Looks like we are going to sign David Stockdake from Fulham on loan as De Vries is on his way to Liverpool. Incidentally having also asked for a transfer! Stockdale to make debut at Leeds.

I hope this is true, IF De Vries is going to leave, Stockdale is the best replacement I've heard proposed so far, he would be more than enough for the Championship whilst Hennessey is out. However, I've also heard rumours that Wayne's injury isn't as bad as originally thought, however wolves haven't revealed this in order to make sure he is ours come September.

How much are Wolves looking for De Vires ?
Gibo.

Stockdale in time for Leeds match, lets hope so.

Media Wolf

Wolves are apparently looking for 1mil for De Vries as he still has at least a couple of years left on his contract, I think it could be three. Rumours are that Liverpool have offered us 500,000 but we have rejected.

LuckyWolf

Moxey will pull out of the deal i would not trust him

Anyone stupid enough to give henry a new 4 year deal needs to be sacked (stale out) {Ed011's Note - Wow. This doesn't warrant a reply. Anyone saying Stale out before the first game is a joke of a supporter. We can't know what kind of season we'l have.

14 Aug 2012 21:33:20
Sunderland have made a fresh fresh bid for steven fletcher in the region of 14.5 million

Done deal . Give the money to dumb n dumber.

Its been accepted

Hope it gets accepted...we need put an end to this now...get the money and spend it ..not on the new stand!!

Apparently its 14m and been accepted

Bin a happy clapper but were in the poop.can back up rumours training ground is a war zone.

Where is this info coming from? Can't find anything apart from on unofficial Sunderland sites.

Where did you hear that then

Bulls**t

Stale should be given all incoming transfer money to rebuild the squad. Was this promised by Morgan I remember him saying that?

Nor there have not but a bid of 14mill for fletcher i work at sunderland we have but a bid off over 13 plus mill in for him and wolves said no.there is no deal been done

Sunderland job in education? Cannt spell

Ed, is it true? {Ed011's Note - Nothing has been confirmed by anyone particularly trust worthy and I don't it will be tonight.

Sell sell sell! Get rid and move on quickly!

Thanks Ed, here's hopin it is.

Try and make this clear sunderland bid refused 14 mil plus add-ons suderland will not make any more bids deal is over he is stopping this comes from inside wolves

No new bid Sunderland have said take or leave approach made for dempsy and Santa cruz if they make progress bid will be withdrawn

Ohara is the new sick note...where as most of the normal folk who have Hernia ops are back at work within weeks..(brickies,scaffolders,mechanics and a Bishop to name but a few that I know personally)..having had to wait God knows how long in the NHS queue he has known about this for what seems like an age...Private first rate treatment on the Wolves yet looks like he's spent all his time playing his Xbox or noshing takeaways. He loves the trappings but seems unprepared to work for them considering them a right of passage. I firmly believe he is there for the free ride as long as he can get away with it...bet he isn't on statutory sick pay like the rest of us would be.
TheWolvesVicar

Been thinking the same for months now, he is no better than a benefits sponger to us. obv thats why spurs get rid.

As a vicar should you really be saying "god knows how long" or does he let you off. {Ed011's Note - He's a vicar of Wolvesism - Stan Cullis is God, (Sir) Billy Wright is Jesus and Stevie Bull is St Peter himself.

God knows everything my son and is full of forgiveness...unless your name is Fletcher...and now Ohara...TheWolvesVicar

And that makes Kightly Judas then

Strange that he's "injured" again...just in time for his missus' holiday that she's been tweeting about....
Seem to recall exactly the same thing happening last season.
Hmmmmmm.....

TheWolvesVicar... Do you ever post anything else other than moaning about the players? Pretty bored of reading your nonsense now. If your so fed up, shut up and go support the Tescos.

To tell someone to support the tescos is totaly out of order why dont you.

Fair enough a little harsh as i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies, but to constantly slating our players isn't supporting your team. I can understand everyone is annoyed and disappointed in Fletch, Jarvo and Kightly but O'Hara has even said he wants to pull the shirt on and put in performances. And to actually think less of him because he's injured is just moronic. Anyway why you getting so annoyed by my post? Are you TheWolvesVicar's best mate? TheWolvesChoirBoy?

Thank you to the person that agreed to this.
I'm glad I'm not the only person seeing sense on this site

14 Aug 2012 20:23:39
why dont we send fletcher and jarvis out on loan to sunderland and west ham and when they get relagated next season we can tell them we told u so

Fletcher going for 15 mill to blunder land done deal Jez we should name a stand after you no 14 to bilston but how the f have you pulled that off.

