We plan to land a deal to sign Celtic youngster Callum McGregor.

Planning and landing are two very different things. Apparently Celtic do not want to sell him. I would be in favour of a swap deal with Leigh Griffiths personally.
Mander Centre.

McGregor has scored as many goals as Griffiths in same league in an inferior team and from midfield. Looks like a deal worth pursuing especially as we are likely to get cash plus player!

Should look at other young talent north of the border. ex player Jackie McNamara probably has best options but pick of the bunch Ryan Gould is attracting attention from top premier teams. There are others at Dundee and elsewhere and teams are desperate for money.

Be interested to know where KJ and Thelwell are today.

He was at the under 18s game who beat stoke 6-1

Aparently Leon Clarke deal is going slow but KJ said we will get it done before the end of the window if we agree a payment and if we're his ideal location.
Wolvesbrain

We could sign Ronaldo if we agree a fee and we're his ideal location.

As previously mentioned Leon would prefer not to come back to the mol. This deal would be better dropped.

So you have spoken to Clarke then and he has told you he does not want to come back or what.
When someone makes a statement such as yours it usually means that it is you that does not want him back.

People that are saying griffiths swap deal for mcgregor griff is our best player kj just haven't given him his chance same as siggy give the lad a chance!

Poster number 4 where did you complete your doctorate in psychology. Just passing on a comment I am aware of from someone who still knows Leon well. Do you think all footballers live in a bubble and never express their opinions. If so, why do you come on a rumour site.

Wolves game at Crawley tomorrow set to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Pitch inspection at 1.30pm but Crawley fear the worst.

I'm so angry about this, just as we had momentum this happens.

Yes the game will be rescheduled but it would have kept the pressure on Orient and Brentford at least.

Its not all bad the momentum will keep going anyway because the players will be even more hungry to play and win.

Come on, we've won 1 out the last 3! I wouldn't say we had momentum! Chill out we will beat them another day! Plus it allows Brentford and Orient to have their game in hand, then tomorrow at 4.45 we will have a true readin of the league table. This week now we can get all our injured back to full fitness and hopefully bring in another couple of additions to our squad. Paul Tamworth

Its off. But at least we'll see how the land lies Saturday as Orient and Brentford will be on 26 games too

Neatly stated Paul Tamworth - true picture 4.45, plus increased options from fitness/additions. wolfshead.

Extra week for Doherty and Price plus not having to play on a mud heap.that was my fear cum on the saddlers do me some giant killing.beat the bees and u can av Cassidy on loan pinky promise.

We've won 1 out of the last 1. Now that's momentum!

Morning all.

I have had it on VERY STRONG authority that this rumour with the TATA group is about to surface again. What what I am hearing TATA are keen to further improve there image and standing in the city, with the completion of the new factory getting closer they see the football club as a strong part of the community are are VERY keen to get involved.
My source has suggested that this will take the initial format of a lucrative sponsorship deal, with them then taking over the shirt sponsorship from 'whathouse', which has another season and a half to run. But this will just be just the beginning with the company looking to take complete control of the football club with a buyout feasible within the next 3yrs.

Highley Wolf

I've also heard of a take over at the club, and if they can take their business strategies into our club then wow! Just look at the standing JLR have right now.

Only problem there of course is - would Moxey pay championship wages, us being an even bigger club? Over to you Jez. wolfshead.

Community involvement and sponsorship is one aspect of a large company's activities. However, after the sale of plants in Teeside and the sell off rumours in Scunthorpe they will think long and hard about a deeper 'dive'. You need to make sure you are going to be there for the longer - term and last year there was media talk of pulling away more capacity from the U.K and focusing more on assets in countries like the Netherlands. I don't expect, pleasant as it is to dream, that Mr.M will be going back to Cheshire in a hurry!

This is all a load of. Businessmen don't let people know if they are buying a club. They keep it secret right until they have bought the club. Look at Chelsea, Man city and the like, nobody even heard a whisper, then boom sheikh Mansour is the new owner of MCFC. If TATA were buying us we wouldn't know right till the last minute. Wishful thinking it may be but rumours of us being sold are rubbish. I also don't think life under the TATA group would be that much better than it is now anyway. They have worked hard for what they have and I don't see them throwing money at Wolves. Their not in the Oil business and aren't sitting on a £500billion business.

Port Talbot- Tata's largest uk plant are just about to go through redundancies. With an anticipated loss of £80 million this financial year. Senior management have been told by the Indian's to cut the losses by 50%. So I would doubt it would be politically correct to start investing in the Wolves at present but one can hope.

If I know one thing about Steve Morgan he's no quitter when he can recoup his outlay he may sell until that day he will push forward, football has taught him his hardest lesson in business, so many chances to walk away, he might just might be stubborn enough to prove us all wrong.the realist.
