It's a no from me. Didn't want to come to us in the summer. Thought Sunderland was the better option. His heart will not be at Wolves just a pay cheque close to home.

It's out in the public now, put the pieces of the puzzle together such as 'We will only sign impact players' and 'No foreign players'. Frederic Piquionne has not signed, and won't be signing. I stand firm by the fact that the only signing we will have by the end of this transfer window WILL be signing Kenwyne Jones for a fee in the region of £5-7m, but Wolves want to pay the lower end of that sum and obviously, Stoke wanting £7m. Don't expect it all happen immediately, it will be a slow process but I can almost guarantee that Jones will be a Wolves player by the end of January.

It's to provide doyler with competition. Who can score least goals. We can give up on the Jones idea then, why pay 6 mil for a bloke who can score when you can pay 20 grand a week to a bloke who isn't scoring in the championship. Fair play Steve, that's business sense.

Having checked on twitter I'm pretty sure this isn't true! He was good for a few matches for west ham in the prem but i'm sure even mick wouldn't think he'd solve our problems! Still hoping we can get some sort of deal done for jones...