Loan them out to Liverpool or Arsenal etc and there value increases..send them to the relegation candidates and it halves. TheWolvesVicar

Terry conner to be wolves manager by october 66/1 bet fred get on it.

And we are what ? the best club out there lets keep them and we go down again we might without them ?????

14 Aug 2012 19:12:37
if matt jarvis plays n plays his heart out for the club before he leaves i will say thank you for trying but i just think both fletch n jarvis should give us till january n if were not doing anygood then let em go with the fans blessing thoughts?

Great idea, would also offer prem wages to them from Feb if we are top 3. If we are not then let them go. Win Win?

Dan Wolves

No way there off . Bring in the kids we won't boo them . We might stay up . Jez gets a whopping bonus player of the season gets to rent a house off Morgan in Compton. Norway win the Eurovision with solbakken singin a cover of all by myself by Eric carmen

Tee hee

14 Aug 2012 18:29:00
SteveBullStand - To be fair I think Jarvis would play for us if he doesn't get his move. He not as stubborn as Fletcher. So if he doesn't move he will play on the wings with Peszko. Hopefully them 2 should start at Leeds.

14 Aug 2012 18:18:04
this what will happen and as wolves fans you will agree...
kitley gone 3m
jarvis 10m
fletcher 15m
rumours on ward 3m plus any others we can sell
so we have got a defo 28m plus morgan promised stale funds before offers came in for above.
we will not pay above 3m for players i reckon and they will wait till january to see where we are in the league, fans short changed again.we need some quality players in and not free transfers or loan deals

Dont spend come jan fighting to stay up

14 Aug 2012 18:10:07
14 Aug 2012 13:37:34
Sunderland will not make another offer for Fletcher. Current offer will remain on table

(jim)

14 Aug 2012 17:48:34
have read weve sold fletch...14m....tis on a few rumour sites

14 Aug 2012 17:20:20
Hearing £14 mill for fletch agreed, good money, but was the extra 2 mill worth missing out on 2 or 3 players? Hope we get sum players in now

This is according to Salut! Sunderland - who quote from BBC (however I couldn't seem to find anything on BBC website!)

14 Aug 2012 17:09:44
Lots of people moaning about there being hardly any time left to bring in players. The thing is Stale could have a short list full of players and we could be on the verge of signing any of them. As all wolves supporters should know by now the board keep very tight lipped over transfers take Doumbia for example none of us knew about that before it happened. What I'm trying to say is keep positive because you never know whats around the corner especially with Wolves, its not the end of the world if we don't sign anyone by the Leeds game there is still plenty of time left yet Geromel is not the last CB in the world and its now apparent that Stale is out looking for a CB and i believe he will get one in before September.

FWAW

& let's not forget, the loan window opens up in mid September running through to end of December. So further opportunity to bring in reinforcements

14 Aug 2012 16:10:15
Rather fed up today folks....

Take a look at the GUESS & STIR's stories on wolves, scroll down at all the headlines, then do the same on the tesco's links

Have we really been pushed that far apart already ?

hard times ahead me's thinks.....

Probably, but rememember the E and S is biased towards Tesco's {Ed011's Note - I'm sure they'd disagree!

14 Aug 2012 15:36:40
Get rid of Fletcher and buy Hooper much better player

Have posted earlier not been published the lunatics have taken over the asylum.trust me.

14 Aug 2012 15:11:44
We will sell fletch and jarvis on or after the 29th august, conveniently leaving us no time to re invest.
We took a huge hit financially and morgan will not miss the opportunity to balance the books.

Bored baggies + broadband= bad combination.

Gibo.

Good thing the window closes on the 3rd. Still time to bring players in if we sell on the 29th.

Bore off. This is for rumour and gossip...not agenda filled, fantasy posts.

U r wrong gibo he is right what he is saying

Gibo, u may bsaying, boring ect, but only last week the go ahead was given for the steve bull to be re-built, again maybe me puttin 2 n 2 n getting 21. But what was the projected cost of the new steve bull? £25mil if i remember correctly, and would it suprise any1?
I hope its me just being a pesamist, but we havent spent a great deal, just on sigi so far! Im sure, or at least id hope, if SS had the mney we would have got a couple more in!

Mosey playing a dangerous game, who really think Jarvis and fletcher are worth a combined 25 million take the money and reinvest in youth , build for the future .

