James Constable to Wolves from Oxford for a fee in the region £600,000

Shrews reject, he just plods along

Jackett being lined up for Watford job.

Not quite. he is premier league class though :)

Jackett is ready to wheel and deal in January.expect a lot of business to be done, have heard he is really disappointed with the ability of some players and the attitude of others.sako one million per cent is going, and I feel that's right for us and him.we need to invest in a proven goal scorer at this level wells and Hanson at Bradford are made for the way we play, surely we can do a deal.not sure kj fancies griffiths, Doyle or siggy and think all 3 could move on.as a division 3 club we could pull in 5 million plus in transfer fees and I'm sure I could get us promoted with a 5 million pound war chest.expect a shake up expect us to be champions, made up were in the hunt, and sure we will make it over the line. In Kenny we trust.the realist.

Wishful thinking I'm afraid. When was the last time we did that many deals in the Jan window? There will be no more than 2 in and 2 out - all loan deals.

So you think Sako won't be sold siggy sold or loaned hennesey sold or loaned Doyle sold or loaned griffiths sold or loaned Ishmael loaned Evans/Davis/price loaned foley and Ohara shipped out.johnson sold on the cheap.times they are a changing.big shake up, Jacketts a wheeler dealer Saunders was a rabbit in the headlights I cudda got a game Connor was a real life sooty or sweep the removal of Morgan's hand was I believe was painful.jacketts his own man Morgan has messed up to many times, the choice will be left to thelwell who in turn will back jackett.the realist.

Ishmael?

Wolves are 3/1 favorites to sign Nanki Wells

How can you say disagree? They are 3/1 with Stan James wich makes them favorite. No science or trickery needed.

Without wanting to appear negative I fear that the only spending in January will be on JOH's wages and the return of RJ.

The two M'shave set there stall out already and that is sell what you can and hope it works, why would they want to spend money whilst we are doing so well and KJ keeps saying we have another gear to move up into which is possibly true but recent results do not lie.

The question is will the two M's gamble and back KJ for a big push (to date his spending has been fruitfully) or think we can bumble on and it will work out, remember Downo talked things up and took us down, the two M's like to be told what they like to hear.

I am not having a go at the team as to date, despite some performances we are where we are because we are better than 22 other teams, fact.

My concern is the two pillocks that created the mess are still there, Moxey has always been bad for Wolves and always will be, but for once I hope he takes a gamble and backs KJ as to date he has delivered his side of the bargain.

Finally, so happy with the current plight of Sandwell Town, best christmas present since I had a chopper bike of santa

Bit of gossip for you.
In Phillips
Wells
Outs
Foley and Ohara Blackpool
Elokobi Swindon
And mcalinden to Cardiff was on the cards but with recent goings on now doubtful.

I would be surprised ay Wells. Firstly we have Griffiths who is a similar type player a goal scoring striker who plays off a number 9. Secondly surely Bradford would hike the price to a club they would deem to be a rival. Personally I would take either Wells or Wilson of Coventry over Griffiths as both have pace and work hard for the team. Although Griffiths would be better himself with a number 9 to play off.

We need pace in our team, everything we do from takin a throw to passin a ball is so slow, even when we break out of defence it's so slow that the opposition have time to get 11 players back behind the ball. Anyway that's my moan over, hope u all have a good Christmas. Paul Tamworth

Play Griffiths and Wells with Doyle or Sako behind. I don't know if KJ does diamond formations though.

Jackett plays with wide men with a 4 4 2 or a 4 5 1 Sako is a goner a complete luxury in the league we are in as is Doyle and I'm not slagging Doyle think he's done well for us in very trying circumstances but he ain't give it biggun and has stayed up for the fight but this league isn't for doyler.we need a target man I've touted a Hanson wells partnership, Phillips is coming and with him there has got to be a target man, maybe we will sign a Hanson type cf, but he feeds of a big man.
Jackett will shake things up of that I'm sure of the current squad he could still try to offload as many as ten players in January.those who think that things are rosy are wrong the quality and hunger of our squad is still poor.promotion? Rebuild job? Getting the vibe that we may still have to take a step back to take a step forward.the realist.

The point of bringing in the young players was to get that hunger back. Most of last season's first team losers have gone. 2 or 3 players may go but 10 no way.

Hennesey foley Johnson Ohara elokobi sigurdarson Doyle Davis forde.theres your starters.

21 Dec 2013 19:40:25
Ok I wasn't counting Johnson and Ohara, just first team squad. I think Siggy will stay.

22 Dec 2013 09:53:05
Jackett has already said Elokobi and Foley will be loaned but they hardly get a game anyway. Why do you think Doyle will go?

Because Doyle doesn't score

Goals per game ratio, plus we can get cash for him, we need two strikers who can get 25 goals between em from now til the end of the season.jackett knows this league, he's tried all possible combinations and nothing has come off.think he will ship two to three strikers and try to bring three in.the realist.

Hennesey 1 million
Doyle 1million
Sako 3 million
Griffo 500k
Davis 350 k

6 million war chest.

How would you spend it?.

Sigurdarson and griffiths are the two strikers moving on, wolves eyeing wells and Donaldson as well as Phillips.

Why sell Doyle, he's our best player? Hennesey is probably our best keeper and if not he's a brilliant back up, and griffiths our top scorer, also, don't call griffiths griffo, he's not your friend just cause you see him at work.

Doyle isn't worth his place due to his lack of goals. He has gone from keeping us up virtually single handed in our 1st season in prem to not worth his place in a league 1 team. It's time for a fresh challenge for Doyle.
