I'd say Costa has doubled his market value since he's been here. and I'd say Neves is a 30million pound player we stole from Porto!
Cav reminds me of Nani a little bit. amazing one minute then doesn't seem to know what he's doing the next! Potential there though.
I think with Jota, Costa, Cav, marshall, Bright, Graham we have the best attacking midfield outside of prem.
There must be 50 goals in that lot?

Was looking on a Cardiff forum site last night to see what cardiff fans were saying about Saturday's match. Most think that they will win as they see themselves as a really strong team. They hit you on the break so expect a packed mid field and defence. Some were talking of certain players who will be kicking neves and co off the park (typical warnock) . Let's show them we mean business by giving them a football lesson.

I wouldn't be surprised to see price in the middle to start'if it gets a bit"snotty"Romaine has got a yellow card or worse 'tackle in him, I think he would probably lose the plot if the tackles started coming in, and knowing how much warcock loves us, he would've em got em wound up like clock springs by Saturday afternoon.

When we played Shrewsbury in a friendly they kicked us off the park we didn't give anything back but when we played Peterborough we gave as good as we got so it's going to b a pretty bruising game against Cardiff as for the striker we after I don't think it will b British a foreign player one of mendes men if we going to spend big.

It's probably worth us putting on a couple of "sacrificial" players at the start to get stuck in to Cardiff. Batth and Price come to mind. And Bennett. Keep some of the stars back for the first half as it probably won't be that type of game anyway.

Rubin neves 15mill stroke of genius what a snip u can c why he's valued at 40mill he's one of those players that let's the ball do the work spot on 30yd passes and breaks up play couple of touches and the balls on its way splitting the defence open and through to the front men can't stop watching his goal against hull.

First time post for me, I'm a regular reader!
I live a few doors up from a senior steward who looks after the main players entrance on match days and always provides decent / accurate info.
Apparently we are not buying a new forward, when Costa returns Cav will take the central role as previously played there prior to joining us.
We may look at a young striker on loan from Arsenal?

The Bham mail are reporting a change of tack by Fosun in the striking dept, should the right player be available then they will go for him, due to the start we've made. I can only agree. ⚽️😉👍.

Gayle from Newcastle would be my first choice, second would be Bamford from borough, I was impressed with his link up play when he came on against us.

i wouldn't necessarily disagree with UAWS but what about when we get injuries to key players. Strengthen from a position of strength is my motto.

Neither Gayle or Afobe play as a lone striker. they normally play off someone so I can't see either down here.
I'm sure Uncle Mendes will have someone we've never heard of lined up. and hopefully he'll turn out to be a Costa not a Texiera.
Because if we're honest none of us had heard of-
Costa
Cav
Jota
Bonatini
And only a few of Neves.

Of the multitude of striker's names that have been bandied about this would be my preference in this order;
1 Aboubakhar
2 Afobe
3 Soares
4 Oliveira
Don't want Gayle or Bamford or Gallagher or Rhodes to be honest.
I might consider Peter Crouch but only if his Mrs agrees to become the pre-match entertainment in a cheerleader outfit!
My guess though is that it will be someone no-one has mentioned and few have even heard of before.

I think we are going to have to look beyond Gestifute, Mendes has 6 CF's on his books.
I think it's safe to say Costa, Silva and Falcao won't be coming to Wolves. That leaves Soares, Oliveira or Hassan.
Hassan has just come back from long spell out and does not have the greatest scoring record, but was at Rio Ave
Oliveira has found the luv with Norwich, could just be butt kissing, who knows.
That only leaves Soares as a possibility
Mendes is also linked with Aboubakar but he seem settled at the moment.

Soares or Oliviera all day for me. Outside of those Afobe fits the bill of being good on the ball, linking play and good finisher. Compare the players around him to those that were round him during his final 6 months. if we get any of these 3 I'll be delighted.

How about usain bolt as striker from what I've seen of him he's got sudden burst of speed very tall good with the head very strong should brush defenders aside and should have a good eye for goal.

Can see them sitting and been very disciplined in terms of shape.
10 at the back zohore up front waiting. Warnock will get them wound up to make sure it isn't comfortable and look to nick it either by set piece (standard warnock) or counter attack.
However I feel we have enough quality and a more thorough shape than Cardiff.
Do you go for Jota or Cav? As jota has played continuously. Personally if Jota is fit and got enough for an hour then he plays.
I can either see an ugly draw or wolves been mesmerising and scoring 3-0. The defence won't be happy after last night. 🐺🐺🐺.

Steady on Stu. Neves is very good yes but remember he wasn't even a regular for Porto. If you're saying he's better than Modric, Iniesta, Verratti etc then with respect you're pulling our collective Willy Bolys!

Yes linked last year but apparently nuno has had him watched and he really rates the lad and hey let's face it I was one of them that thought he made a mistake when selling bod but after couple of games nuno is god he can't do any wrong in my book the mol faithful are behind you and the team.