At present wolves have spent zip recouped from sales more than spent FACT i doubt either fletcher or jarvis will be at wolves long term however will there be sufficient time in the window to bring in viable replacements we sgud grasp the mettle and offer berra n 3 million to bburn for dann and offer hfield the 6 million there asking for rhodes

We are not in a bad financial so this is wrong.

Rumour fletcher goin. 14mil bid accepted!!

Not a bored baggie mate, wait and see.

Sunderland unlikely to offer more. Fans already saying £13m too much. Wolves seeming to want to drag it out. Previous post could well be spot on.
No other bids other than from us. If deal not done you will not have the funds, nor a striker willing to give 100%.
( Jarvis ? make that two )

Jeez.

Jeez.

Apparently yous have accepted a new fresh fresh bid of 14.5 million for him and I'm not talking about the 13 million of this morning we have put a new bid this evening and it's apparently been accepted (princ£y)

Were did we take a huge financially hit dont tell me because we drop out of the prem morgan knew this and let it happen puting dipstick connor in

Genuine wolves fan who has posted many many times on this site and have been told by two sources from inside mol this week that it's close to mutiny on the training ground we are in big big t.rouble massive divide between CEO who's backing stale and the players who have not bought in to the changes in any way shape or form, there is a storm brewing of epic proportions the first time I heard was from a player and thought it was sour grapes today's source is very very reliable.

All the persons we have at the club are getting found out for being crap! not surprised their getting scared and playing up! new players in/ old rubbish out please

Dan Wolves

And who is your source a bored boggie fan. i was at the game saturday didnt look like a divide between players and manager to me

My sources are very good I've told you not being dramatic this is what I've heard first hand if yore a betting man get on solbakken to be first out player power is taking over.

This hurts me more than you would believe but it's true I'm as shocked as anyone I didnt want to hear it but it's true we are up poo creek.

Don't like take the ffing door, nobody at the wolves should have the gall to question the new management. Just remember that 5-1 debacle we have to live with and a humiliating relegation without even a whimper!

Totally agree mate no player bigger than the club if they dont like it then do 1 .
And as for genuine source no way pal you don't know jack so kiss mom nite nite and go and dream of more bullsh-t you can put on here!!The manager was bought in to sort the rubbish out and so far so good!

So far so good? weve still got the majority of the rubbishe from last year and all our best players are going!

Don't shoot the messenger I'm telling you what I've been told first hand, like I say it's not what I wanted to hear and it shocked me but you must admit a lot of players want out all of a sudden anyway I've told you as it is watch this space.

Our team is not rubbish mate and as far as getting rid of our best players Berra wants out kightly Jarvis and fletcher all greedy we don't want to sell its them that put in transfer requests .things will take time unless you want another Pompey or Leeds !!

"A lot of players want out all of a sudden" Kightly was offered Premiership football. Fletcher,Jarvis and De Vries want to play Premiership football. This scenario would have happened under any manager. As for Berra,I,m baffled why he would ask to leave. Even his mother wouldn't want him. {Ed011's Note - Little bit harsh to Berra...

14 Aug 2012 14:57:20
O'HARA OUT INJURED... AGAIN.

"Hernia injury robs Wolves of Jamie O'Hara

Tuesday 14th August 2012, 12:30PM BST.
Hernia injury robs Wolves of Jamie O'Hara

Wolves fear Jamie O'Hara could miss a chunk of the season through injury – as Stephen Ward and Kevin Foley underwent scans."

Damn, I was looking forward to seeing him in action this season. I think he'd kill in the championship, this is a real blow

What pisses me off, ohara wanted to stay in prem untill he got injured and no club wants him, if he wasnt injured he would of put transfer request in, so now hes gona use us to nurse him through is injury then do a kightly to us you watch

Surprise surprise

It says a chunk then it says could be a few weeks so im not to alarmed ATM

Jeez what is up with him now ,,getting a joke now with him and edwards

It also says he might only be out for a week.
Got to love the g&s

2 much shagging. Thts wht Ohara's problems down 2..

14 Aug 2012 13:42:05
Nah pedro turned us down wants to play in Spain

This is one of my points mate, were happy to sell our best players at high prices, holding out for every penny, but when we come to replace them we will of missed out on Stale's first second third choice replacements, due to penny pinching and leaving things till the last minuite, then Stale will get his forth choice on his short list, then when it all goes pete tong he will be sacked, people will blame him for bad buy's and moxey gets off again scott free !!

