Wolves trying to take jermaine jenas on a 3 month loan deal
From spurs.. Would be a great signing..

Absolutely no interest in taking on a player in his twilight years and bad injury record. Will do the squad no good at all to have a charly big potatoes come in on loan.

Well. the new owners are in at Forest (spelt it RIGHT this time Ed! lol.) lets see if Mick gets the job?

Don't need gap fillers need to build a squad

Would be a terrible signing. Made no impact at the Viler last season.

3 month loan would be more a season

If MM gets the job at Forest then Gudieora ? is definitely back to the Wolves. Good player - should never have gone out on loan.

Why don't we try and sign Keiron Dyer aswell?

Forest fan here. MM will Not be joining us. Lots of speculation the Redknapps odds have gone from 100-1 last week to 5-1 last night, can't see it myself, hearing deals are done for Elokobi, Adlene and Kighty! We DEFIANTLY want Adlene! Plus he wants to come back to us!!

@Forest Fan - Why would we sell players we need to a rival club when we don't need the cash. And the words to your new song go like this:

"Super, super Mick, super, super Mick, super, super Mick, super Mick McCarthy.."

Wolves fan here,i like forest and have many mates in nottingham you dont want any idiots like thick mick and connor all the best hope you do well

Forest fan. im sure whn i say this.. i speak 4 most Wolves fans. Why the hell did we loan him 2 in th e 1st place!

Well someone watches the same game as me because they all agree with me about guedioura (immense) thick mick might off lured him away

Ebanks-Blake to Millwall 2m and Jarvis to QPR 9m

Right Millwall to pay 2 mill for a striker.

MIllwall? He won't get a look in with Andy Keogh there.

The only person to agree on first post is the poster themselves. Sad.

its not just about the championship its about being able to play in prem too and stearman etc have already proven they cant do the job.we cannot afford to go up and have to buy 6 prem players so we have to build now get real !

Dont take going straight back up for granted though neither.

Why isnt anyone mentioning stearman for cb.. I thinks hes great and still learning for his age.. He will be good one day

If you think he is great im sorry but you don't know a lot about football, he is awful

He isn't bad but I also don't think he is good enough to organise our defence through a Championship title attack and a Prem campaign. Batth is good but a little too inexperienced so I think it is important to get somebody experienced in, as we tried with Johnson - I have a feeling he will be given a second chance.

Stearman's inconsistent i think we should get rid of him. Next season our CB's should be Johnson and Batth

TWOLF

Keep telling yourself that stearman

Your having a laugh

That main post was not by me.
Richard S.

Maybe we might be surprised by some of our players when they get some real coaching for a change.

^^^^
Very very good point

Stears, get off wolves rumours!

Stearman should be sold asap.

Stearman is not a RB, and admittedly had a bad season playing there. Whenever he is given a chance at CB he's done pretty well. I bet you were all on his back when his partnership with Mancienne basically got us promoted.

Stearman is totally useless. Should be sold immediately; thats if anyone would want him.

Leave it out lads, bit harsh.
R.Stearman

Villa was sniffing around him at one point, another post makes a very good point in a change of coach might work wonders for some of these palyers that have lost there way......

.... NAH CHANGED MY MIND HALF WAY THROUGH TYPING, STEARMAN IS SIMPLY JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH !

Mills wolf

Trouble with stearman is that he has at least one costly mistake in him every game and we can't afford that.

Consistency is a problem for Stearman. He does pop the occasional goal in, mind.

Dont worry stevie wonder posted this

TC too Sheffield Wednesday? Their coach has left for Arsenal and he's worked with Dave Jones...

Bloody hope so!

YES!!!!!!!!!!

There's a couple of tenuous links of logic there. But it's the kind of move I would expect.

What is solbakken doing. Give kightly, ebanls blake and berra new deals now. We know they can do a job in the championship insted of these scandinavians that noone has ever heard of. {Ed011's Note - Do you seriously think that they wouldn't have tried? If any players contracts do run out then I'll believe the club doesn't feel we needed them and let them go or the players themselves truly wanted to leave, not because of poor management.

Berra? Really?

For depth in the squad.he aint as bad as people say. I would start with danny batth and sign someone like darcy blake or ian evatt

I think that all of them will do a good in the championship but we need to look for the future. I think Kightly should get a new contract cause of the way he was playing at the end of the season but he is injury prone. I thought berra was our best defender last season which says a lot. Ebanks blake was the top scorer in his last 2 seasons in the championship.

