Norwich looking at Ebanks-blake Blake in January. Was talk of them wanting grififths in Jan but real target is Blake. Bid to be in region on £700,000 to test wolves resolve with the player nearing his end of contract at end of season.
Roddas clotted cream all the way

The (lack of form) he's in take the most we can get, providing there's a lined up alternative.

I recently posted that I would watch the mighty Wolves blitz Bristol City and was there to watch us hammer them. Because I live in the South West cant get to watch the boys that much but previously had watched them in the prem beat Sunderland and before that Man City. We looked just as good against Bristol and think its just a case of getting our confidence up and one or two signings in Jan. Look at the other results and you will see that Bristol City have had good results against some of the top sides (beat Middlesborough away etc) and we made them look second rate. Lets continue to hope that SS is the man to give us that confidence and good luck to MM at Ipswich because after all he made a dream come true for an old git like me in getting us back into the prem. We should not forget that. Lets keep the talent young and fresh and hope we dont pursue signings of the old been around the block players like Pennant! Up the Wolves.........

Hey what yo guys think about our team at the moment? Do you think when Boukari or Peszko comes back to fitness we should get rid of one of the strikers (most probably ebanks) to put one of them in the squad? I think playing sigurdarson where he is at the moment is working to our favour but think our right midfield is week cause if you saw against Birmingham to get a cross from the right Foley had to run all the way up the pitch or one Tongo had to go to the right and then he'd try and pass it to the centre of midfield.

TWOLF

Yes but apparently jamie o hara will be playing right mid and also pezko can play both right and left mid and boukari can play right mid or up front so plenty of options there wehre thereall fit and readdy.

not reli seen any of those three play tho so may need a strong creative right midfielder

Is it just me, or perhaps I havent seen enough of him, but Pezko is no match for Kightly or Hammil?

To be honest i can't see o'hara playing right midfield. But obviously today E&S saying o'hara could play as a playmaker. If you remember in preseason Stale was trying to play a 4-5-1 but that was before o'hara got injured and Kightly got sold. Got to admit with post above from what i saw of peszko he's not as good as kightly was but he's better than Hamill. I'd prefer to see Boukari play their

Anyone else think that Doyle on the right wing, sako on the left with siggy in the middle would kill championship teams? Especially with the midfield: Karl Henry playing defensively, O'hara attacking and Doumbia doing a bit of both. O'hara could be replaced with a better attacking mid, but we'll have to see how he does I guess, and obviously when peszko is back he'll go right wing, with Doyle and sigurdarson probably rotating each game.

Imagine mr Morgan would have got his wish and his beloved Liverpool were his club.after a good start the club looking to move forward he stands in the middle of anfield givin it the biggun.then the wheels come off Liverpool slide down the table and are relegated.he then appoints an unknown manager to get Liverpool back to where they belong, the fans plead give em time it will be ok at least we've got money in the bank.not sure that would be the scenario and I'm 100 per cent positive mr Morgan wouldn't let that happen so why is it happening to my club, why is the silence deafening, what are mr Morgan's ambitions for our club, why no speech in the middle of molineaux.do you think Liverpool supporters would put up with it. No they bloody wouldn't,in my eyes Wolverhampton wanderers are on a par to Liverpool, imagine Liverpool 16th in the championship.ktf.

Not a bad call at all i think doyle looks more suited to be a midfielder tbf

and dont forget we have razak boukari coming back soon hopefully who has loadsa pace on the wings

so who would you like a buyin to have upfront though?

And why does mr solbakken attend a q and a session facing the fans without jezmond and bob.the more I see of solbakken the more I warm to him.wonder if he feels he's being shafted along with the fans.the realist.

Most likely

Doesnt matter who plays where and when as long as Henry is on the field we are strong and will rise to the playoffs.

Yes we need a couple of players but the most important thing in January is NOT TO LOOSE HENRY.

Everton Norwich Villa and Sunderland are ALL sniffing.

Simple.

The teams with some spare cash, struggling to stay in the Prem will be sniffing at our best players so those teams don't surprise me (3 of them anyway).

Comes down to money in the end. A few million for Henry or Doyle would be accepted and a million for SEB too probably. M&M will get a good deal given the chance, and Stale can bring in some of his own choices.

According to E&S O'Hara is ready to play tonight in a friendly behind closed doors.

Think it will be a massive suprise to se him playing in our first team ever again after the disgraceful way soem fans treated him when he had his kid with him. I really hope I'm wrong but timimg wise he seems fit and ready......ready for the transfer window. Coincidence?