Mills wolf

This i what i been saying all summer they are dragging it out to see if stale can do it on a very very tight budget

moxey gets his bonus
morgan spends no money

where has the 60 mil we got for being in the prem last year gone
and dont say wages coz we pay them by going game and buying burgers off moxeys sister.

wake up people

bet all our sales are undisclosed aswell so they can put a bit straight in there pocket why else would the sales be undisiclosed ??

Really? i was getting my hopes up about this signing..... it good at all if this true

Mate the player has said he wants to play in Spain how can you blame moxey?! And the other one (forgot his name already) signed to a German club with a huge sign on fee and wages, why pay over the odds stupidly? Mikey

Mills wolf it is not morgans, moxeys or stales fault he wants to play in spain, they cannot control wolves being in england

Mills, tell me where a you got "penny pinching" from a player who turned us down because he "wants to play in spain"?

IanWolves

I think it's more because he'd rather live there than Wolverhampton and who could blame him.

They are in financial difficulties so I very much doubt they're offering any more than us.

CalWWFC

Why would top players want to play in the championship while we are there our top players will want premiership and top foreign players will also want top flight football - pants i know but fact of life

Hows it penny pinching ? we offered 3mill same as the la legia clubs he wants to go to spain not cause of us not offering him low wages

Pedro signed for £3.5m to Athelico Madrid with immediate loan to Sevillia

Droiwich Wolf

The lunatics have taken over the asylum kighthly fletcher Jarvis Berra milijas hamill say goodbye to your horse

Cos wolves offer rubbish wages.... thats penny pinching folks.... money talks. simples

Same reason we missed out on that other defender ragardless of the spin moxey puts on it.

Mills wolf

14 Aug 2012 13:10:39
You have got to give moxey credit for sticking to his guns but Fletcher wants to leave! Let him! Fletcher isn't worth 15m to us if he isn't gonna play properly because he wants to go, we need him to be 100% with the team in order for us to get promoted... But he isn't so why not sell him and use the money to bring in a bunch of good defenders? We are going to be in big trouble this season me thinks...

Take 13 mil and get someone in who wants to play for us!! Get Jarvis, Berra Milijas and whoever else wants out, gone!! This is turnin in to a farce!

U rele think he isnt gonna play 100%? If he doesnt he wont ever get a move!

If I wanted out from my job I wouldn't put the effort in as I did when I first started.

You dont know its 13 mill for a start.

It won't be less than 12! We're in danger of ballsin it up! If fletcher and Jarvis stay what money will the manager get? Not enough to get us promoted that's for sure! Cash in on players who don't want to wear our shirt! Now!

Not selling will be very damaging to our chances this coming season, we need new personnel and that hinges on fletchers or jarvis departures.

But your not going to move anyway because your employers are charging a price which no one will meet.

14 Aug 2012 12:57:15
4 words shut up stop moaning

This is the Rumours page so why is there so much banter on here when we have a dedicated banter page?

Yeah sorry, i know. I thought id clicked on banter sorry. didnt mean to cause WW3 on rumours page, sorry ed and guys.

The Club is an unnecessary state of flux, caused by the inability of Moxey to properly manage the Football side of the Business

Strategically, Steve Morgan is step changing our future. On a day to day basis, his decision to leave the football side to someone who has continually failed at key times, both Here and at Stoke, is costing us dear.

We werent Relegated… we were utterly humiliated. The 'scars' from that humiliation are really starting to show now.

We start the Season with a new Manager, looking increasingly bewildered and frustated.

His Number 2, is not his choice, and is personally demotivated and frustrated, he is not the Number 1 himself. He remains here because he is related by Marriage to Moxey, and also because there is no demand for his Services elsewhere.

The much vaunted Role of Football Director was appropriately sidelined by You Know Who.

After appointing his 'Not for a Novice' Bro in Law , we persisted with this doomed strategy, till the very end of the Season and achieved zero further wins.

Our New Manager, with no experience of modern era Prmiership or Championship Football, doesnt even start work until July (barring watching a Season of DVD's back Home)

Surprise Surprise, we end up with a host of demotivated players, trying to engineer moves away on the eve of the start of the season.

We have a Manager using words like 'turmoil'to describe the state of play days before the 1st League Game

If You want a benchmark, then look no further than the Suitors of our best Players.