TWOLF

I don't rate him. I think we should move him on. I agree Danny Batth definite! He was brilliant for Wednesday (surprised they haven't submitted a cheeky bid).
But for backup I would have Stearman. Zubar can play there and there are also a couple of lads in the academy if we are desperate.

I'm all for giving the youth a chance but let's see what he is like first, there is a big difference between div 1 and the prem where some of the worlds best strikers ply their trade

As iv posted soooo many time, kightly has been offered a contract n has refused to sign it!

Yeah but your an Albion fan that's why

Call me cynical but I think Kightly is holding out till the end of the season when he will leave regardless of what division we're in! He looks like a hero to the fans as he 'gave us a season' and will claim the club never made him a decent offer. Bobbybuffon

I think we might even see that forgotten player mouyokolo considered IF he can prove his fitness again

I cant stand berra in the prem, he's too graddy and always looks likley to give away freekicks but will do the job in the champ.

Would really like to see Zubar given a chance there as he was originally i centre back untill mad mick decided he'd be better of as a rightback/goalkeeper/striker/bus driver/tea boy/ like he did with all our players

Mills wolf

Check the Wolves official site Kightly has a contract untill summer 2014, So correct me if im wrong doesn't that mean we have him for another 2 seasons unless we decide to sell now

Does any wolves fans think we should try and snip Alan smith to coming to wolves still think he would do a job {Ed011's Note - Definitely not the type of thing we should be looking at, we're not just looking to win the Championship we're meant to be looking for a team that will get to mid-table in the Premier League.

Alan Smith? Really? Is it Friday 13th yet? {Ed011's Note - More like April 1st's come back around fast.

If we want a team to get promoted and cope in the prem why have we signed nouble. He was rubbish in league 1. {Ed011's Note - Good question, ask the management not me, I wouldn't have signed him.

And he signed for MK Dons an hour ago.

Fully agree ed

Exactly we got sam winnall whos better than nouble and can accually score but nope noing us we will proberly sell him n then he will bite us in the a**

Sam Winnall better than a lad who was in the Chelsea academy under Jose Mourinho...

OK.

What a stupid comparison! Sam Winnall is about 5'5" and Nouble is 6'3" its like comparing Beckham and Walcott similar positions different players so you can't say who's better!

I think Nouble will prove us all wrong when he gets his chance.

I think he'll be similar to Lumes when he came to us, everyone said that was crazy back then

swansea want doyle ,for £5 million i would sell him , {Ed011's Note - If it meant we could keep Fletcher and Jarvis then I'd agree, however I wouldn't want to lose both Doyle and Fletcher at any cost.

Why not {Ed011's note - Because we'd have only pairings of very inexperienced strikers in Sigurdarson, Vokes, Nouble or any of the youth players or a player who hasn't featured regularly in the first team for a long time in Ebanks-Blake who I know was brilliant in the Championship in 2008/09 and if we expect Ebanks-Blake to brilliant again after being questionable for so long, why can't Doyle do the same? To be honest I think that Doyle could be brilliant in the Championship under the right leadership which I trust Stale to introduce.

Why would you want tell sell a player that at one point was linked with arsenal for the same amount we payed for him ?

In the championship he'll smash it, and in the first season in the prem he was out best player by a mile !

totally agrree with the ed

Apparently Fletcher and Jarvis have both said they are happy to stay at the club. Seems like SS has already made an impression. Any thoughts ed? {Ed011's Note - At reading this the major thoughts that spring to mind are a mixture of being hungry and "YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! JARVO & FLETCH TO STAY!!!" - I would love for them to stay, Carlton Cole did for West Ham and it seems like there is a good feeling in the Wolves dressing room that players don't want to lose to hastily.

What is your source?

Where does it say that then ? or you just reading between the lines ?

Wolves will sell if big money is offered both will be gone by the end of the week

I think they are saying that they are prepared to honour their contracts i.e. not put in a transfer request. The club are saying that if a big eneough offer came in that might change things.

Who is the person who keeps saying source ? or what is your source ? Jesus , you need to get out more.

He needs to 'ketchup' - lol

Stating the source of your post just gives it more gravitas.

