Talk Sport confirm O'Leary is one of the contenders for the Wolves job.
Didnt do a bad job at Vile but spent a lot of money.
Think that will rule him out if true.

David O'Leary and Peter Reid have joined the Wolves shortlist as the managerial race hots up.
Lee Clark is believed to be another name, along with Warnock and Ince.
Steve Bruce is no longer in the running but Curbishley is being approached today, although Moxley is thought to prefer O'Leary

Its an intriguing one. O'Leary has been connected with a number of jobs recently. Still lives in the Midlands. Reid I am not so sure about but I dont believe old Monkey Heed is a contender.
Curbs looks like fave but cant rule out O'Leary at all

Lee Clark's sacking has all but confirmed a solid rumour I have heard from a mate who has VERY close sources from within the club. He is set to become assistant manager alongside Alan Curbishley who will take up the managerial role, this will be announced by the club within the next 72 hours.
You heard it here first guys.

Sky sports news short list has been confirmed as nonsense by Wolves.
I kind of agree with this, normally Wolves are the last team to have anything announced on SSN and I would have thought that if they released the shortlist, it would have also been published on the WWFC website. No sign. Whilst I'm sure that the three that have been made public are on it, I'm sure that there are a couple more that have not been made public. Still think it will be Curbishley, oweing to him being 1/5 on favourite with the bookies, thats a big protection of their money {Ed001's Note - that just means a lot of money has been placed on it, not that they have any idea it is him or not.}