Sunderland.. Sacked their Manager at a time when it was possible to entice the right replacmeent. By the time we beat them here, they had Martin O Neill in the Stands plotting their recovery

West Ham: Relegated. They went very quickly for a 'Job' Manager to give them the best chance of an immediate return. They also made an immediate marquee signing in Kevin Nolan, to signal to their Fans and wantaway Stars, that it was a 'Straight Back Up' Plan

Stoke (Kightly)… Oh how their Fans yearn for the Return of Moxey, a Half Empty Stadium and Lower League Football.

Strange how the Coates Family who re purchased the Stoke didnt poach him to help guide the Club back from the abyss

Wow.. they must truly regret that decision everyday

Our Mess is of our own Making

MILLS WOLF

With the greatest of respect, Mills Wolf, your whole post is wrong.

IanWolves

Sunderland sacked Bruce yet under O'Neill they finished in a lower league position than the season before Bruce. All that glitters aint gold.We all know the timing was wrong , I doubt Merlin the magician aka Mick McCarthy would of kept us up.
Gibo.

Well aslo with the greatest of respect Ian.

Could you enlighten me & elaborate your statement, as my post is very long and to simply say that the whole thing is wrong, you could at least tell me why ?

Mills wolf

Yes true gibo, but under O'Niel they stayed up when at one point it looked like they would go down.

Mills wolf #wrongsideofbed

His number 2 is Lange apparently! Nobody seems to know what Connors job role is.

Mills Wolf's #headsgone :-D

Gibo.

Last season was more Bruce than O'Neill. I think some basic maths will reveal who harvested the more points per match.

Sorry mills wolf normally agree with you but I don't at all with this post.
We started the new season with a new manager looking bewildered and frustrated. I didn't I look optimistic as it seems like a good brave appointment.
Perhaps Terry Connor remains here as he has a large number of coaching qualifications and knows the way of the team in a way stale doesn't. We stuck with him till the end of the season and I'm not saying that's right but we got turned down by a few targets and anyway I doubt anyone would of kept us up at that stage.
Gibo made the point about Sunderland/ oniell
Our manager is being honest if he started to say everything is fine no doubt people would say he's trying to take fans for fools. He's very intelligent and if you think he doesn't say the right things you haven't seen his press talk where he spoke about creating a culture at the club.
West ham may have gone back up but they have alladyce... That's going to be attractive, flowing football for them next season isn't it. Probably go back down.
I'm not saying moxey is perfect and the board haven't made mistakes but we could do much, much worse. I didn't expect such a negative post from you as you are usually quite optimistic
Mikey

*sigh* Alright.

"The Club is an unnecessary state of flux, caused by the inability of Moxey to properly manage the Football side of the Business" - Moxey does not deal with the football side of the business. He is paid to balance the books. The coaching staff deal with the footballng side.

"Strategically, Steve Morgan is step changing our future. On a day to day basis, his decision to leave the football side to someone who has continually failed at key times, both Here and at Stoke, is costing us dear." - Again missing the point of Jez's role. But since Jez arrived we have spent 4 seasons in the Prem, 2 survivals, at least 2 of which we turned a profit. Something no other club in the division, bar Arsenal, did. Off the pitch we are in a great shape, because of one man, Jez Moxey. As for Stoke he engineered their move to The Brit, which Stoke's fans will readily admit was unpopular at the time but turned out to be the right thing to do.

"We werent Relegated¦ we were utterly humiliated. The 'scars' from that humiliation are really starting to show now." - We lost heavy in many games. I don't see how the players are 'scarred' though. Many players have been relegated and can bounce back.

"We start the Season with a new Manager, looking increasingly bewildered and frustated." - What is this based on? He's implementing a new style of play, this takes time.

"His Number 2, is not his choice, and is personally demotivated and frustrated, he is not the Number 1 himself. He remains here because he is related by Marriage to Moxey, and also because there is no demand for his Services elsewhere." - Terry Connor is not related to Moxey. Not even by marriage. This is a blatent lie. Moxey's wife is American, TC is from Yorkshire. TC staying was Stale's choice and Stale wanted him to stay.

"The much vaunted Role of Football Director was appropriately sidelined by You Know Who." - Moxey or Morgan? Plans change. Deal with it.

"After appointing his 'Not for a Novice' Bro in Law , we persisted with this doomed strategy, till the very end of the Season and achieved zero further wins." - We tried to bring in other managers, when they lead us down the garden path only to turn us down, what could we do?

"Our New Manager, with no experience of modern era Prmiership or Championship Football, doesnt even start work until July (barring watching a Season of DVD's back Home)" - He started in July due to contract reasons. When you sign a player they don't start a contract with you until the 1st of July. I would assume it's the same with Stale considering he is on a fixed contract and not a rolling 1 year deal like Mick was.

