Souness is the man they want till the end of the season.A big bonus if he keeps us up.Morgan knows him very well through his Liverpool links.

When was the last time he was in managment?..just because hes a mate doesnt mean he will be our saviour

I've got a mate!

I didn't say he was going to be our saviour!!But Id rather him than Bruce or Warnock.

So when he turned down the scottish national team management role nov 2009 saying he had no desire to return to management at any level he was really holding out for a premier league relegation fight. Yer right!!

Also why would he want to manage a club he had tried to buy, only to be beaten to it by the current owner???

I'd rather Wolves had kept McCarthy

Its just been mentioned outside training ground, PAUL INCE! Watch SSN and his name will pop up on favourite list.

Great bloke, great player but great manager? No sorry!

Now he will take you down

13 Feb 2012 17:06:15
Clue is in moxeys sky interview. He talks about potential short term appt. I have source in club who confirms Souness is the man

Souness for me need discipline in the team organisation he will bring that and he can definitely rev them up for thirteen games that's all we need till the end of season no manager will come in now to build a side it's all about winninng games till the end

hi ed, do you know anything at all about the extent of bassongs injury (hamstring I think) and any news on a new manager I've read that morgan thinks curbs has the criteria they are looking for cheers {Ed001's Note - I have not heard anything on it, hopefully that is because it is just a knock. A pull will be a bare minimum 2 weeks out, but a tear is looking at 2 months on the sidelines. The only manager I know of Morgan ever asking to take charge of Wolves is Rafa, but Rafa has always laughed it off in the past as it was never a serious question. I was told to expect someone in quickly though, which leads me to believe that Morgan has an out of work manager in mind.}

I knew he was getting sacked! Morgan quoted as saying "we've had many conversations over the past few weeks". It is easy to see how I got my information. Some of you idiots have a go but genuinely all I post is what I hear! For me I'm sick of posting to people who just insult you
Wolvesinsider

Well dont post then. Youve made categoric statements that havent come true. Just because he has finally gone doesnt prove a thing in your defence!

Think it was just frustration m8 dont take it to heart, the board have been indecisive throughout, and fans were sick of what they were seeing they thought he would be sacked and turned on you when he stayed, in the end it was always gonna happen, just not really a prem manager.

Terry Connor left in charge ? Get the lot out but as usual to little to late the damage has been done.

Leave wolves insider alone. as moxey stated his job was at risk against sunderland and qpr

Cheers.

Sky Sources: Rafael Benitez rules himself out of the running for Wolves job

Must be in the running then if he has ruled himself out. If you want the job you get less money for it, play it down and let them come running for you:-0

Gus poyet with ray wilkins as coach , up coming manager with a wise head to organise players (chelsea miss him big time ) , thanx mick but time was right , wolves forever !

Hmmm.... think plagiarism is afoot here lol. Been on the teamtalk Your say site by any chance lol

May be just coincidence..Karl Robinson and Alex Rae sat in front of me at the match yesterday.

Wonder if morgan has someone lined up before mick was sacked

Good call,
Interview booked for the 17th.

Where do you sit then?

Would be interesting but curbs for me took an average charlton team to 7th n 10th

Alan Curbishley the man for me.

Billy Wright Upper. Just to the left behind Directors box.
Alex was signing autographs

He hasnt managed for nearly 4yrs, surely he is going to be out of touch. We need impact asap.

I saw Karl and Alex too. It was sunday and I guess there was a few managers there.

Once you have it you never lose it as the old saying goes

Paul Ince favorite to become the next manager of the Wolves.

Love paul but was crap at blackburn

He hasn't really had much success in a managerial position though. Surely just because he is a 'fans favourite' isn't going to be enough to earn him the right to the position. Sacking Mick means that they have to get someone more experience; which isn't Ince

How about curbisheley, with ince as 1st team coach,he would command the respect of the team, something which clip board obviously hasn't got!

That would be ideal but I doubt Ince sees himself as an assistant.

Curbishley had just said on sky sports news he is interested in Taking over wolves.

Was he any good last job west ham may be him with ince

Could be a good move for Wolves, least he has the Premier League experience

Curbishley for me but so sad it finished in such a horrible way for Mick. We owe him big time but I think it is time to move on. Thanks Mick and good luck!

He should be first choice, look what he did when he took over at West Ham winning 7 of there last 9 games.

The guy hasnt worked for four years. We dont need another dinosaur manager, time to follow the Swansea and Norwich route and get a young guy in with some new ideas and passion.

Just remember Lambert is not for sale

Wolves official twitter announced Mick McCarthy has left the club with immediate effect. Terry Connor caretaker unfortunately

Connor should have been the first to go

Connor is in charge until the new manager is appointed.

Connor needs to go to - lacks imagination and clearly lost the abiltiy to motivate. Fresh start please guys.

He will not be staying just until a new manager comes in.

Take his clipboard away he would a meltdown

Please dont take the job of him collecting the cones down the training ground because that was all mick would let him do

13 Feb 2012 10:56:33
Mccarthy has been sacked, sky sports news!

13 Feb 2012 10:30:26
Some of the bookies have stopped taking bets on McCarthy being the next PL manager to be sacked, with Rafa Benitez favourite to replace him.
