Di canio has been in advanced talks with Steve Morgan and his puppet expected to take over wen relegation /survival confirmed
I know he wasn't happy with some of his Swindon players recently but I reckon he's off to West Spam
More b/s all this is happing not a word from our chairman or his dipstick sidekick moxley
From a Wolves fan living in Swindon this would be great- finally get to give everyone down here some stick. I know that the person they want for the job is in work at the moment. West Ham are sticking with Allardyce for next season whether they stay up or down.
I think Paolo WILL be leaving Swindon at the end of the year. When interviewed last night he said "IF I stay next season, we have to have a serious look at how our academy is run, as we have no players progressing through to the professional game." or words to those effect
God help Morgan if he goes in the dressing room if di canio is in charge.
I really do hope this is true.
I'm doubtful because this post actually gives us a chance of survival...
I am a season ticket holder and a wolves fan for over 40 years and this just a polite question what has Morgan done that is so wrong. MaCarthy and the players have got the club relegated not Morgan
I 100% agree with the above comment , well put.
You mean apart from sacking Mick at the wrong time, then replacing him with a complete novice?
About what has morgan done wrong let mick go on to long not invested in players when we needed them made a fance of replaceing mick a joke of puting in connors put stand before the team no spoke to fans let us know what the hell is going on its not a gents country club he is a liverpool man not a yam yam
I am not in any way a Morgan hater - I think we have a lot to be thankful for. However here are a few issues from this season:-
1. New North Bank taking priority over much needed new signings.
2. McCarthy being left in charge for at least 10 games too many.
3. Lack of investment in the January window.
Well said how long does it take for him to send a statement out to us or are we in Rome waiting for white smoke
Where are people coming from lack of investment. McCarthy 6 th largest net spend in premiership. The north bank money was also ring fenced as part of the deal to purchase the club of sir Jack. Sir Jack's own terms.
It frustrates me when people go on about investing in players. the fact is if mick really wanted a player he would of pressured the board into making it happen. before you go on complaining in investing into the team you have to ask yourself did mick actually want anyone. morgans not going to spend money on a player that the manager doesn't want
Actually 5th highest net spenders - How many of you would put your own money in after some of the signings madmick brought in?
Madmick along with his biggest ally Moxey have held the club back after promotion - Madmick picked out his top targets and Morgan financed the deals!
Moxey has been to interested in his own bonus (which he only earns if the club remains in profit) to benefit wolves fc.
Madmicks signings have since moostly vanished, the players he and Connor said were no good have gone on to bigger and better things - Mulgrew, Van Damne, Meirrhoffer, Bennett and others all of which were footballers not hoofballers
Ok McCarthy has spent 40m since taking Wolves to prem however all the rest have spent roughly;
Swansea 5m, Norwich 4m, WBA 9m, Blackburn 12m, Bolton 12m the list goes on an on, how much does Morgan need to put in? He's building the ground up more income for Wolves for the new regulations coming into place, we are in pole position to become a bigger club in the future keep the faith all will change when your Everton's, QPR's, Wigan, Bolton, Chelsea, Man City, Fulham all go bankrupt.
Then all of a sudden Wolves are the best run club in the country again you will all see, rather be Wolves than end up like Pompey struggling to keep hold of a club.
He said van damme was good but hewas home sick and for meirhoffer saying he's not hoofball, he 6foot 8 and can only header a ball in english football but i do agree with mulgrew