"Surprise Surprise, we end up with a host of demotivated players, trying to engineer moves away on the eve of the start of the season." - again, untrue, only Fletcher and Berra have handed in transfer requests. Jarvis has verbally asked for offers to be considererd but is not asking to leave as such. The rest of the players are committed to playing for Wolves. So 3 maximum want out. Hardly a whole 'host'.

"We have a Manager using words like 'turmoil'to describe the state of play days before the 1st League Game" - If you read Stale's quotes in the E&S, at no point did he say 'turmoil'. He said the endless transfer speculation is unsettling for everyone involved at the club but at no stage did he describe the club as in 'turmoil'. That was typical E&S 'attach a sensational headline'. Read quotes not headlines.

"If You want a benchmark, then look no further than the Suitors of our best Players." - Sunderland and Stoke? Yes. We can look at them when we are up there. Until then I'd suggest we look at West Brom. It is unpopular to look at them as a role model but the bounce back time after time after time. We can look to Stoke and Sunderland when we get up there, but not yet.

"Sunderland.. Sacked their Manager at a time when it was possible to entice the right replacmeent. By the time we beat them here, they had Martin O Neill in the Stands plotting their recovery" - Different situation. We had no reason to sack Mick then. We had not dropped into the bottom 3 at any stage by then.

"West Ham: Relegated. They went very quickly for a 'Job' Manager to give them the best chance of an immediate return. They also made an immediate marquee signing in Kevin Nolan, to signal to their Fans and wantaway Stars, that it was a 'Straight Back Up' Plan" - We went down, moved quickly for a new manager. Stale Solbakken. A manager with a proven winning record on the continent. We quickly signed Bjorn Bergman Sigurdarson, an expensive (what you say) 'marquee' signing. We want to go back up. Everyone at the club has said it. If they players want out then we have to get the best fee we can for them.

"Stoke (Kightly)¦ Oh how their Fans yearn for the Return of Moxey, a Half Empty Stadium and Lower League Football." - Like I said earlier, the fans of Stoke generally agree that Moxey's work was good in the long run. It put the groundwork in place for their promotion and survival.

"Strange how the Coates Family who re purchased the Stoke didnt poach him to help guide the Club back from the abyss" - They didn't no. They got a different man in. Like we will do when Moxey leaves. Be it 5 weeks or 5 years Moxey will leave at some stage. But we are in an incredible financial position where we don't have to sell. Moxey did this.

Wow.. they must truly regret that decision everyday

Our Mess is of our own Making

IanWolves.

Connor is his number 2, lange is simply a coach, but vrs aldershot there was only 1 person barking orders..... Lange, it does seem wierd thatconnor is stillhere, not many fans rate him.
I kinda agree with the original comment, moxey has no clue about thefootball side of a club, the business side yes, but not football, a DOF would have hampered his control on the club! U only have to look at the pplin charge of our club (business men) to seehow we will b run, profitable! Balancing the books is good, but in football u have to take calculated risks, look at newcastle, ashley balanced the books, but took risks, bought in 5 or 6 low vale players, cabaye tiote ben arfa santon from abroad, he only need 1 to b a success to recoup the money from all the rest, but they all paid off, he cud make 50 60 mill if he wanted to sell them all. Thats the calculated risks wolves dont seemto want to do!

TOP POST MATE, YOU GET IT

Mills wolf

Mills Wolf is correct! My sister jknows a member of the Wolves board very well and TC is the brother in law of Jaz Moxey which is why he was kept on despite the farce of last season. I doubt whether SS had much say in the matter.

Ian, i respect you opinion, and clearly you put it accross with reasoning, but read it back, alot of it is just an opinion like mine, some of the thing you say have proven me wrong and im big enuff to hold my hands up such as the GUESS & STIR headline not quote.

Thanks for backing your arguement up with reasoning, i have a much higher opinion of you for doing this. To be honest i needed to here alot of what you said as i woke up in a grumpy mood before going off on one.

your striker McAlinden is having a medical at Eveton today, they kept that one hushed up then.

Lol!! I know him and he is away in Hungary with the Northern Ireland U21's.

Rubbish.

WHAT A TOTAL & UTTER COMPLETE SHAMBLES, WAKE UP !

For weeks now ive been going with the same idea's of you guy's that we need to have faith, be patient & let the changes happen....

Well i've woken up from my brain washing lads, were DAY'S away from the new season starting with no idea who is going to be there to play at leeds, ALL of our best players who were good enough for the prem have asked to leave !

