Ed has lambert been interviewed? If he has then he must want the job Morgan should choose him he's done great at Norwich. Please enlighten us {Ed001's Note - I am not sure mate, I am keeping an open mind on the matter though, but the person I know that would know is out of the country at the moment, so I can't ask them.}

Why the hell would Lambert give up
safety for relegation?
It's not about that it's the size of the club
Money.
Larger transfer budget and salary.
Not saying he is coming or even been interviewed though.
Have read he is unhappy with lack of funds at Norwich but that's probably bull as well.

It's a done deal! Alan Curbishley has put pen-to-paper today on a short term deal until the end of the season worth £200,000 with an added bonus of £500,000 if the club remain in the Premier League by the end of the season.
Now, this is where it becomes tricky. My sources have told me there are several different terms & clauses that have been agreed between both parties. The first is that IF Curbishley keeps Wolves in the Premier League after the next 13 games he will be given a three year extension worth £6 million pounds. The second term is that IF Wolves remain in the Premier League after these 13 games, Curbishley will be given £15 million pounds to spend on players in the Summer Transfer Window. And finally, Curbishley's agent has implemented a clause whereby if Wolves interfere with significant player decisions i.e. tactically or financially without consulting his permissions first he is legally contracted to resign from the club and force legal proceedings.
Hope you can all understand that, I've been told the press conference regarding Curbishley's appointment will take place on Monday morning.

To the dimwit above, I'm getting this from colleagues who work at the club and work closely with Morgan. Like I stated at the end if you bothered to read, it will be announced publicly on Monday. I realise that 90% of you are awfully pessimistic and don't believe me but I honestly couldn't care less because I'm doing you all a favour here posting this up when I have better things to do - learn to be appreciative.
Thanks for the update FWF. Hope your information turns out to be right. Will give Curbs nearly a week with the team before the Newcastle match. Up the Wolves.

rumour is that roy keane has been interviewed for the wolves post and has been invited to meet again back in cheshire over the weekend.Keane is desperate to get back in management and believes he can guide the wolves to safety.

We know: Curbs, Bruce and Warnock - these remain the faves but we suspect:
Curbs didn't impress the Board
Bruce was unhappy about the money available to spend.
Warnock might prefer to stay in Yorkshire with Leeds or Huddersfield.
We think the others interviewed were:
George Graham
Gordon Strachan
David O'Leary
Peter Reid
Lee Clark
Leaves one other contender?Paul Ince, Walter Smith? Must be others to consider
Heard David o'leary say he wasn't interested in the job and strachan avoided answering the question.

I have had a look Alan curbishley on twitter, that what he said " I'm getting a few people ask me about the wolves job but I cannot say too much yet but watch this space!
Mmmm...... seem we got our man!
He hasnt got a twitter account! His son has though and last night said his Dad had been intwrviewed for the job and although he wanted it he didnt believe it had gone well. Do we think this is a straight fight between Curbs abd Bruce now or do we reckon someone else may sneak it?

Bruce's record is not rubbish. He kept blues in the prem for 5 years, he made wigan into a good side and kept them up with 60 odd points and led Sunderland to there highest position ever last year. People can only remember this season when hes had a bad season. They forget what's happened in previous seasons

The person that said hes not rubbish,you forget to mension his record at Sheff Utd!Look what O'neil done with the same players in the space of 10 or so games.I'm fed up of these managers who get sacked for being rubbish then get a chance at another club and Wolves is a massive job!

ED this might just absoult rubbish but i saw a post on the E&S that says lambert has been interveiwed surly thats just rubbish you heard anything {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard that, but I don't see why it would not be possible, so long as Norwich give permission.}

Warnock's the favourite for the Leeds job as of this afternoon so hopefully that's him out the frame. Unfortunately Bruce's odds have shortened with some firms. I'm putting that down to the common knowledge he had an interview today and Curbs' son's tweet - 'don't think he wants it'. Got a feeling we will/have interviewed some other candidates not picked up by the media. Just my opinion though!

Despite only three names being reported in the press, the Wolves board have actually interviewed nine candidates over the last three days at the Royal Garden Hotel in London, with some not-so-obvious names now being thrown into the hat.
A Wolves supporting member of staff on reception had the opportunity to speak to George Graham after an interview, and despite George's obviously guarded demeanour, got the impression that the Wolves job is a far from forgone conclusion and felt that George had impressed the Molineux board enough to have a good chance at being offered the role on a short-term basis, with a move to a Director of Football type position should the club retain their Premier League status.
George Graham? And some people are saying Curbs has been out the game too long! I'd get down your bookies and have a pound on that (my wallet's staying shut)

As far as I'm aware Bruce and curbs have been interviewed as well as warnock. There are others on the so called short list but gaining who the board favour at the moment is fairly tricky!
Sky sports news aren't exactly always reliable guys.

Curbishly is our man subject to Moxey agreeing his terms. He will be offered a 2 year plus 13 game contract with the agreement that if we stay up he has money to invest next season. He wants no restriction on the age of the plays he wants to sign and wants to change the coaching stall. His appointment will be Monday. His agent wants a 1.5 million a year contract.

Pessimistic,I know but being a wolves fan you get this way,not so sure that curbishley will sign on the dotted line,knowing how Moxey operates he will be expecting the guy to work miracles for next to no contract assurances,then if we stay up,he will be expecting him to compete on scraps,I don't think a manager who truly knows his worth would operate under those circumstances,only a chancer would in my opinion,I would have no confidence in Bruce or Warnock in the situation we are in,Bruce really is still untried in truth,I don't think a scrap is what he needs,and Warnock is in the same mould as MM,great promotion manager,but sadly lacking in tactical quality,motivation can only take you so far as we have born witness to this season, tactical awareness is needed now and Of the men mentioned I can only see Curbishley offering us what's needed,but will he be on board......I honestly doubt it.
Good god man cheer up at least we still have a club!

There are new indications that Curbishley was less than happy with the terms being offered by Morgan and Moxey.
Wolves seem determined to offer a package that is an initial temporary position, backed with a significant bonus, followed by a longer term package, depending on Wolves surviving relegation.
Curbishley was also reported to be concerned about the lack of transfer money: £2-3 million if in the Championship and £10 million if Wolves stay in the Premiership. He is also concerned about the role of Moxey and oversight of transfer dealings.
In return, Morgan Moxey seem less convinced than before about the suitability of Curbs for the job, hence their renewed interest in Bruce.
Warnock is also a contender – he would be happier to take on Wolves until the end of the season and then worry about a future contract.

The complete opposite, Alan Curbishley has a daughter and a son you can look them up for yourselves: Michael & Claire Curbishley. It seems they have leaked the truth about their dad and it turns out to be good news for us.
His daughter tweeted In response to her brother's previously deleted tweets I quote: "@macurbs boy your getting me all excited, feel like I am a step closer to Matt Jarvis haha".
Bet your mortgages on Curbishley to become Wolves next manager, it will happen VERY, VERY soon.

The bruce interview is a formality of the interview process. no statement is due to be released by wolves untill monday. so we've got the weekend to debate it. but source suggest that curbs has provisionally accepted the terms. waiting game now.
We must be carefull we dont get another person like thick mick.
