Apparently we are only calling Leigh Griffiths back to sell him to hibs and make a bit of cash out of him, better than him going for free I suppose but should we give him a try?

If he comes back and gets his head down and is prepared to fight for his place yes, if he comes back gets arrested and moans at the manager and still expects to be first choice no

Nah, boy's got it good in the SPL, wouldn't play him over any of our strikers. I'm sure he supports hibs so his heart's in it up there, wouldn;t be the same down here I don't think.

Hibs have admitted they couldn't afford him. Time for some growing up and showing your worth on an english pitch. Hibs fans reckon he looks better than Fletcher at the same stage, just needs the right manager to get him more on the straight and narrow. Next seasons strike force perm any 2 from Cassidy Griffiths ans Siggy.

Meanwhile - Wolves are trialing soon-to-be released Arsenal left-back Samir Bihmoutine, with the 19-year-old playing against the Gunners in Monday's under-21 fixture.

Greg Cunningham is also being considered now that Bristol City have been relegated.

He did well from what I heard. His pace caused a lot of problems.

Were also after Albert Amoah.

If we go down we won't be looking at either of them

Cranston seems a very good lb and should be given a chance. next season cranston and the arsenal lb whatever division

Cranston - didn't he play for stoke in the 80's. last seen on Wednesday night coaching my son in Stafford. I will ask him next week :) presume you mean somebody else.

I'm sure it's Cranston, the u21 lb then that's got a similar name lol

It is Cranston. Jordan Cranston I think. May be wrong, I must admit I haven't seen the lad play though.
I have Arsenal friends who quite rated this Bihmoutine. They just think they're happy to stick with Gibbs and Monreal so happy to let him go.

Different team from first to second half. Bit dodgy for the last 10 mins but loved it. Felt like a game from the 1990's.

Back to the rumours. I was speaking to the head steward last night and he confirmed that if we go down all of their contract are to be changed with some of them expecting to lose their jobs. he also said that it was possible that one of the stands would be closed to save money with the top tier of the Steve Bull most likely.

Funny, my brother is the head stewart and he knows nothing about any of this.

Thats even funnier, because my sisters, brothers, mums, son is also the head stewart. How many of them are there?

That'll be you then I guess.

Just the one, my brother. Any of the Ed's would it be OK to name him? {Ed003's Note - probably best not.}

What is a "head stewart"?. one person i'd of thought yeah spelling mistake but 2 i'm wondering?

Celtic are after Kevin Doyle. Don't blame if he goes.

He will go for definate, Paul Tamworth

With any luck he will go, as long as he scores enough goal to keep us up, and the deadwood

Not sure why we would be lucky if Doyle goes. Had minimal quality supply over the years but still has the ability to win the ball, hold it up, run with it, supply other forwards, good in the air and on the ground. Quality personality good professional, it will be a long long time till we can afford a player of his quality. Think on.

In my opinion, if we stay up, I would want to keep doyle (and keep him as captain). Yes he has had a poor season but there are very few of our players that haven't. He is a classy player and letting him go would be a mistake. Once the team gain confidence he looks a completely new player and one that defences fear.

Doyle will go Celtic! We can't offer him Champions League! Paul Tamworth

Doyle is a class act, just had a poor run, just look at his finish last night.

I think doumbia really helped last night with getting the passes through to him

Behave, he's far from a 'class act'.

Decent finish last night, could name 10 other championship strikers who would also gobble up that chance.

3 goals in 6 games is a scoring run for him. Compared the real 'class acts' in this division that's nothing.

With respect, name 10 better. Read today that was his weaker foot. Think you need a coaching course, then you will appreciate what a good footballer he is. He isn' t an out and out goalscorer but very intelligent, brings others into play, very strong for his size. it is no coincidence that he is playing better since Hunty is back.

With respect, if it has taken you 4 seasons of watching Doyle to find out his is infact right footed then maybe you need to watch more football.

Ten better strikers.

Murray
Austin
Vdrya
SEB
Frazier Campbell
Mackail-Smith
Simon Cox
Jordan Rhodes
Craig Bellamy
George Boyd
Chris Wood
Troy Deeney
David Nugent

Sorry, must have got carried away, actually named 13 there. Could have carried on too.