WHY ? Cos our board always does the opposite to any other team that's been in our situation.

Struggled to stay up then relagated without a fight, most other team's through Jan would of strenghtened up and sacked manager way before we did, then appointed a manager with the no how to at least try to keep us up.

What did we do ? Nothing, just wait till it was too late, bought no one in then gave the job to clipboard who hasnt even managed a team in the conferance before never mind a survival battle in the prem.

WE GET RELAGATED, okay it happens, but then what does every other team that want to push straight back up do ? eg Newcastle & Albion & west ham.....

... They keep there squad together, making sure that there better players are happy and contracted up for a while, they pay them fair wages. AFTER ALL THIS WAS A SIDE THAT GOT EM TO THE PREM IN THE FIRST PLACE.

WHAT DO WOLVES DO ?? Again we do the exact oposite as usual, we HALF the wages to an already fairly low wage budget, bring in a unheard of foriegn manager who upset nearly every player in his last job and got there club relagated... then BIG COINSIDENCE everyone start handing in transfer requests !!

So far we lost HAMMIL, KITES & VOKES, TRANSFER LISTED MILIJAS, AND ACCEPTED TRANSFER REQUESTS FROM JARVO, FLETCHER & BERRA

Who we bought in ?? a free transfer no one wanted in Nouble, a player who has potential in Bjorn but played in vastly inferier league to championship and two loan deals of player we've never heard of.

THE ONLY THING WE NEEDED TO DO IS KEEP HOLD OF THE SQUAD, KEEP EM HAPPY AND STREGHTEN THE DEFFENCE....

***** AND WE HAVE DONE NIETHER HAVE WE !! ***********

scouser & pie man could become the next bhatti bro's

MILLS WOLF

Agree with u. Get rid of those who want to go and let our new manager get players in he wants! If not there wasn't any point givin him the job!!

DUN DUN DUN!

The next Bhatti Brothers who have improved facilities at Wolves and provided 3 seasons of top flight football?

Bore off.

The club is owned and run by persons in my opinion and we will find it hard to sign any decent players as the manager is an unknown quantity.

33/1 with bet 365 to go down looks a bit high to me!

Mills Wolf this is very unlike you , the transfer window is still open and I doubt uncle Jez and SS put all their eggs in one basket regarding players we are looking at.Keep the faith.
Gibo.

Quik someone get mills wolf his medication!

calm down our best players are not that good if they think they cant handle the championship and are money grabbing SOBs

we are not man city do youwant us bankrupt?

we did nothing last season because if we had left mcarthy in charge till the summer we would have stayed we didnt sack till we did because morgan had faith because mm kept us up for 2 years sure it was by the skin of our teeth but it worked and then sack mm in the summer

we havent lost hammil jarvo or fletch yet

all the players have potential everton wanted BBS and just because we have not heard of them means they are sh*t
no one heard of chicirito of man u and sunderlands mcclean came from the irish league

morgan and moxey have done well to keep this great club debt free

i will not hear a bad word against solbakken morgan and moxey so you calm down and you'll see by the end of the season when we get promoted that you mills wolf was very wrong indeed
ALFA WOLF

Your room must feel practically tropical with the amount of hot air you have just expelled!!
Its pretty simple really... Jarvo has conducted himself fine but if not sold I have no doubt he will play to the best of his ability whilst at Wolves.
Fletcher has acted like a bit of a brat (according to the ever reliable press) and now we have a manger who is a lot more stern than pally, pally, chummy MM he has thrown his toys out of the pram and wants off which is fine if a club pays £15m+ but they haven't so he can stay put.
I would have preferred to see more defensive players come in to be honest but at the same time I didn't expect Stale to rebuild a whole team in just 2-3 months!

Dan Wolves

Stale is trying to make wholesale changes to the team and style, it doesn't happen over night and will take time!!!

I'm not too worried about the start of the season bearing in mind Reading were in 16th position last November.
Gibo.

Sorry gibo and to the rest of you.

i must of woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning.

But i cant help that thining most of us including me in recent moths are buying into the Moxey spin again.....

No i dont want to see us bankrupt, but i also think halving the wages of one of the cheapest wage bills in the prem is stupid, to not make acceptions to our better players, these sort of mistakes can cost us dear.

Then theres the fact of if Sunderland are willing to pay 12 million plus for one of our players he must be usefull, who are we going to replace him with ?

