hasn't got a hope!!

Wolvesinsider do u know anything about future protests for moxey out

Rafa is now 9/1 withPaddy Power!10/1 with Labrookes! This is Morgans first manager he will not appoint Bruce.

Lets hope Bruce is a smokescreen. Get somebody young, bright and dynamic in.

All I can say guys is its impossible to say who will be in the job before the men themselves know.
But..... Before any interviews took place curbs was the bosses favourite! After his interview he is still in pole.
I for one would like to see him in this role.
Oh.... It is a long time with interviews etc but expect to see some movement next week. Tbh I expect a new manager in the post by Wednesday!
Wolvesinsider

Ok w/insider, you're saying no definitive selection yet, fair enough. Lets' get our heads together over the next 24/48 hours and see if we can best guess it. Open to all wolves fans and 001 if agreed. Are you on?

I'll try my best mate

This is just a follow up message for the editor on my previous post. The claim Curbishley has turned us down was repeated on ssn by Geoff Stelling at about 2pm whilst discussing the wolves, strange that there has been no follow up, but at 5.48pm the confirmation by Wolves has taken place and they are just about to read out the statement on Sky. Andy..

Why isnt this anywhere on the internet wolves wouldnt announce nothin until they have got there man

Further follow up: Moxey has just said live on Sky they are half way through interviews. Has refused to comment on Curbishley either way.. I have reported honestly and sky have been responsible for rumour on tv regarding Curbs. Andy

Jez moxey on ssn just, said same as we already know. Ongoing talks and second interviews to take place. Did not confirm or deny curbishley has rejected us.

Moxey was vague at best.Half way through the process nearing the second round of interviews.

Look folks,no offers have yet been made,I am as anxious as everyone else to know who is taking.g over but fact is,Moxey and Morgan keep things close to their chests, and for food reason,Everyone is Clamoring for Curbs, but whoever we end up with as manager has to be given full support by the club and fans,so keep the faith, enjoy ur weekends,no news is good news,Atleast they aren't being rushed into rash decisions. G B F.

Spot on no need to rush. and just to put the record straight curbishley is still in the running but he has said his interview was poor on his part, so he feels his chance has gone.

18 Feb 2012 15:49:54
Interviews are ongoing today, no offers made yet. Source, Express & Star, just dropped through my door. 'nuff said

18 Feb 2012 15:19:49
Hi Ed, do you know anything on curbishley rejecting wolves offer hoping it's just a hoax cheers

vidosic-lover33 {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out no job offers have been made yet.}

Surely they would never admit to offering him the job if he turned it down. It then makes all other managers seem as if they are second choice.

Just confirmed on sky sports Curbishley was offered the wolves job and said no... explains fall in odds. This is fact.

From twitter (James Fielding) Mark Regan has spoken to Jez Moxey and says that Wolves have not offered the job to anyone yet. Curbishley snub rumours false

All there jealous s***t fan's coming out with rubbish because deep down there stuck with a s**t manager just trying to get a rise outta us

All there jealous s***t fan's coming out with rubbish because deep down there stuck with a s**t manager just trying to get a rise outta us

Lets face it same rubbish from the wolves we will not spend on a manager or players

No one has been offered the job, wolves still talking to other applicants, Curbishley did not measure up to Moxey and wanted guarantees that Morgan was not prepared to fund.

Hopefully this rumour is just a ramification of his son's tweet yesterday and the fact we're still interviewing for the post. We won't know anything til Monday folks.

So at the end of the day we've inherited a tight business man who ain't gonna spend money who's just happy taking millio's of pound a year off us and putting nothin into the club the stand and training ground mean nothin if there's no team / manager I've said it before once his houses are built on the training ground he'll be gone with a big pay out saying thank you very much

His son said he wanted it but didn't no if he'd get it

18 Feb 2012 12:18:06
steve bruce now odds on favourite for wolves jobss

Oh no .

I'd say so now, Warnock at Leeds and curbs turned down job offer apparantley, on ssn

Curbishley has been offered wolves job and turned it down skysports
