I guarantee that Henry is going back to London as he is fed up of being taken off in every game. He has held talks with Charlton & Brentford and his agent has spoken to QPR. He has also cancelled his guitar lessons siting his move back down south as his reasons. He feels unwanted and that KJ does not rate him despite giving his all in every game. I have known for sometime that wolves were not looking to replace Sako but looking at a more solid and narrow formation. I still expect Leon Britton to arrive to bolster the central area with KMac to be used in a more advanced area. I did post something similar in early June!

Doubt KJ will get rid of Henry as he's surely our 1st choice winger with Sako gone!? KJ played a 4-3-1-2 formation against Paris FC the other day but only wants it as an alternative to the 4-2-3-1.

A few things here, why the hell would we get rid of Henry when he is our number 1 winger (though we haven't seen Wallace yet) and certainly worth more than 500k. Secondly I wouldn't touch Robson-Kanu with a barge pole he is junk. Thirdly why are we being linked with Toney again when the deal fell through last year due to a medical as far as I know. Lastly I wouldn't mind Gray down here if we want someone to challenge Dicko and Afobe and not just sit on the bench as back up then we need to spend a decent amount. Still think we need a quality keeper and 1 or 2 strikers as midfield/wide men are more than covered and centre back though I don't think Ebanks-Landell is good enough we have Iorfa and Hause to step in and cover. Keep the faith with KJ and Thelwell as they know what they are doing and they keep business quiet until the player has signed as proved with Coady and to prove my point KJ voted the best manager outside the Prem so we need to stick with him.

I hate to say it but VLP is a head of Henry if Jacobs starts on Left you've seen that last season he constiently picked VLP when he should of been picking Henry but if we play 4231 for me Henry should be from the right and VLP from the Left I'd much rather have VLP to Jacobs tbh but I'm hoping Jacobs does it at th same Time Kanu is shite end of i'd rather us go for will Buckley tbh well just have to wait and see I don't wanna see Henry leave tho either I rate him still

I can see it being true
Players are out to maximise their income in the short window of a career that they have. They don’t get rich from staying at one club (unless you’re a Rooney type) you get rich from signing on fees and more to the point - so do agents!
I can quite image is agent having a word in his ear and saying “move now on a 3 yr deal and then there is still a chance of another move after that” – plus if KJ is looking at a narrow midfield, VPL and if the bid for Will Buckley is true then there are 2 players infront of him – plus his family are in London .
. I think it may well happen!

Henry is in last year of contract and wants first team football every week apparently. If he looks at our midfield (in terms of numbers) and the fact he was benched a lot of last yr he prob thinks he's a squad player at best

Wasn't sure whether to believe the rumours of Henry going were true but if Tomm1970 is right in Henry cancelling his guitar lessons is true that he must be leaving. Can you confirm he has cancelled the milkman as well?
As for one of the above posts calling Thelwell an idiot, that is ridiculous. Thelwell has played an important role in recruiting many of the players in the last two seasons plus he was the driving force behind hiring Jackett. I'm going to blow a big raspberry now to show my contempt.

Sorry not convinced about Andre Gray. He may be from wolvo and helped to get Stale the sack when he was at Luton, but the Brentford fans felt he cost them some big points at the end of the season. Buckley please or Gudmundsson from Charlton. RVP stand in striker and keep Henry unless he wants to go. If he does want to go Zeli needs more playing time.

Reply to clivewolves: my son and I have joint guitar lessons at the same tutor as James Henry and my son (who is wolves mad) asks about him every week. At the end of the season he told the tutor that he was off on holiday and would not be back as he set his sights on a move back south as he was unhappy at not playing every week. I understand it sounds like 'a friend of a friends brother said. ' But this happened in May and he returned some things that he had to the tutor 2 weeks ago saying wolves had agreed to let him go if they received a good enough offer.
Oh and as he shops at Waitrose in Penn I don't think he needs to cancel his milk.

Tommo you have my vote and l don't think I blame him. He has given his all in every game he's played in and looked a decent finisher. He's also stayed out of the press unlike Mac and off twitter like daft lad Evans.I wish him well.

Tommo1970 as much as I back people's rumours iv heard he has no thumbs so that makes it impossible for him to even play a guitar. That's a harsh rumour. Jokes apart, I carnt see many players leaving Wolves this season. It's good times to be at Wolverhampton wanderers I feel.

Don't think Robson-Kanu is as bad as people are making out, quite a quick powerful winger who scores a few and sets a few up, not as good as Sako. Probably a level down from Sako but would be a decent replacement imo