You bored yet? everyone has slanted him for his injury proneness and now he is near match fitness you go say ready for a transfer? no he is staying o hara has already stated he wants to stay!

I'm not slating the guy. if fans had attacked my kid then i'd tell em all where to go too.

I did say I hope I'm wrong, and if I am I'll be delighted, but I have not seen him say he wants to stay....anywhere. If he does great, just seems convenient he's coming back to fitness just as the window is about to open

Shall we just judge him on the pitch?

I think a fit O'hara will be a much needed boost to our attacking options. I think he'll will stay, i guess time will tell on that

Coincidence. He won't leave in January. But when he's fully ready for 1st team action I don't know where to fit him in the team. The only thing I could see happening is if Stale took Henry out. Which he mentioned in the E&S a month or so ago. But we play much better with Henry in the team.

I agree about henry i cant stand the bloke and dont rate him but he must be a good leader as when he plays we actully win!

but ive heard hes trainning o hara to play right midfield as he likes left footed players playing there or something?

not sure if its true i just heard people saying at the game ?

Karl Henry has to play in cm for wolves, even in the prem when he didn't play we got mullered, every successful team has a Karl Henry and I for one would not be surprised if a prem offer comes in for Karl in jan.doumbia is our next Karl Henry and he must watch and learn how to play the cm role in the British game he has an excellent tutor.a totally underrated footballer and if you are gonna wittier on about the red cards,he's a winner, souness the best midfield player I've seen wouldn't last ten minutes in any game nowadays but he made Liverpool play.karl is gold n black when we lose it hurts.that counts for a lot.the realist.

If Ohara can play on the right side of midfield so can I,I can't run but have a wand of a left foot lol.modern wingers need two good feet pace and power.the realist.

O'hara is on 35k a week! Course he'll stay. Lol.

O'Hara strated life as a wideman. With his inability to tackle in central m/f I would put him wide right

why does sako get fatigued within 45minutes he truely is not fit enough....

To be fair, I thought he looked more full of running in the second half against blues.
oh and at least he does do something in the 90 minutes on the pitch that actually gets me on the edge of my seat.
maybe he just needs to pace himself better :)

Tbf he gets alot of pressure on him so he will tire but i agree he needs to work on his fitness or pace himself

however his strenght when peop,e were attacking him and pulling him back against blues was outstanding !

Just for you thickos & moaners, have a look at where S'amton/Reading/QPR are sitting in the premiership.

Whats the point in promotion if you haven't prepared a team for it. You just come straight back down & have to start all over again probably with a new manager. The failure will have been sacked, even though he was classified as the greatest thing since sliced bread 12 months earlier.
QPR, on paper, were prob the best prepared of the three but even they are not good enough. So just bide your time & wait til we have built a team that can withstand the rigors of the P'ship.
90% of our current lot were not up to it when they were there last year, so wait until they have been got rid of & a new team has been assembled. This will take time, next season at least. Believe me if this team did get promoted they will be the strongest team in the division. Right at the bottom, holding the rest up.
Just be patient, the management know what they are doing. Thats why they are management & you lot are on sitting on the terraces. Support the club & stop moaning about how things are run, which most of you know very little about.

Well said. The P'ship is a tough nut to crack and once you go on the slide it is painful. I know, my son treated me to the Executive Day last season when we lost 1-5 to the lot down the road. That takes some stomaching, as does getting beaten off the park week in and week out. I am sure the experience of last season has drained some of the current squad, they need out for a different challenge as much as we want them out. But you can not build a P'ship side overnight, its like bits of a big jigsaw, and you can not change everything at once. Keep the support up and the pressure on, the players SS has brought in need to know the fans are with them and the future is good.

Wimbornewolf

So out of the 6 teams that have come up over the last 2 seasons, you have 4 that are 15th and above. Maybe thats the point of promotion.

signed Thicko

Guess I'm a thicko but the new tv rights are worth a small fortune 3 teams in our league will benefit even if they come straight back down, the money is in the bank and as a club will be far stronger than those languishing mid table in the championship.i want to be promoted the longer we are away from the prem the harder it will become, the revenue will be ever decreasing and our ambition will be in the hands of some unknown knight in shining armour.we all know Jez n bob want a club in the black and if the money ain't coming in it won't be spent on the stadium, training facilities or the first team.whilst we al want our club to be there for our future generations we must surely all want to see us pitting our wits against the best than being in a hardy band making our way to Southend on a Tuesday night.my club are bigger than Southampton reading and qpr plus at least half of the prem.keep the faith/the realist.

You are correct ......just need the right team, well prepared to do it and stick there, some of those six wont!

What you disagreeing with.
