It won't translate for me, but looking at Mol Mix, from that same article they reckon it's Ding Lei buying Wolves and Robin li buying Milan, so they reckon Robin Li not involved in Wolves at all.
If so I think / feel, compared to Robin Li that's really bad, Robin Li seemed really dynamic, Western and special, just seemed totally right for us. Hopefully it's just their confusion over the Posum Group, maybe they're all involved in that but Robin Li still the one doing Wolves.
I suspect if the E&S had it right about a takeover but were naming the wrong person in stating and putting up a photo of Robin Li, Wolves would have at least corrected them, surely?

I got the page translated, I'm going to guess it's a misunderstanding.
They aren't quoting their own direct / original sources on this bit, they refer to earlier reports, seemingly that they've seen in our media, that Robin Li is buying AC Milan. And I'd guess they're assuming he can't also buy Wolves, they've found the old E&S article linking Ding and assumed that - Li for Milan and Lei for Wolves. But it seems to be wrong, in that they are saying Robin Li, and assume therefore Baidu are buying Milan, when our press say it's a consortium called the Posum Group. It may just be them misunderstanding that Milan is through a consortium.
Or we may have it wrong and they've got it right. But that Spanish agent who leaked all this was asked directly on twitter if Robin Li was buyer of Wolves, he said yes, and all confirmations of paperwork being approved by FA, say Robin Li not Ding.
We'll see.

I think Lopetegui will take over if Robin Li purchases the club. Kenny Jackett will stay if Ding Lei becomes the owner. Thelwell will go regardless of who takes over as will Moxey.

Ely only signed for AC Milan last year and is on a 4 year contract, reports say this would be a possible 12 loan deal. Also ties in with the Robin Li takeover. Brazilian born but has Italian dual citizenship so should not be an issue on registration if it comes off. Central defender.

Just read that his contract is £16k a week, so it's definitely a signing that the incoming manager wants and Li's paying for and it's the new project that will have interested him. He wouldn't have signed for us if the takeover wasn't happening. Jackett wouldn't have lured him and Morgan/ Moxey definitely wouldn't have paid £16k a week. He'd have gone to Hull.

Re how Robin Li made his money, from what I've seen it's all been through innovation and enterprise, all totally clean and decent, he was even appointed in 2015 by Ban Ki Moon as Co-chair of a UN commission investigating data opportunities for the UN or something.
Maybe it's just because he worked with some very big American companies and is considered very Western by conservative elements in China? I guess as well there are growing pains in China as it develops and modernises, maybe it's just hard for all of a (perhaps former) Communist Country's people to relate positively to very wealthy (from capitalism) individuals? I wouldn't disrespect Chinese peoples opinion, but Robin Li seems to me the epitome of a business man with decency and I'm sure he'll prove to be at Wolves.

I would strongly urge that we all stay grounded. I fear the worst of disappointment if this Robin Li "deal " rumour proves to be false. I don't want to hear of people topping themselves or worse still switching to WBA.
I believe that Mr Morgan told a friend 2/ 3 weeks back that there was no solid offer from anyone. I realise that the Li deal could have developed subsequently and I sincerely hope that this is the case.

I think it was kicked into sudden action by Brexit and the subsequent drop in the value of £Sterling, making it cheaper in real terms for foreign money to buy the club. But it seems the buyer had a lot of groundwork sorted, so they must have just been sticking over price / terms and maybe Morgan was playing it cool? It will be interesting to find out if we do how much Steve Morgan held out for.
And it seems it's definitely happening, so if you're concerned about people topping themselves, you should check the official West Brom forum, they have a Dingle Watch thread in Other Sport, that up until this was certain we were irrelevant history, now they're not very happy at all and increasingly so lol :-)

I was going to guess tomorrow, assuming the 12th would be a luckier day than 13th in Chinese culture. But apparently not, because while 12 is symbolic of cosmic order - space and time (12 months of the yr, Chinese zodiac etc) , 13 is a super lucky and maybe appropriate number for them, because in Chinese it rhymes with the word for Arise, which means Life Essence, perfect for embarking on a new venture.
Meanwhile, 14 is apparently very bad, as it rhymes with their word meaning "I want to die"! Maybe if Robin Li had been buying the Baggies, but no good here. While the number 15 means the magic square, which is apparently highly significant.
So based on totally amateur Chinese mysticism, I reckon it's likely to be Wednesday 13th or Friday 15th. But then apparently there's a whole load of days in the Chinese calendar that are either auspicious (lucky) or inauspicious (unlucky) , who knows if any days this week are those? To be certain, we might even need to guess and factor in Moxey's spirit animal (which could be open to much interpretation) !

And regarding it being potentially seen as disrespectful, I genuinely hope not, it's all pukka information off proper Chinese mystical / culture sites and although lighthearted I've not ridiculed it. I have Gypsy ancestors so I do respect other peoples beliefs and traditions, even mystical / superstitious ones. I actually really like that they have mystical beliefs and traditions, gives them depth.
And the dates were apparently a very big thing in them wanting their Olympics on the dates it happened, and I've read they'll pay lots of money for lucky car number plates, so even if I'm wrong in thinking their culture could be partly influenced by it, it's an innocent well natured misunderstanding :-)