You cant expect to sell players like Jarvo, Kites, Fletcher and replace them with good enuff players in two weeks, we needed to hit the ground running, too long we have known geting beat and lossing, lossing bring loosers mentality, something that needed to be haulted for the sake of the club and fans.

Just look at Southhampton, they walked league one, carried it into the championship and look where they are now, there winning mentality did that, the opposite could happen to us, why dont you see that ?

You all talk about rebuilding, accepting mid table but who says we wont be in a relagation scrap ?

Im not saying we didnt need a overhaul im saying we needed to conduct it properly with the right timing a key to this, something i think isnt happening.

We was right to sack Mick, but the timing and conduct of it was rubbish and cost us dear....

Are we heading for the same fate again ?

Will we see all that money invested back into the club ?

Some of you have very short memories, we spent 18 years out of the top flight dont forget, going straight back up is normally your best shot & the longer you take to put things into place the harder it gets.

But if your all happy to see the gap between Stoke & Albion to Wolves get further and further then fair enuff.

There's a reason why blackburn and wolves got relagated, they both left it too late to make changes, Sunderland didnt and they got them selves out of it.

West Ham kept there squad together (even with wages twice that as wolves in the prem) as did albion and got straight back up, were going against the grain again...

... lets see what happens, i dont want to be right, i dont want to be negative, but i dont want to buy into the normal spial that comes out of wolves what so many of us lap up each year.

Mills wolf (trying to) KEEP THE FAITH

We reject another offer for fletch from an "Unnamed club" sky sports news

Legless wolf

Sunderland fan here, sorry to come on but we did make a bid in excess of 12mill,jesus wtf is wrong with ur owners they wanted 12mill they got offered a bit more, but they now want even more, even greedier than levy from spurs,i know it isnt the fans fault but i hope it bites moxey on the arse in years to come(karma)anyway gd luck for the season lads and lasses hope u come back up...

Our board wants £15m and has never wanted less than that. The club is in a strong financial position and the players has 3 years on his contract. We have no need to sell, and that's even with a transfer request.

Dunno where that 12 mil figure came from. Probably the media. Kind of "You offered 10, they asked for 15 so will take 12" kind of thing.

14 Aug 2012 12:04:52
SteveBullStand- Wolves have rejected another Steven Fletcher Bid from Sunderland.

14 Aug 2012 11:48:46
whats happing with this club mun, we lost out on another defender by the looks as we would only pay 3 m in 3 stages, then wouldnt offer a good deal for wages lost out on 2 cbs now, its the board it is sell fletch sell jarvo stop being greedy cash in so stale can buy and insted off thinking about morgans pocket worry what players wolves need to buy to give the fans somthink decent to watch on a saturday

Pedro Geromel has stated he wants to play in Spain

Pedro Geromel has also said he doesn't want 2nd tier football

14 Aug 2012 11:12:30
Wolves have pulled out the race for Pedro Geromel

Poxey penny pinching again

Pedro Geromel has said he wants to go to Spain and that he doesn't want 2nd tier football. Something we can't change.

"Poxey penny pinching again". Get your facts right first, moron.

14 Aug 2012 10:44:40
Wolves except 12 million bid plus Blair Adams on permanent deal for fletcher. Sourse Cronicle. Adams is S**t!

Considering Jexz Moxey has just released another statement saying Wolves valuation of Fletcher's has not been met yet.
Gibo.

14 Aug 2012 10:40:54

14 Aug 2012 09:56:14
Safc fan in peace turns out your keeping ward after all thank you to the football gods

14 Aug 2012 09:50:20
Tim Nash reporting that Milijas has been placed on the transfer list - about time too.

Mccarthy completely ruined his career and robbed us of a great player

I think smoking 40 a day ruined Milijas' chances. Shame, cos I think he is a cracking player

14 Aug 2012 09:34:14
Milijas transfer listed ...

14 Aug 2012 09:26:55
Only a thought but have all these players given Stale a month and realised he ain't what he's cracked up to be, so want out ?

14 Aug 2012 09:24:35
Milijas put on transfer list

New signing today and out going too watch this space

Who??

Fingers crossed! We need to ship the 'Squad players' out and replace with quality but as we all know this takes time.

WOLVES left-back Stephen Ward is not thought to be on the verge of a move to Sunderland, despite reports to the contrary.Stories last night suggested the Republic of Ireland was closing in on a £3million switch to the Stadium of Light.

But the Echo understands Sunderland have not made a bid for Ward (pictured), who made 37 Premier League appearances for last season's top-flight basement boys.
