While I don't believe this for one second i'm going to play devils advocate. Costa is managed by Uncle Jorge, Conte has said he won't play for them again, Athletico can't sign anyone till January, Costa needs to stay fit. he's had an offer to go and play in Turkey in the interim, but that's a big upheaval for 4/ 5 months. From Fosuns point of view they could offer to pay most of his salary for that time and it would probably only come to a few million which we know wouldn't worry them. He also wouldn't have to move house until the Madrid move happens. It would also put the Neves statement to shame! Jorge has already shown his persuasive abilities on Miranda, Neves and Boly, why not Costa?

Another correct source for me. I told you all on Saturday that John Ruddy had signed a 2 year deal and would be announced today. that's the defensive side of the team sorted. Now they are fully committed to get a forward who can score plenty of goals. No names yet. Will share when I find out who.

Burgoyne didn't really have any bad games the few he played I thought after Liverpool he would take the number 1 spot for a while to properly test him.