Jarvis has been down in london a few times already since the season has finished apparently shopping and going for meals etc, i cannot see him staying but personally i think we have seen the best out of him and Kightly, let him go and lets freshen up the squad a bit more :)

People said the same about robbie keane, sell him and buy. but what did we buy donkeys.

Hey! dnt knock Ade Akinbiyi! Ha ha. sorry coudnt resist tht 1.

KIGHTLY BETTER THAN JARVIS (all im saying)

10 Jul 2012 11:35:32
After ppl giving me abuse about me saying kightly is not signing a new contract, today the E&S have reported the same, he isnt signing and Stale is trying to wiegh up either moving him on for the 1.75mil i sed, or making him stay n let him go for 0

Would not believe any s**t written in the E&S

The E&S are reporting that there has been and may not be a contract offer, not that he is refusing to sign

I think you misunderstand the situation. As with all players with short contracts remaining Stale will have to weigh up whether to cash in or not, this is obvious but doesn't mean that Kightly is on his way. It also doesn't hurt to play down thier importance in an effort to get best deal on them signing a new contract. Sometimes you should apply a little business logic rather than blindly misinterpretating what the press are saying.

Nowhere in the Guess & Stir article does it say anything about Kightly not signing a new contract. What is says is Stale is putting on hold offers of contract extensions to those with a year to run on their deals. Which right now makes a lot of sense - Stale needs to work out who he wants long term and once he does those he wants to keep will be offered new deals, those he does not see figuring in his plans will be sold.

Ian

He hasn't said he isn't signing..

What can i say you must be too important for the E&S not to listen to you

Michael Kightley hasn't refused to sign a new contract. He hasn't been offered one,at least so far.

The E&S have probably used your post as their main research being the story!

No what it says is SS might offer him one he might not he could sell that don't mean kites doesn't want one

The E&S says no such thing. Stale says that he will decide whether Kightly is offered a contract...there is no comment from Kightly. its a clear message to all of the squad that they have to impress if they are going to stay in the squad.

Its on Sky Sports News that Michael kightly will be leaving soon as he has only got a year left on his contract and Stale will listen to offers for him

Ok, so its only a coinsidence that i sed this exact thing on saturday? He HAS refused to sign an extension that wolves HAVE offered him, i know this for fact! £1.75 mil to west ham is still on the cards, but if SS thinks he is worth keeping then he will leave for 0, is it worth it? Thats up to SS, if you look back i had ppl saying that it was garbage n that he had signed for 4 years, or he had 2 years left. On the same message I also sed that fletcher wants to go and wolves are happy to help him, they have agreed that its best for wolves to control it, so fletch gets the move he wants but wolves get a good price, then not suprsingly yday wolves say he is available at £15mil, from what i understand, £10mil IS what wolves will do business at, £15mil is just so wolves have started it rolling, as what fletch wanted. I hardly ever put anything up unless i no its right/been told its right at the time. Things change quickly, but im 100% sure of this!

Wolvesinsider in diguise ^^

I'm not sure that anyone who is unintelligent enough to spell said "sed" can be trusted to tell the truth. The only people I know that are that thick are West Brom fans.

Wolves In Cider

The club would not have offered a contract extension while Kightly was struggling for form and fitness. The "old" Kightly did not resurface untill the final weeks of the season. Of course by then we were looking fo a new manager, and it would be left to him to decide whether he wanted to keep Kightly or any of the others in the last year of their contract.

It was offered after 2 or 3 matches of his loan in feb

10 Jul 2012 06:08:05
Wolves won't sign anyone untill they off load some of the baggage we have, anyway the changing rooms ain't big enough at the mo never mind signing 4 new players, where they gona sit ? In the north bank {Ed011's Note - What are you on about?!

I can see where this guys coming from. I don,t think we will make any more signings untill the new manager has assessed his squad and decides to sacrafice one or two of them, to bring players in.
Jody Craddocks future is still up in the air for instance. Hunt even Doyle may go.

Wolves have a squad of 50ish
BUT! that includes youth team who have been given professional contracts also
PortonWolf

I agree with this guy, we do have a squad of fifty players and all everyone is talking about is who we are going to sign,it makes sense that we have to off load the likes of Berra, Craddock,Ward, Hunt,Elokobi,Stearman, Doyle, Vokes, Edwards,

Totaly agree with above post allplayers named must go.

You forgot egot jonson ( however you spell it ) he is crap.
